When I run I get the error: Initialization of 'System.Windows.Media.Imaging.BitmapImage' threw an exception. • How to update (append to) an href in jquery?

  I have a list of links that all go to a google maps api. the links already have the daddr (destination) parameter in them as static. I am using Geo-Location to find the users position and I want to add the saddr (source address) to the links once I get the data. so basically I will need to add something like &saddr=50.1234567,-50.03452 at the tail end of all the links pointing to google maps All the links have a class called directions-link and from this page I have figured out how to change them: $("a.directions-link").attr("href", "http://www.google.com/"); However I only want to append my value to the end of the href without changing what the href already is.   I am trying to write some google map functionlity and playing around with javascript closures with an aim to try organise and structure my code better.   I Am trying to connect to a method in my controller, with a button. I can connect though this link: @Html.ActionLink("Print", "Print", new { id = Model.SalesContractId}) But i Don't want a link, i want my button on my dialog to do it.   i'm having a problem loading an image from a package i created in the project that was set to contain images, i have to write the whole picture location in the computer instead of just the package that contains it. i've tried several things but nothing seams to work... where is the command i use to load the image : searchBar = ImageIO.read(new File("C:\\Users\\ASUS\\Documents\\NetBeansProjects\\Project\\src\\Images\\search.jpg")); "Images" is a package in my project , this works, but when i try loading the image without the "C:\..." only with the "\Images..." it doesn't , so i have to change it every time i open this project in another computer. hopefully one of u has the answer for me , thanks in advance for any answer :)

  I am developing a C# VS 2008 website, trying to add a Master file. I created a virtual directory in IIS housing the "Master" folder, containing the Master files. Now how do I reference these files from my website in VS? One problem is I do not know where I need to publish this Master folder to. Other problem is I do not know how to reference this Master file in my aspx Page directive. FYI, this master folder is physically located outside of c:\inetpub\ in a totally separate file location. Is this a problem?

• how i can send date from site to other sites

  Hi, Im not much of a php coder, mainly use VB. But i had a problem with one of my apps. To make it more secure i would need each php parameter to go through one site. Here is an example of what i mean: Application loads sends ip and location to 2 servers (a.php & b.php) the problem so far is that the pc is making direct connections to these pages. What i was trying to do is make it so that it only sends one command to z.php and the page z.php would send the data to a.php and b.php. My question is how would i set up z.php? I hope i make sense, i have looked everywhere and couldnt find an answer.

• Recommended ways to install USB drivers with a Visual Studio 2005 Setup Project?

  I need to install a USB driver with an application, and I'm using a Visual Studio 2005 Setup Project to create the installer. The driver only needs to be installed sufficient enough so that when the USB device is plugged in, Windows will go off doing it's "installing device" routine and do the rest of the job. It would be okay also to have the setup finish and then the user connects the device when required with the driver install completing then. However the user shouldn't be prompted to find a driver location. The USB drivers I have are available either as plain .sys / .inf files, or as a full installer (.msi together with a setup.exe wrapper). The full installer deals with combinations of operating systems and languages, but the application is for internal use and I can limit the target OS to Windows XP. Would it be better just to run the available installer via a custom action, or to install via the .inf file somehow (I'm not sure how to do that)?

  I am trying to use the jQuery dialog UI library in order to position a dialog next to some text when it is hovered over. The jQuery dialog takes a position parameter which is measured from the top left corner of the current viewport (in other words, [0, 0] will always put it in the upper left hand corner of your browser window, regardless of where you are currently scrolled to). However, the only way I know to retrieve the location is of the element relative to the ENTIRE page. The following is what I have currently. position.top is calculated to be something like 1200 or so, which puts the dialog well below the rest of the content on the page. $(".mytext").mouseover(function() { position = $(this).position(); $("#dialog").dialog('option', 'position', [position.top, position.left]); } How can I find the correct position?   I'm trying to execute synonym filtering at query time so that if I search for X, results for Y also show up. I go to where Solr is being run, edit the .txt file and add X, Y on a new line. • Trying to use tcl threads on windows 7 results in access violation.

It was compiled using msvcrt,static,threads and the name of the resulting library is tcl85tsx.lib. The error is: Unhandled exception at 0x77448c39 in main.exe: 0xC0000005: Access violation writing location 0x00000014. The Tcl library works fine, and I can even run a threading script example by loading the Thread extension into it. My assumption is that there is something horribly wrong with a memory violation, but I have no idea what. Any help appreciated.

• With google maps, can you use google's own popup windows?

  I've implemented a google map with points and stuff that uses an address that the user inputs. When you click a point, the popup bubble appears with the name and address in. Often this name and address is a prominent location, as it's used for meetings and things, such as a university. If you google the address yourself on maps.google.co.uk then you get google's own popup bubble, which often has a photo, information, opening hours, links to directions, reviews, etc. etc. I am wondering if there's a way to use that popup dialog instead of my own, where it is available. I can't see anything in the API to do this. I'm using V2 as we support IE6 in a lot of our users, but I've been told recently I can upgrade to V3 should I need functionality from it. Any ideas?

• How does LocationManager work

  I have been going through the google docs for the locationManager API and specifically over the method locationManager.requestLocationUpdates(LocationManager.NETWORK_PROVIDER, 60000, 10, this); In the above line, the manager will check for location updates after each minute and distance of 10 meters. My question is does it actually take both the parameters into consideration? For example if you are driving along how will the method work? Will it start looking for updated locations since you are over the minimum distance between the two updates or will it wait for a minute irrespective? If someone can tell me its behavior, it would be great. Thanks.!!
