  Hi, i need to dump my sql query result into the text file. i have created the following query, DECLARE @cmd VARCHAR(2048) SET @cmd = 'OSQL -localhost -CRN370 ' + ' -UCRN370 -PCRN370' + ' -Q"SELECT TOP 5 GageId FROM EwQMS370..msgages"' + ' -oc:\authors.txt' EXEC master..xp_cmdshell @cmd, NO_OUTPUT The above query created the text file authors.txt. But the content of the file shows the following error message " Error: Conflicting switches : -U and -E " Any help really appreciated

I need the first row inserted every day for the past X days. one of my columns is a timestamp, which i hold the time inserted, and another column is the row id.   I get the following error when I call a stored proc within an execute sql task in SSIS. "Description: Executing the query "Exec up_CallXXX" failed with the following error: "Incorrect syntax near '13'.". Possible failure reasons: Problems with the query, "ResultSet" property not set correctly, parameters not set correctly, or connection not established correctly." The stored proc runs fine when I execute it through SSMS. Does anyone have an idea what is going on.
