• Advice about insert into SQLCE

  i am inserting about 1943 records by these function into SQLCE.This is my insert function.Parameters come from StringReader(string comes from webservice).This function executes 1943 times and takes about 20 seconds.I dropped table's indexes,what can i do to improve it?I create just 1 time mycomm and sqlceresultset.   I'm calling pipe.communicate from Python's subprocess module from Python 2.6. • Why can I not deploy my ear on Glassfish

  I have standard maven project in netbeans (netbeans' enterprise application), that have 1 war, 1 ejb and 1 ear modules. I want to inject with @Inject my @Stateless from ejb to war (REST class) using its interface. I have added some beans.xml files in correct folders in project, but im still getting this: Error occurred during deployment: Exception while loading the app : WELD-001409 Ambiguous dependencies for type [LogicBean] with qualifiers [@Default] at injection point [[field] @Inject private pl.edu.amu.wmi.kino.rk.rest.ReportRest.bean]. Possible dependencies [[Session bean [class pl.edu.amu.wmi.kino.rk.data.impl.LogicBeanImpl with qualifiers [@Any @Default]; local interfaces are [LogicBean], Session bean [class pl.edu.amu.wmi.kino.rk.data.impl.LogicBeanImpl with qualifiers [@Any @Default]; local interfaces are [LogicBean]]]. Please see server.log for more details. What am i doing wrong? I have searched the whole internet, but could not find the solution. • Fluent NHib causing visual studio 2010 hanging at runtime

  Just installed and migrated a 2008 solution on Vista ultimate 64 and .net 4.0. Everything builds and tests run surprisingly well but I got the hang description below while trying to run the app under SQLite. It turns out that the hang has got something to do when the call is made for FNH to build the session factory during a run, the only feedback I get is that the database wasn't configure properly without any inner exception. The strange part is that the exact code works perfectly under tests. Any clues? Description: A problem caused this program to stop interacting with Windows. • problem with trying to create ssms add-in

  I'm trying to create an add-in for SSMS 2008 and/or 2008 R2 but I've run into a problem straight away. I can get my add-in to work and on SSMS start-up get it to simply show a message box. However, after downloading various code-samples, when trying to reference Microsoft.SqlServer.Management.UI.VSIntegration.ServiceCache I get a null reference exception: Commands2 commands = (Commands2)ServiceCache.ExtensibilityModel.Commands; I get this problem when using SSMS 2008 or SSMS 2008 R2. I'm working on Visual Studio 2010. It's a bit frustrating because I'm keen to learn more about SSMS add-ins but can't seem to get past the few samples out there. Any advice/tips appreciated. Thanks

  After generating a type dynamically and calling TypeBuilder.CreateType, I want to create a delegate that points to a method in the new type. But if I use code like loadedType = typeBuilder.CreateType(); myDelegate = (MyDelegate)Delegate.CreateDelegate( typeof(MyDelegate), methodBuilder); Reusing the methodBuilder as a methodInfo, I get the exception "MethodInfo must be a RuntimeMethodInfo". Now normally I can re-acquire the MethodInfo with MethodInfo mi = loadedType.GetMethod(methodBuilder.Name); myDelegate = (MyDelegate)Delegate.CreateDelegate(typeof(MyDelegate), mi); But my class may contain several overloaded methods with the same name. How do I make sure I get the right one? Do methods have some persistent identifier I could look up in loadedType?

• Downloading PKPass in an iOS custom app from my server

  I've setup a server which returns a PKPass. If I copy the URL to the browser, a pass is shown (both in my Mac and in my iPhone). I don't know what is the bug... The pass seems ok when I download it with Safari and even the code seems ok (there are just 3 simple rows...) Someone experienced with Passkit could help me? • spring web application context is not loaded from jar file in WEB-INF/lib when running tomcat in eclipse

  I am experimenting with spring, maven, and eclipse but stumbling on a weird issue. I am running Eclipse Helios SR1 with the STS (Spring tools suite) plugin which includes the Maven plugin also. What i want to achieve is a spring mvc webapp which uses an application context loaded from a local application context xml file, but also from other application contexts in jar files dependencies included in WEB-INF/lib. What i'd ultimately like to do is have my persistence layer separated in its own jar file but containing its own spring context files with persistence specific configuration (e.g a jpa entityManagerFactory for example). So to experiment with loading resources from jar dependencies, i created a simple maven project from eclipse, which defines an applicationContext.xml file in src/main/resources Inside, i define a bean <bean id="mybean" class="org.test.MyClass" /> and create the class in the org.test package I run mvn-install from eclipse, which generates me a jar file containing my class and the applicationContext.xml file: testproj.jar |_META-INF |_org |_test |_MyClass.class |_applicationContext.xml I then create a spring mvc project from the Spring template projects provided by STS. I have configured an instance of Tomcat 7.0.8 , and also an instance of springSource tc Server within eclipse. Deploying the newly created project on both servers works without problem. I then add my previous project as a maven dependency of the mvc project. the jar file is correctly added in the Maven Dependencies of the project. In the web.xml that is generated, i now want to load the applicationContext.xml from the jar file as well as the existing one generated for the project. If "ApplyPropertyChanges()" is removed, it adds a User. What orders should these methods be called? I don't need to do them separately right? Thanks.

