How to open a .pbproj on Xcode?

I downloaded a sample code from the MAC OSX developer library and the code is the format of a .pbproj (Project builder) and im unable to open it on xcode. I have tried the following without any luck:- 1) Rename FancyAbout.pbproj to Old.xcodeproj 2) Open Old.xcodeproj. Xcode will ask you to upgrade it. Save it as FancyAbout.xcodeproj. 3) When the project opens, choose Project Upgrade All Targets in Project to Native... to upgrade to the Xcode build system 4) Build and run. It works. I run a Mac 10.7.3 with Xcode on 4.3.2 Anyone have any suggestions on how i can get this running in xcode? Thanks in advance!

extract payload from tcpflow output

Tcpflow outputs a bunch of files, many of which are HTTP responses from a web server. Inside, they contain HTTP headers, including Content-type: , and other important ones. I'm trying to write a script that can extract just the payload data (i.e. image/jpeg; text/html; et al.) and save it to a file [optional: with an appropriate name and file extension]. The EOL chars are \r\n (CRLF) and so this makes it difficult to use in GNU distros (in my experiences). I've been trying something along the lines of: sed /HTTP/,/^$/d To delete all text from the the beginning of HTTP (incl) to the end of \r\n\r\n (incl) but I have found no luck. I'm looking for help from anyone with good experience in sed and/or awk. Looking at the current 3d games, in some they create near to hundreds of characters, what lead me to think that there are some good 3d character/model creator. To narrow the sample, the game will have characters like the game "Grand Chase". There are some good (and easy) character model creator for to use in XNA development? Free is better, of course, but I will get payed versions too. EDIT: Another question is about the movements of the characters. The movements like walk, jump, sit, etc are "created" by the "character creator tool" or by the game?

Language of variable names? (native foreign language speakers)

We are a spanish speaking development team, we code in django and we all are pretty fluent in english, as all documentation, sample code, APIs, etc come in english. On our last project we chose to name all the variables, class names, modules, files and such in english, even though the whole application was in spanish, we kept a strings file where all our spanish was stored. We did this because it seemed more natural to read the whole code in one language, since keywords, constructs and dependencies have names in english. On new projects we are starting, we are having second thoughts about other teams mantaining our code or just having 3rd parties having to deal with templates or context in spanish. Do you know of any best practice on this matter?

Parameter name: "param" Parameter value: "foo/bar?aaa=bbb&ccc=ddd" (happens to be a url with query parameters) String test = UriBuilder.fromPath("https://dummy.com"). queryParam("param", "foo/bar?aaa=bbb&ccc=ddd"). build().toURL().toString(); The encoded URL string returned is: "https://dummy.com?param=foo/bar?aaa%3Dbbb&ccc%3Dddd" Is this correct ? Should not the character "&" (and may be even "?") be encoded in the parameter value string ? Would not the URL produced be interpreted as follow: One first parameter, name="param", value = "ar?aaa%3Dbbb" followed by a second parameter, name="ccc%3Dddd", without value.

I'm simply interest in the name of the namespace (one namespace per answer and no one person should have more than one answer, if someone else has the same answer as you then just upvote their answer). Try to be as specific as possible (so answering System, isn't helpful). I'm after this information to help new developers focus their attention on the most common .NET namespaces...there are after all thousands of them! To start off mine is almost certainly System.Collections.Generic, I use lists of things everywhere.

Bounce Email handling with PHP??

I am really new to this (not new to php). Here is my scenario: I have 2 emails accounts. [email protected] and [email protected]. I want to send email to all my users with [email protected] but then "reply to" [email protected] (until here, my php script can handle it). When, the email cant be sent, it sent to [email protected], the error message could be 553 (non existent email ...) etc. My question is: How do I direct all those bounce emails (couldn't sent emails) to [email protected] through a handling script to check for the bounce error codes? What programming language should I be for the "handling script"? What would the "handling script" looks like? Can give a sample? OR:(Big Question) What are the procedures I should follow to handle the bounce email ??

PHP File Exists Always False

I have a case where file_exists() is always returning false. My latest attempt was to just test to see if it would return true for $_SERVER["SCRIPT_FILENAME"] and then return the value of the path if it couldn't find the file which it does. The path while not necessarily relevant to solving the problem is: /Users/joe/Workspace/720/app/webroot/index.php I have obviously verified that the file is there, and am not even sure how it couldn't be there since php is serving it up. I should mention this is on an install of OS X Snow Leopard running PHP 5.3.0. Any ideas would be fantastic. How do I handle dojo datagrid cell updates so I can post them back automatically to the server?

