  • New to CakePHP -> How To Add Columns To a MySQL Table?

    I had a website made for me a long time ago, and the programmer did it in CakePHP. I'm now editing his scripts. I added a couple columns to a table, and found that doing saveField() on the new column does not do anything. How do I make CakePHP recognize the new columns? I'd appreciate your help. I'm not too familiar with CakePHP, so please go easy on me =)

  • LaTeX, Two columns, Listings and Numbers

    Hi, I'm trying to get a report done and I have a small problem with the twocolums and the line numbering in listings. The text is on two columns, the listings can be on the two columns as well. If I put the number=left, the space between the columns is not sufficient and the text from the first column is written over. Is there any way to ask the listings to put the line numbers "outside" ?     I've created a jquery table that from time to time needs to be cleared and the re-populated, my clear method is this: //Clear table content before repopulating values $('#tabela_dash2_maquinas .real-content table tr:gt(0)').remove(); Now i'm trying to use tablesorter to sort a specific column, but my problem is that when I enable the tablesorter: //Initialize tablesorter $("table").tablesorter(); The table clearing method is not working anymore, it just keeps adding the new data with the old data, creating a lot of repeated information. I tried the following: class Product < ActiveRecord::Base attr_accessor :my_price validates_numericality_of :customer_price, :greater_than_or_equal_to => my_price ... end (customer_price is a column in the Products table in the database, while my_price isn't.) Now First I am finding the rows in that table like var rows = table.Descendants("tr"); then I find the cell data for each row like foreach(var row in rows) { string rowInnerText = row.InnerText; } That gives me the cell data.But with no spaces between them like NameAdressPhone No but I want the innertext like Name Address Phone No means where there is td tag I want to keep there one space between different column cell.

    Imagine a have a table with a column named status: status ------ A A A B C C D D D How can I count how many rows have A, how many rows have B etc? this kind of output: A |B |C |D |E ------------------ 3 |1 |2 |3 |0 As for E = O , this will always be A,B,C,D and E Output should be one row (thus 1 query). When doing a distinct count (most returning answer on my searches, it does return how many different elements there are, 4 in this case...)
