How select the rest of the word in incremental search in Eclipse?

When in incremental search mode in Eclipse, is there a way to select the rest of the word? For example, suppose I want to find the word “handleReservationGranted”. I type Ctrl-f to enter incremental search mode, and start typing the letters “han”. Now suppose I have found the beginning of “handleReservationGranted”. In my search box I have “han”, but I would now like to be able to select the rest of the word, so that the search box contains “handleReservationGranted” instead of “han”. In Xemacs, I can type Ctrl-s, type “han”, and then type Ctrl-w. Now my search term is “handleReservationGranted”, and not “han”. So now if I press Ctrl-s, I find the next occurrence of “handleReservationGranted”. I frequently prefer the incremental search over the search dialog, as the search dialog takes too much space on my screen, and most annoying it frequently hides the found matches. I am using Eclipse Galileo (3.5.2). Ctrl-Shift-L gives me the list of possible shortcuts in the given context, but none seems to fit what I'm looking for.

Ozeki Server not recieving SMS messages

I'm trying to get Ozeki to recieve SMS messages from my GSM Nokia E63 - it will send messages fine but wont recieve them. jQueryUI Slider handle not moving

I'm trying to implement a jQuery slider with increments. I've gone from, the actual project page, to a test page of the project with just the slider, to just the slider. In all cases I've been unable to get the handle to move. It also seems to have a width of 1px or similar. After the second creation and closure of the dialogB the overlay of dialogA disappear. Database design for a media server containing movies, music, tv and everything in between?

In the near future I am attempting to design a media server as a personal project. MY first consideration to get the project underway is architecture, it will certainly be web based but more specifically than that I am looking for suggestions on the database design. So far I am considering something like the following, where I am using [] to represent a table, the first text is the table name to give an idea of purpose and the items within {} would be fields of the table. Also not, fid is functional id referencing some other table. [Item {id, value/name, description, link, type}] - this could be any entity, single song or whole music album, game, movie - almost see this as a recursive relation, ie. a song is an item but an album that song is part of is also an item or for example a tv season is an item, with multiple items being tv episodes [Type {id, fid, mime type, etc}] - file type specific information - could identify how code handles streaming/sending this item to a user [Location {id, fid, path to file?}] [Users {id, username, email, password, ...? }] - user account information [UAC {id, fid, acess level}] - i almost feel its more flexible to seperate access control permissions form the user accounts themselves [ItemLog {id, fid, fid2, timestamp}] - fid for user id, and fid2 for item id - this way we know what user access what when [UserLog {id, fid, timestamp}] -both are logs for access, whether login or last item access [Quota {id, fid, cap}] - some sort of way to throttle users from queing up the entire site and letting it download ... Suggestions or comments are welcome as the hope is that this project will be a open source project once some code is laid out.

AJAX Submit to PHP still loading page after preventDefault()

I have a webpage that I am using .ajax to send variables to a php script. The php page is loading into the browser as if I was navigating to it. The script is loading the data correctly, so my issue is stopping the navigation and keeping the user on the original page. ASP.NET MVC 2 VB, Not recognising my import.

I had a problem with a project I converted from C# to VB, in that the VB version it cannot seem to find an object even though I declared it with an Import statement at the top. I created a new, default MVC 2 VB project, and the same problem occurs there. I create a new MVC 2 application, I then add a reference to System.Data.Services.Client, and in my Index.aspx, in the Content area, I type <% Dim x As DataServiceQueryContinuation %> which is what I want to use. It gives me a blue squiggly line and says Type 'DataServiceQueryContinuation' is not defined. At the top of the page, I add this: <%@ Import Namespace="System.Data.Services.Client" %> The error persists. My original C# version has no such error. I also get this warning: Warning 2 Namespace or type specified in the Imports 'System.Data.Services.Client' doesn't contain any public member or cannot be found. Make sure the namespace or the type is defined and contains at least one public member. Make sure the imported element name doesn't use any aliases. e:\ASPNETDEBUG\MvcApplication1\MvcApplication1\Views\Home\Index.aspx 10 9 MvcApplication1 Examining the DLL using the tool provided shows that it does have a public member. Also when typing the above, System.Data. provides intellisense but there is no 'Services'. Any ideas?

How do I reset a form in an ajax callback?

I am sending a form using simple ajax and returning the results in a div above the form. The problem is that after the form is submitted and validated, I display a thank you and want to reset the form so they don't just press the submit button again... Can't seem to find the right code to do this... <form id="myForm" target="sendemail.php" method="post"> <div id="results"></div> <input type="text" name="value1"> <input type="text" name="value2"> <input type="submit" name="submit"> </form> So, my sendemail.php validation errors and success messages appear in #results without problems. But... when I try to send back a javascript form reset command, it does not work. Naturally I cannot see it in the source code since it is an AJAX callback so I don't know if that is the issue or if I am just using the wrong syntax. echo "<p>Thank you. using .net mvc 3 and trying to increase the allowable file upload size. making check boxes clickable once in javascript?

Sorry but im an absolute noob with javascript. Ive made a form for a simple quiz but cant figure out how to make radio's only click once. Having trouble plugging jQuery FullCalendar into Squarespace page

When I test the fullcalendar widget locally, it works fine. However, when I try to integrate it with Squarespace, it doesn't show up. I can't figure out why this isn't working! The calendar should definitely fit in the div space (at least it does locally). I've used jQuery with Squarespace before, and I don't see where my error is.

Adding Css class to all <input type'text'> elements? Javascript / Css?

I want to apply a CSS class to every textbox in my site: <div class="editor-label"> <label for="FoodType">FoodType</label> </div> <div class="editor-field"> <input id="HelpText" name="FoodType" type="text" value="" /> </div> <p> <input type="submit" value="Create" /> </p> And I thought, Hey! Easy. I'll add a jquery function to find them all in the masterpage. <script type="text/javascript"> $(document).ready(function(){ $('input').addClass('textbox'); } </script> Unfortunately this will also select the submit button. How can i only select input elements that have a text type attribute? Alternativly is this possible using entirely CSS? If both these methods are not possible, i guess i will just have to manually add the class to every textbox i make? Cheers, Kohan.

Serialize Object

Hi.. I am new to serialization and I cannot for the life of me figure out how to fix this exception I am getting... I have an object that has the following structure [XmlRoot("MaxCut2")] public class MaxCut2File : IFile { public MaxCut2File() { MyJob = new Job(); Job.Reference = "MyRef"; } [XmlElement("JobDetails", typeof(Job))] public IJob MyJob { get; set; } } An inteferface... public interface IJob { string Reference { get; set; } } And an class [Serializable()] public class Job : IJob { [XmlElement("Reference")] public string Reference { get; set; } } When I try to serialize an instance of the MaxCut2File object I get an error {"Cannot serialize member 'MaxCut2File.MaxCut2File.MyJob' of type 'MaxCut2BL.Interfaces.IJob', see inner exception for more details."} "There was an error reflecting type 'MaxCut2File.MaxCut2File'." However if I change my property MyJob from the IJob type to the Job type it works fine... Any ideas?
