how to use lightbox2 to show video in my page

Hi I want to show a popup you tube video player in my web page.I downloaded lighbox from the following link: http://ftp.drupal.org/files/projects/lightbox2-6.x-1.11.zip I extracted the zip file into my sites root I added the following lines in my page header: <link type="text/css" rel="stylesheet" media="all" href="/lightbox2/css/lightbox.css?1" / <script type="text/javascript" src="/lightbox2/js/auto_image_handling.js?1"></script> <script type="text/javascript" src="/lightbox2/js/lightbox_video.js?1"></script> <script type="text/javascript" src="/lightbox2/js/lightbox.js?1"></script> and the following in the body <a href="http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0gBtF_awV2o" rel=lightvideo[width:500px;height:400px;] <img src="sample" alt="Live TV" But the video opens up in a new tab and not as a popup.Where am i going wrong?I cant find tutorials for this anywhere, although i have this kind of code in many other pages with popup videos.

CSS "color" vs. "font-color"

Anyone know why CSS provides "color:" for text, but does not have "font-color:" or "text-color:"? Seems very counter-intuitive.. kind of like "text-decoration: bold" rather than "font-style: ". I must be new here. :o) Seriously, does anyone know why/how the w3c came up with such a wide array of CSS names like this?

How to make a css navigation menu "selected" option still clickable

So I have a fairly simple vertical CSS menu based off of UL. <ul class="vertnav"> <li><a href="unselected1.php">Item1</a></li> <li><a href="unselected2.php">Item2</a></li> <li><a href="selected.php" class="vertnavdown">Selected</a></li> </ul> I want three basic colors (say tan for default LI, orange for VERTNAVDOWN, and red for A:HOVER. However I can't seem to get the vertnavdown class to inherit right, and the .vertnav li a:visited overrides it every time. if I use !important to force it through I can't seem to also get the hover to work. Any suggestions? setTimeout() not executing

Bookmarklet fails in IE8

Anyone want to take a stab at why this bookmarklet fails in IE8? It turns all text uppercase in Friefox and Safari. But in IE8, it simply stalls with "loading..." How to start a marquee with JavaScript based on user input?

Hello everybody. I am trying to use JavaScript to start a marquee when a user puts their name into a textbox and then clicks a button. I've got an idea as to how to do it, but my script never fully works. Any help is appreciated! Using Java PDFBox library to write Russian PDF

Hello , I am using a Java library called PDFBox trying to write text to a PDF. It works perfect for English text, but when i tried to write Russian text inside the PDF the letters appeared so strange. It seems the problem is in the font used, but i am not so sure about that, so i hope if anyone could guide me through this. The WinAnsiEncoding source code is : Click here --------------------- Edit on 18 November 2009 After some investigation, i am now sure it is an Encoding problem, this could be solved by defining my own Encoding using the helpful PDFBox class called DictionaryEncoding. treeview binding wpf cannot bind nested property in a class

Hi all New to wpf and therefore struggling a bit. I am putting together a quick demo before we go for the full implementation I have a treeview on the left with Continent Country City structure when a user select the city it should populate some textboxes in a tabcontrol on the right hand side I made it sort of work but cannot make it work with composite objects. How to add data from an NSTextField to a Core Data Attribute without having to press Return or Tab a

I use a sheet with 3 NSTextFields and a Cancel- and OK-Button to edit the attributes of a Core Data Entity. The text entered in the NSTextFields is only updated in the Core Data Entity if i press Tab or Return after writing in the NSTextField or if i focus another NSTextField with the mouse. If i just enter text in an NSTextField and press the OK-Button the entered text is lost. Is there some attribute i can set in Interface Builder to change this NSTextField behaviour?

LaTex, align alignment characters between align blocks

I would like to align two alignment characters between two align blocks so that I can have some text in the middle of a derivation with equations maintaining the horizontal alignment. I could do a workaround by not having text in the middle, however, I would like this functionality. EDIT I would like to have a good amount of text between. Say three to four lines that line up as normal paragraphs. Adding text in the alignment block is the workaround I poorly alluded to.

getSelection & surroundContents across multiple tags

Hi, I've got a script that changes the background colour of text that has been selected. However i'm encountering an issue when the text is selected across multiple elements/tags. The code that i've got is: var text = window.getSelection().getRangeAt(0); var colour = document.createElement("hlight"); colour.style.backgroundColor = "Yellow"; text.surroundContents(colour); And the error being output is: Error: The boundary-points of a range does not meet specific requirements. = NS_ERROR_DOM_RANGE_BAD_BOUNDARYPOINTS_ERR Line: 7 I believe this is to do with the getRange() function though i'm not too sure how to proceed since I am a beginner at javascript. Is there any other way I can replicate what I am trying to achieve? Many thanks.

update div after jeditable submit in rails

i want to submit the text from jeditable, store it in the database and then i don´t want to render the updated text back to jeditable field, i want to update the whole div in which the jeditable field (and maybee other text fields) is. f.e. i change the username via jeditable inplace editor, then i store the changes in the db and now i want to update the complete div which contains the username (in place editor) and also other divs, cause after the username changes, the email changes, too.