I am using dojo datagrid to display my data. When the end user edit the cell values it should be updated in the server using ajax calls(when the focus goes out of the cell). Else, I should have a Edit & update/cancel buttons for each row to handle the same feature. But I don know how to place edit & update buttons inside the grid and capture their events. By default dojo updates only local the store value(client side). how can I save the updated cell values into the server? do we need to write any override methods to do so?? I am new to dojo. Any detailed explanation or sample codes would be much appreciated. Could anyone lend a hand to solve this issue?? Thank you Regards, Raj

Mono Project: How to install Mono framework on Red Hat Linux which is compiled on centOS ?

We have Red Hat Enterprise Linux servers at work place. However we dont have Red Hat Linux desktops. So I used CentOS 5.4 to compile the Mono sources and generated the Mono framework for CentOS and tested with some sample codes and I am satisfied. I want to transfer this compiled framework to Red Hat Enterprise Linux 5. How Can I do that? Do I have to compile the Mono framework statically or do I have to copy the linked libraries as well? I am not familiar with linux much. Any help is highly appreciated.

Freezing a dual-mode (GUI and console) application using cx_Freeze

Hi, I've developed a Python application that runs both in the GUI mode and the console mode. If any arguments are specified, it runs in a console mode else it runs in the GUI mode. I've managed to freeze this using cx_Freeze. I had some problems hiding the black console window that would pop up with wxPython and so I modified my setup.py script like this: import sys from cx_Freeze import setup, Executable base = None if sys.platform == "win32": base = "Win32GUI" setup( name = "simple_PyQt4", version = "0.1", description = "Sample cx_Freeze PyQt4 script", executables = [Executable("PyQt4app.py", base = base)]) This works fine but now when I try to open up my console and run the executable from there, it doesn't output anything. I don't get any errors or messages so it seems that cx_Feeze is redirecting the stdout somewhere else. Is is possible to get it to work with both mode? I am getting an error when trying to use melt() on a dataframe containing Dates

I'd like to melt the dataframe so that in one column i have dates in a second i have username as the variable and finally the value. I'm getting this error: Error in as.Date.numeric(value) : 'origin' must be supplied and while I understand the error I'm not exactly sure how to get around it. How to get all rows but specifc columns from a DataTable?

Currently i am having some problems with getting some data out of a DataTable by selecting all rows, but only some columns. To be a little more descriptive here is a little example: Sample Data | ID | FirstName | LastName | Age | +----+-----------+----------+-----+ | 1 | Alice | Wannabe | 22 | | 2 | Bob | Consumer | 27 | | 3 | Carol | Detector | 25 | What i have So what we got from our GUI is a IEnumerable<DataColumn> selectedColumns and there we'll find two elements (FirstName and LastName). Now i need some result which contains all rows, but only the above two columns (or any other list of selected columns). So far i already used LINQ on several one dimensional objects, but this two dimensional object gives me a little headache. // The hard-coded way Table.AsEnumerable().Select(row => new { FirstName = row[1], LastName = row[2] }); // The flexible way Table.AsEnumerable().Select(row => row ???) But how can i now say, which columns from row should be selected by using my selectedColumns?

How can I create a JTable where the first column is always in the JScrollPane viewport?

What's the best way to set up a table in a JScrollPane such that the first column is always on the screen in the same position regardless of horizontal scrolling and overlaps columns that pass underneath? When the scrollbar is at the farthest left, the columns look normal, but as the user scrolls to the right, the secondary columns (2 and on) move underneath the first until the last column appears on the far right of the viewport? I found a sample taken from Eckstein's "Java Swing" book that sort of does this, but it doesn't allow resizing of the first column. I was thinking of some scheme where one JPanel held a horizontal struct and a table holding the secondary columns and another JPanel which floated over them (fixed regardless of scrolling). The struct would be to keep the viewport range constant as the first column floated around. Ideally I could do it with two tables using the same model, but I'm not sure if the whole idea is a naive solution.

I don't know what they exactly do. What I want is to merge the two of them so I get only one binary. The code compiled in the second Makefile should be the result. I want to add flexibility.cpp and constraints.cpp to the second Makefile, but when I do. I get the problem following problem: flexibility.h:4:26: fatal error: ClpSimplex.hpp: No such file or directory #include "ClpSimplex.hpp" So the compiler can't find the Clp library. I also tried to copy-paste more code from the first Makefile into the second, but it still gives me that same error. Q: Can you please help me with merging the two makefiles or pointing out a more elegant way? Q: In this case is it indeed better to merge the two Makefiles? I also tried to use cmake, but I gave upon that one quickly, because I don't know much about flex and bison.

Is this an F# quotations bug?
