  • Loading UINavigationController from another nib automatically by UITabBarController

    I think I've found the cause: Document Info window in IB has a warning: "'Selected Navigation Controller (Second)' has nib name property set to 'SecondView.nib', but this view controller is not intended to have its view set in this manner." Bummer. I've built nib in Interface Builder that has UITabBarController at top level and switches between UINavigationControllers. It works fine when everything is in a single nib file, but I'd like to use separate nib files for UINavigationControllers. Starting with Apple's TabBar template, if I just change class of SecondView to UINavigationController, it all breaks: and all I get is this: Is it possible to have separate file for UINavigationController without programmatically setting everything? I would like TabBarController to handle loading and unloading of nibs.

  • Automatically copy files without overwriting, but creating numbered ones instead

    I need to copy files at a regular interval, eg once an hour so I tried setting up an xcopy batch saying it should copy the files it needs to copy to another folder. Now when it copies, it overwrites the files which is not what it is supposed to do. When a file is copied, it should create a new file instead, named something like File.txt, File-COPY1.txt, File-COPY2.txt or something like that. Any way to do that? Thanks in advance.

    I am trying to use your modified lighttpd server-status. server-status mod is enabled and running, I am geting lighttpd status but I can not use yours becouse I can not use port 80 again ($SERVER["socket"] == "192.168......:80" { status.status-url = "/server-status" server.document-root = "/var/www/status" mimetype.assign = ( ".html" = "text/html" ) index-file.names = ( "pretty-status.html" ) } this gives me an error on lighty restart saying port (= already in use. Any help?

    I am building an MVVM Panorama Windows Phone 7 application. At some point of Panorama Item's layout I get a bottom margin of a panorama header box, that moves my content too far down. Is there a way I can set a bottom margin of a ContentPresenter, that is generated to hold the controls, defined in the Panorama.HeaderTemplate? Here is my layout list in Silverlight Spy: In case the screen shot is not readable, here is a large version: http://bit.ly/rBvNp8 Something generates a 26 points bottom margin for a header box (probably the control's code, that handles a layout). How can I control this value? I need it to be set to 0.

That thread will run continously after the application startup with a sleep time of 10 seconds (This will update the application cache from getting the data from DB). But once the application is idle for more than 1 hour this thread is no longer running. Please give me a solution for continously run this thread.

  • Formatting data for printing automatically

    I have a requirement to retrieve data, format it to mimic an old request format we've used for years and then send it via IP address to any of a number of printers. Gathering the data and selecting the printer is no problem. I need to format the output for the printer and I'm just not sure what's best. The requirement is that the end users not have any interaction with the print request that's generated; only the intended recipients of the request job will know of the printed (& in a future release e-mailed) request. We also a requirement for a future update that we will have to incorporate into this solution an option to change the config in the DB so that each recipient site can choose printing or e-mail notification so I expect that I'll need to keep the control in a console app or webservice. I have the data and I can send it to the printers or generate an HTML-formatted e-mail easily; I just need to format it for the autoprinting. I don't think SSRS will help because I don't know of a way to designate a printer when running a report. Thanks for all help & suggestions.

    I'm switching from MockStrutsTestCase to Mockrunner and I'm finding that having to manually re-create all of my DynaActionForms in Mockrunner is a pain...there has to be an easier way?! Can somebody offer a tip to simplify this process?     Hi. I have a table with some columns. Something like this: tr1td1 one remove button tr1td2 one remove button ... The table has the size of the div#outer When I click remove button I remove with jquery the entire column . In Firefox everything's fine the table's columns resize to fill the div but in Internet Explorer the table's columns remain just as they are. It's like the browser doesn't refresh the css style. Because if I refresh the page the table looks just as it shoud be. Any ideas?

I had to use trigger for one of my website. so i installed trigger as root so that when something gets inserted on one table there some more rows gets inserted in other table Everything was working fine, but i have seen that there is no trigger in my dtabase. How does that be deleted from DB. I am bit worried because currently site is not live , but it can cause problem if this happens in live site. If my dropdownlistname has the same name, selected value is value of field. I don't understand this automatic rename! EDIT : Name is dependent on EditorTemplate : if EditorTemplate called like this: <%: Html.EditorFor(model => model.Pool,"SwimmingPool","")%> Name of dropdownlist is "PoolGeometry" and selectedvalues are ok. But if it is called like this: <%: Html.EditorFor(model => model.Pool,"SwimmingPool")%> Name of dropdownlist is "Pool.PoolGeometry"

Are there any pitfalls to be aware of? Should it not recognize a .rb file a ruby file rather than me having to go into the menu and setting it as such? Have I missed a setting somewhere? Thanks

    Google and my failing memory are both giving me hints that it does, but every attempt is coming up dry. class Y { var y = 0 } var m = new Y() m.y_(3) error: value y_ is not a member of Y Please tell me I am doing something wrong. (Also: please tell me what it is I am doing wrong.) EDIT The thing I am not doing wrong, or at least not the only thing I am doing wrong, is the way I am invoking the setter. The following things also fail, all with the same error message: m.y_ // should be a function valued expression m.y_ = (3) // suggested by Google and by Mchl f(m.y_) // where f takes Int => Unit as an argument f(m.y) // complains that I am passing in Int not a function I am doing this all through SimplyScala, because I'm too lazy and impatient to set up Scala on my tiny home machine. I thought out why this should be and then it occurred to me: The name of the setter for y is not y_, it is y_= !
