  Can any one explain me how to destroy box2d body when collide i have tried but my application crashed.First i have checked al collisions then add all the bodies in array who i want to destroy.I am trying to learning this tutorial My all the bodies are falling i want these bodies should destroy when these bodies will collide my actor monkey but when it collide it destroy but my aplication crashed.I have googled and from google i got the application crash reasons we should not destroy body in step funtion but i am removing body in the last of tick method. could any one help me or provide me code aur check my code why i am getting this prblem or how can i destroy box2d bodies. • Watching setTimeout loops so that only one is running at a time.

  I'm creating a content rotator in jQuery. 5 items total. Item 1 fades in, pauses 10 seconds, fades out, then item 2 fades in. Repeat. Simple enough. Using setTimeout I can call a set of functions that create a loop and will repeat the process indefinitely. I now want to add the ability to interrupt this rotator at any time by clicking on a navigation element to jump directly to one of the content items. I originally started going down the path of pinging a variable constantly (say every half second) that would check to see if a navigation element was clicked and, if so, abandon the loop, then restart the loop based on the item that was clicked. The challenge I ran into was how to actually ping a variable via a timer. The solution is to dive into JavaScript closures...which are a little over my head but definitely something I need to delve into more. However, in the process of that, I came up with an alternative option that actually seems to be better performance-wise (theoretically, at least). I have a sample running here: http://jsbin.com/uxupi/14 (It's using console.log so have fireBug running) Sample script: $(document).ready(function(){ var loopCount = 0; $('p#hello').click(function(){ loopCount++; doThatThing(loopCount); }) function doThatOtherThing(currentLoopCount) { console.log('doThatOtherThing-'+currentLoopCount); if(currentLoopCount==loopCount){ setTimeout(function(){doThatThing(currentLoopCount)},5000) } } function doThatThing(currentLoopCount) { console.log('doThatThing-'+currentLoopCount); if(currentLoopCount==loopCount){ setTimeout(function(){doThatOtherThing(currentLoopCount)},5000); } } }) The logic being that every click of the trigger element will kick off the loop passing into itself a variable equal to the current value of the global variable. That variable gets passed back and forth between the functions in the loop. Each click of the trigger also increments the global variable so that subsequent calls of the loop have a unique local variable. Then, within the loop, before the next step of each loop is called, it checks to see if the variable it has still matches the global variable. If not, it knows that a new loop has already been activated so it just ends the existing loop. Thoughts on this? Valid solution? Better options? Caveats? Dangers? UPDATE: I'm using John's suggestion below via the clearTimeout option. However, I can't quite get it to work. I then have navigation items that, when clicked, I want the above loop to stop, then restart with a new beginning slide: $(myNav).click(function(){ clearTimeout(timeout); timeout = null; startLoop(thisItem); }) If I comment out 'startLoop...' from the click event, it, indeed, stops the initial loop. However, if I leave that last line in, it doesn't actually stop the initial loop. Why? What happens is that both loops seem to run in parallel for a period. So, when I click my navigation, clearTimeout is called, which clears it.

• Mysql Slave stuck in "System lock"

  My MySQL slave is spending a lot of time in Slave_SQL_Running_State: System lock. I can see that the system is currently I/O write bound, and that it is processing the log, although slowly. Show processlist doesn't show anything other than "Waiting for master to send event" and "System lock" when it is in this state. All my tables (other than the system tables) are InnoDB, and external locking is disabled. What is the slave doing in this state?