  I'm doing a local install on Mac OSX of Spree (a Ruby-based ecommerce package) following the tutorial on this page. I'm using RVM to run Ruby 1.9.2 and rails 3.0.3. I run "gem install spree" successfully to load spree version 0.40. But when I run "Gem Install Spree" I get the following message. Can anyone help? /Library/Ruby/Site/1.8/rubygems.rb:335:in `bin_path': can't find executable spree for spree-0.40.0 (Gem::Exception) from /usr/bin/spree:19 Also, when I run "Gem list spree" I get an empty list.

  I'm aware that an ArrayList is probably not the way to go with this particular situation, but humor me and help me lose this headache. I have a constructor class like follows: class Peoples { public string LastName; public string FirstName; public Peoples(string lastName, string firstName) { LastName = lastName; FirstName = firstName; } } And I'm trying to build an ArrayList to build a collection by calling on this constructor. However, I can't seem to find a way to build the ArrayList properly when I use this constructor. I have figured it out with an Array, but not an ArrayList. I have been messing with this to try to build my ArrayList: ArrayList people = new ArrayList(); people[0] = new Peoples("Bar", "Foo"); people[1] = new Peoples("Quirk", "Baz"); people[2] = new Peopls("Get", "Gad"); My indexing is apparently out of range according to the exception I get.

I use FMDB to wrap SQLite in my app. I haven't found any docs about the use of methods begin, beginUpdates, commit, finalize, etc. I face some problems in my apps which i think are caused by the way i use transactions. • Out of Memory on Update or Delete of Service Reference

  I have a Service Reference for a WCF project that has just over a hundred endpoints in my ServiceHost web.config. Every time I attempt to update or delete the Service Reference, it fails with an out of memory exception. I am running Vista Ultimate SP2 64-bit with 8GB RAM. I can work around it by going outside the project and deleting the Service References folder, then coming back in and re-adding the Reference. Is this the only workaround that you know of? Thanks!

  I would like to show "Suggestions" in my product listing in Magento. I made an attribute "Suggestion" which is Yes/No and global active. Now in the listing I would like to show the suggestions first, then some text and stuff, and then the rest of products. I tried it like this: $_productCollection=$this->getLoadedProductCollection() /* .... */ $_productCollection->clear()->addAttributeToFilter('suggestion', 1)->load(); But this ends in an exception: You cannot define a correlation name '_price_rule' more than once Now the question is, how to solve this?

• The .NET ActiveX component with WPF content can't be loaded by non MFC app

  I have a legacy delphi program and want to add some content implemented with WPF. So I encapsulate the WPF control with a .NET/ActiveX interop technology. That means something like: [ComRegisterFunction()] public static void RegisterClass(string key); [ComUnregisterFunction()] public static void UnregisterClass(string key); The activeX component is a WinForms User Control and the WPF materials are attached to an ElemenHost in this User Control. It works fine if the host app of this ActiveX is a MFC program even without /clr switch. But my legacy app is a delphi program, and it always throw a stackoverflow exception within the constructor of my WPF user control as the program be started. I have no clue, Google is no help. and it has puzzled me for days.

• Loading remote assembly from the webservice with reflection

  I am using Assembly.LoadFrom within a web service to load assemblies from a web site. but the problem is it is in the virutal directory and the server.mappath parses the url like \share\mydll.dll and loadform method failed. Is there anyway to reference dll from the remote location? I've tried passing the url (http:\localhost\downloadable\mydll.dll) and again it got "Could not load file or assembly 'http:\localhost\downloadable\mydll.dll' or one of its dependencies. HTTP download of assemblies has been disabled for this appdomain. (Exception from HRESULT: 0x80131048)"

  Hello all, I can't find what's going on with the following nHibernate HQL. here's my VB.Net code: Return _Session.GetNamedQuery("PersonAnthroSummary").SetInt32(0, 2).UniqueResult() My Named Query: <sql-query name="PersonAnthroSummary"> select New PersonAnthroSummary( Anthro.Height, Anthro.Weight ) from PersonAnthroContact as Anthro where Anthro.ID = ? </sql-query> and i am importing the DTO class: <import class="xxxxxxx.DataServices.PersonAnthroSummary, xxxxxxxxx.DataServices"/> PersonAnthroSummary has a constructor that will take height and weight arguments. when i test this, nHibernate throwing following exception: {"Incorrect syntax near 'Anthro'."} and generated QueryString is: "select New PersonAnthroSummary( Anthro.Height, Anthro.Weight ) from PersonAnthroContact as Anthro where Anthro.ID = @p0" Can some one tell me what i'm doing wrong here?
