  Hi friends I want to view .doc, .docx, .rtf, .ppt file in iphone. But I guess something is going wrong at my side and its not working for the above formats but my code is working fine for .txt and .pdf files. I have the read the document regarding Webview it states it supports viewing of the above document. below is my snippet for .doc [webView loadData:requestData MIMEType:@"application/msword" textEncodingName:@"UTF-8" baseURL:nil]; for .ppt I am using MIME type as "application/vnd.ms-powerpoint" Note: If I am making MIME type as "text/html" for .doc then it displays some garbage data So I think there is something missing in MIME type from my side. • Time Service will not start on Windows Server - System error 1290

  I have been trying to sort out some time sync issues involving two domain controllers and seem to have ended up with a bigger problem. It's horrible. They are both virtual machines (one being on Amazon EC2), which I think may complicate things regarding time servers. The primary DC with all the FSMO roles is on the LAN. I reset its time server configuration like this (from memory): net stop w32time w23tm /unregister shutdown /r /t 0 w32tm /register w32tm /config /manualpeerlist:”0.uk.pool.ntp.org,1.uk.pool.ntp.org,2.uk.pool.ntp.org,3.uk.pool.ntp.org” /syncfromflags:manual /reliable:yes /update W32tm /config /update net start w32time reg QUERY HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Services\W32Time\Config /v AnnounceFlags I checked to see if it was set to 0x05, which it was. On the Amazon EC2 remote replica DC (Windows Server 2008 R2 Core)... net stop w32time w32tm /unregister shutdown /r /t 0 w32time /register net start w32time This is where it all goes wrong System error 1290 has occurred. The service start failed since one or more services in the same process have an incompatible service SID type setting. A service with restricted service SID type can only coexist in the same process with other services with a restricted SID type. If the service SID type for this service was just configured, the hosting process must be restarted in order to start this service. I cannot get the w32time service to start. I've tried resetting the time settings and tried to reverse what I have done. The Ec2Config service cannot start either, as it depends on the w32time service. All the solutions I have seen involve going into the telephony service registry settings, but as it is Server Core, it does not have that role, and I cannot see the relationship between that and the time service. w32time runs in the LocalService group and this telephony service which does not exist on Core runs in the NetworkService group. Could this have something to do with the process (svchost.exe) not being able to be run as a domain account, as it now a domain controller, but originally it ran as a local user group, or something like that? There seem to be a lot of cases of people having this problem, but the only solution has to do with the (non-existant on Core) telephony service. Who even uses that?

  We have two Windows 2008 R2 SP1 servers running in a SQL failover cluster. On one of them we are getting the following events in the security log every 30 seconds. The parts that are blank are actually blank. Has anyone seen similar issues, or assist in tracking down the cause of these events? No other event logs show anything relevant that I can tell. I installed Network Monitor on this machine and did a filter for Kerberos traffic and found the following which corresponds to the timestamps in the security audit log.   If I type in domain.com and www.domain.com, they both show the same website, but show different urls in the address bar. I'd like visitors and search engines that just type "domain.com" to be redirected to "www.domain.com". I'm using IIS 7 on a godaddy hosting account. How do I redirect all requests for "domain.com" to "www.domain.com"? I have the default DNS setup, "domain.com" as my "A record" and the cname "www" points to my "A record".

But I don't want a list that shows: SG MV I want a list that shows: Song Movie I can do this on an individual object basis if I was in the template object.get_type_display But how do I get a list of all of the unique "type" entries in the database as their full names for output into a template? I hope this question was clearly described. . .

  I am building a MVVM application. The model / entity (I am using NHibernate) is already done, and I am thinking of using AutoMapper to map between the ViewModel and Model. How have you been using Automapper in a MVVM app? Please help!