What just happened here??? Heartbeat on node04 stopped and told node03, which was the active node at the time. Somehow, node03 decided to start the cluster processes that were already running. (For the processes that are not critical, I always return a 0 from the startupscript so it does not stops the entire cluster when a non-essential part fails.) When starting ActiveMQ, it returns status 1 because it is already running. This fails the node and shuts everything down. As heartbeat is not running on the secondary node, it cannot failover to there. When I tried to run ha_takeover to restart the resources, absolutely nothing happened. Only after I restarted heartbeat on the primary node the resources could be started (after a delay of 2 minutes). These are my questions: Why does heartbeat on the primary node try to start the cluster processes again? Why did ha_takeover not work? What can I do to prevent this from happening? • Task Scheduler permissions error for some jobs

  I have recently moved to a 64-bit Windows Server 2008 R2. I setup my Scheduled Tasks to run under one user (TaskUser) specifically created for the scheduler and most run just fine. However some of them do not run under TaskUser but will for my own credentials. Here is the Event Log entry I found, which from my research points me to believe that it doesn't have permissions, but it does. It also has the option "Run with highest privileges" checked on. I have seen this particular checkbox work wonders on some tasks, but I have a number of them that it's not helping for. • Permission denied: /home/.htaccess pcfg_openfile: unable to check htaccess file

  This domain was working this morning, now I get a 403 error and the message above in my error log. I'm not using .htaccess files but I have been doing some copy on the server so may have messed things up but no changes to this domain (unless by accident!). What is this pcfg_openfile thing anyway? Done lots of googleing but none of the solutions seemed to fit these circumstances. Server is ubuntu Hardy Heron.

• how to update webalizer on certain dates?

  Hi, My webalizer had been running fine until I changed the logrotate different name (dateext). Few days later, I realized that webalizer was not working, so I remove the dateext option. Webalizer is working again but there is no stats for 3-4 days in between. When I run webalizer manually, the records are just ignored because the history file is newer. Any solution for updating the stats for that date/log file without erasing the current stats?

Log in as admin to the bugzilla. Gone to Administration - Parameters - Email I can't see the option for SMTP::TLS under mail_ delivery_method. Any ideas, Thanks, Matt

• Fatal error 9001 on shared SQL Server 2008

  I've asked this same question on StackOverflow, but I might actually have a better chance for an answer here so am posting here as well. I know this question has been asked here before, but none of the suggestions have worked for me. I have an ASP.NET MVC (v. 3) website on a shared server. The website was working fine for a few weeks now, until I started getting a Fatal Error 9001 error straight after login. Because this is a shared server, there are only very limited things I can do with the database (and I don't know that much about databases anyway). The help desk insist that there is nothing wrong with their server. I got various suggestions from them: Upgrading to the business plan because I am out of space (first suggestion) Even though the .mdb file is small, the .ldb can grow very quickly. The .ldb file is probably taking up all the space. I have 100MB available, the database size is 16.5MB. Can the .ldb file take up the remaining space? On querying this with the helpdesk, they admitted that my entire db is only 25MB. There is something wrong with my SQL queries and I should check the website. I'm using EF with linq to SQL. Everything was working fine until now... Can there be something that goes wrong in the queries that causes this sort of error? There is nothing wrong to be seen in the db logs, so this error cannot possibly have happened. I should log it next time it happens and contact again. I found some posts suggesting that restoring a DB backup can get rid of the issue. I do not have a recent backup, and can't take a new one because of a fatal error 9001 occurring. Since this is a shared server I have about 0 authority to execute anything against the DB (think CHECKDB, truncating the log, etc.). So I am at my wits end pretty much. What else can I do/try to get my website moving again?

Any domain account that logs on to my 2008 machine gets a +- 20 second waiting time on "user profile service" I am using roaming profiles, they are around 8mb in size, and most folders are already redirected to a network share. event log registers no errors, there is more than 1 network card installed, but I have the correct card listed as "primary" Is there any way to increase verbosity of logging on specifically the "user profile service" ?   On a Cisco device, I know that enabling debugging can incur a performance hit since debugging has such a high priority on the CPU. I know that to log debugging, you have to set logging up to the debugging level (logging buffered 4096 debugging, for example) and also enable debugging on some feature. Does configuring the logging debugging incur the performance hit even if you don't enable debugging on some feature, or would it be safe (assuming you want and can handle all the logging events via syslog) to configure 'logging buffered 4096 debugging' to have maximum logging available if/when someone uses debug?
