Edit my message before posting in Twitter with Twitter API and PHP

I am having a site and I want to add a button in my site that will link to the twitter login page and after login it will post a message to the Twitter home page of the user. I used this code: http://www.matpal.com/2010/12/oauth-access-token-in-twitter-api.html and it works fine. My problem is that before posting the message I want to be able to edit it. So after login I want to see my message in an editing input (like retween do,here: http://www.mobilemarketer.com/cms/news/search/10263.html ) and post it after clicking Tweet. Does anyone know how can I do this? Thanks in advance

Batch folder of images into grayscale using php

Can anyone spot where I'm going wrong here. It should be creating grayscale copies of images in one folder and saving them in another folder. Could it be to do with the way im referencing the file locations. I have a CAPTCHA system in places, and for some things it will always ask for a code, and for other things, it will ask once every 10 minutes. I have had some players use the auto submit feature on Opera, and my CAPTCHA system does stop them. My question is, how can I minimise the amount of times I am asking for a code, but still stop people using this auto-submit?

Kohana PHP - Multiple apps with shared model

I'm using Kohana 3 to create a website that has two applications, an admin application and the actual site frontend. I have separated my folders to have the two applications separated, so the hierarchy looks as follows: /applications /admin /classes /controller /... /site /classes /controller /.... My question is, how I need to go about creating a shared /model folder. Essentially, both the admin and site itself operates on the same data, so the database layer and business logic remains more or less the same. So to me, it makes sense to have a single model folder, sitting outside of the two application folders. Is it possible to achieve the following hierarchy: /applications /model --> Where model sits in a neatly generic location, accessible to all applications /admin /classes /controller /... /site /classes /controller /.... Main post shows the problem as an example scenario. 1) Now the problem is find and replace some string without considering the tags. The tags may shows up within a single word. String may contain multiple word. Tag only appear in the content string or the document. The search phrase never contain any tags. We can easily remove all tags and do some text operation. But here the another problem shows up. 2) The tags must be preserve, even after replacing the text. That is what the example shows. Thank you Again for helping

That happened because i didn't know how to achieve that without eval() function. Cake PHP Routing issue

Hi, I need to do some special routing in cake, but can't for the life of me figure it out. I have a shop controller at /shop, the format of the url will be: /shop/:category/:sub_category/:product_slug In the routing I need to send each part of the url to a different action, for example if the url was just /shop/cakes it would go to the category action of shop. However if the url was /shop/cakes/macaroons or /shop/cakes/fairy it would go to the sub category action on the shop controller. And the the same again for /shop/cakes/macaroons/pistachio would go to the product action on the shop controller. How would I go about this in the routing? Something starting with Router::connect('/shop/:category/:sub_category/:product_slug' ... Or am I way off the mark? Thanks.

PHP: Replace umlauts with closest 7-bit ASCII equivalent in an UTF-8 string

What I want to do is to remove all accents and umlauts from a string, turning "lärm" into "larm" or "andré" into "andre". What I tried to do was to utf8_decode the string and then use strtr on it, but since my source file is saved as UTF-8 file, I can't enter the ISO-8859-15 characters for all umlauts - the editor inserts the UTF-8 characters. Using PHP variables inside SQL statements?

For some reason I can't pass a var inside a mysql statement. I have a function that can be used for multiple tables. So instead of repeating the code I want to change the table that is selected from like so, function show_all_records($table_name) { mysql_query("SELECT * FROM $table_name"); etc, etc... } And to call the function I use show_all_records("some_table") or show_all_records("some_other_table") depending on which table I want to select from at the moment. But it's not working, is this because variables can't be passed through mysql statements?

Hi all, I have this upload code. there are no problem running it individually, but when i try to add into my other codes, it did not get the $_files parameter. Im guessing it was becoz of enctype="multipart/form-data" in the form tag, based on this post: http://stackoverflow.com/questions/1695246/why-file-upload-didnt-work-without-enctype the enctype is needed.