  Hi, I'm trying to return a complex type from a service method in WCF. I'm using C# and .NET 4. This complex type is meant to be invariant (the same way .net strings are). If I try to define only getters on properties I get a run time error. I guess this is because no setters causes serialization to fail. Still, I think this type should be invariant. Is there a way to make readonly properties on a WCF DataContract? Is, how? If not, what would you suggest for this problem? Thanks, Asaf

  Hi, I'm new to iPhone programming and I'm trying to use CHDataStructures in my project. But I'm running into some issues: When I directly try to build it right after download I get the error "Foundation/Foundation.h" no such file or directory. The Active SDK is "Use Base SDK" and the active architecture is x86_64. I believe I should set the Active SDK to the iPhone SDK but it isn't listed there; At some point (I don't remember how) I managed to tweak it and I got the iPhone SDK (simulator) in the active SDK but when I tried to build it I got the following error: "target specifies product type 'com.apple.product-type.framework', but there's no such product type for the 'iphonesimulator' platform"; And now I'm stuck. • WPF: IEditableCollectionView and CanAddNew and empty collections

  We were having some issues with the wpf datagrid and IEditableCollectionView (although this question applies to using IEditableCollectionView and ItemsControl) When you have a collection with no items in it, the IEditableCollectionView cannot determine what items should be inserted so it sets CanAddNew=false we found a solution here (buried deep in the comments) that goes like so : If you derive from ObservableCollection like this public class PersonsList : ObservableCollection<Person> { } you will find out that if the initial collection is empty, there won't be a NewItemPlaceHolder showing up on the view. That's because PersonsList cannot resolve type T at design time. A workaround that works for me is to pass type T as a parameter into the class like this PersonsList<T> : ObservableCollection<T> where T : Person { } This approach will place the NewItemPlaceHolder even if the collection is empty. I'm wondering if there is an interface i can implement on my collections that inform the IEditableCollectionView which type to create should i get an AddNew request.

  I am exposing a web service using CXF. I am using the @XmlID and @XmlIDREF JAXB annotations to maintain referential integrity of my object graph during marshalling/unmarshalling. The WSDL rightly contains elements with the xs:id and xs:idref attributes to represent this. On the server side, everything works really nicely. Instances of Types annotated with @XmlIDREF are the same instances (as in ==) to those annotated with the @XmlID annotation. However, when I generate a client with WSDLToJava, the references (those annotated with @XmlIDREF) are of type java.lang.Object. Is there any way that I can customise the JAXB bindings such that the types of references are either java.lang.String (to match the ID of the referenced type) or the same as the referenced type itself?

  I have a site where I am trying to implement a jQuery UI based MessageBox in my master page. Content pages are arranged accoring to business area folders, i.e. '~/Branding/Contracts.aspx'. I find that when I load such a content page, jQuery, which is referenced in the master page as below, does not load. I assume that this is because the browser is requesting 'Branding/Scripts/jQuery '. What can I do about this? • Creating a Wiki site in SharePoint 2010

  I have a SharePoint 2010 site set up and would like to add a Wiki site to it. Normally, to add a subsite to a parent site you would click "Site Actions" - "New Site" and choose the site type (e.g. Team Site) and it would work fine. In the case of adding a Wiki site, I choose "Enterprise Wiki", and get "Error An Unexpected Error has occured Correlation Id:...". So i took the CorrelationId and checked in the ULS files to see what the error is, and the first bad sign seems to be: SharePoint Foundation Feature Infrastructure " The element of type 'ContentTypeBinding' for feature 'EnterpriseWiki' (id: 76d688ad-c16e-4cec-9b71-7b7f0d79b9cd) threw an exception during activation: Specified argument was out of the range of valid values. Parameter name: Content type not found (Id: '0x010100C568DB52D9D0A14D9B2FDCC96666E9F2007948130EC3DB064584E219954237AF39004C1F8B46085B4D22B1CDC3DE08CFFB9C')." There are more errors in the log, but this seems to be the first one. Any ideas on whats going on? Thanks

  Some users are trying to send email to certain domains using Exchange Server 2003, but the message is always is rejected and the following message is shown: 5.5.0 smtp;554 Transaction Failed Spam Message not queued The IP is not in a black list (checked using http://whatismyipaddress.com/blacklist-check and is clean - not listed). The emails were checked using using smtpdiag ("a troubleshooting tool designed to work directly on a Windows server with IIS/SMTP service enabled or with Exchange Server installed") and the connection using port 25 is ok.