But I am still suck on this one: My code is: StreamReader reader = new StreamReader(fDialog.FileName.ToString()); string content = reader.ReadToEnd(); reader.Close(); I am reading in a text file and I want to search for this text and change it (the X and Y value always follow each other in my text file): X17.8Y-1. But this text can also be X16.1Y2.3 (the values will always be different after X and Y) I want to change it to this X17.8Y-1.G54 or X(value)Y(value)G54 My RegEx statement follows but it is not working. content = Regex.Replace(content, @"(X(?:\d*\.)?\d+)*(Y(?:\d*\.)?\d+)", "$1$2G54"); Can someone please modify it for me so it works and will search for X(wildcard) Y(Wildcard) and replace it with X(value)Y(value)G54?

hi, i am a php beginner and have a question for you please. i have a text file with list of first and last names like this: john,smith sam,lewis david,davidson mike,anderson in my sort.php file, it sorts that name list by first name in ascending order with index number, which will display like this: 1. david,davidson 2. john,smith 3. mike,anderson 4. sam,lewis also, in that sort.php file, there's a form for input type=text where you can type index number and a button to delete that index number entered in that text field: <form action="deletename.php" method="post"> <table> <tr valign="top"> <td>Delete: <input type="text" size="2" name="indexnumber" /> </td> <td> <div align="left"> <input type="submit" name="delete" value="Delete" /> </div> </td> </tr> </table> </form> now the question...is there anything i can do in that form to send the value of that index number i entered in the text field? in other word...if i enter 3, what can i do to that form to send the value "mike,anderson" to deletename.php? thanks in advance.

Excel Date to String conversion

Hi I have a Date value like 01/01/2010 14:30:00 in a cell in Excel sheet. I want to convert that Date to Text and also want the Text to look exactly like Date. So a Date value of 01/01/2010 14:30:00 should look like 01/01/2010 14:30:00 but internally it should be Text. How can I do that in Excel? Thank you! Chaitanya

Checking if date parsing is correct

Hello, I have this code for checking whether the Date is OK or not, but it's not ckecking all the cases. For example when text="03/13/2009" as this date doesn't exist in the format "dd/MM/yyyy" it parses the date as 03/01/2010. Is there any way to change this behaviour and getting an exception when I try to parse a Date which is not correct? Asp.net MVC, after using jeditable (Edit in place)

Ok, i can use jeditable to edit-in-place some content on a page and the content will be saved to a database. But whats the best way to re get that text-content from db to show into a place holder? p id="paraNo34" class="editable" --What i will write here so that it will get content from a db's table: [Content], where id=="paraNo34". /p The problem is if i will use some hard coded text like p id="paraNo34" class="editable" --Some text here /p I will able to edit-in-place using jeditable but when i will refresh page it will show the same "Some text here" as its not getting data from db.

SHAREPOINT: Custom Field type property storage defined for custom field

ok here is a great question. I have a set of generic custom fields that are highly configurable from an end user perspective and the configuration is getting overbearing as there are nearly 100 plus items each custom field allows you to perform in the areas of Server/Client Validation, Server/Client Events/Actions, Server/Client Bindings parent/child, display properties for form/control, etc, etc. Right now I'm storing most of these values as "Text" in my field xml for my propertyschema. I'm very familiar with the multi column value, but this is not a complex custom type in sense it's an array. I also considered creating serilzable objects and stuffing them into the text field and then pulling out and de-serilizing them when editing through the field editor or acting on the rules through the custom spfield. In which order is model binding and validation done in ASP.NET MVC 2?

I am using ASP.NET MVC 2, and am using a view-model per view approach. I am also using Automapper to map properties from my domain-model to the view-model. Take this example view-model (with Required data annotation attributes for validation purposes): public class BlogPost_ViewModel { public int Id { get; set; } [Required] public string Title { get; set; } [Required] public string Text { get; set; } } In the post editor view I am using a rich text editor (CKeditor). Because CKeditor is a HTML editor, I ideally need CKeditor to HTMLencode the user's input when the form is submitted, so that ASP.NET's input validation does not complain. This is not a problem as CKeditor has this functionality built in, however I need CKeditor's output decoded before mapping back to the domain object (via Automapper). I am wanting to add a new property (to the view-model above) to solve this, as follows: public string HTMLEncodedText { get { return HTMLEncode(Text); } set { Text = HTMLDecode(value); } } I can then bind this property to CKeditor in the view, but still use Automapper to map the 'Text' property in the controller - all without having to turn input-validation off. My question is: do you know how the model binding and validation process in ASP.NET MVC 2 works? Are all model properties binded before validation is carried out? Or is each individual property get validated when it is being set. I think ideally for my idea to work, all properties need to be set before the model is validated.

Retrieving specific fixtures in Rails

How do I select a set of Comments that meet certain criteria so I can iterate over them afterwards?

How do I size a UITextView to it's content?

Is there a good way to adjust the size of a UITextView to conform to it's content? Say for instance I have a UITextView that contains one line of text: "Hello world" I then add another line of text: "Goodbye world" Is there a good way in Cocoa Touch to get the rect that will hold all of the lines in the text view so that I can adjust the parent view accordingly? As another example, look at the Notes field for events in the Calendar application--note how the cell (and the UITextView it contains) expands to hold all lines of text in the notes string.
