  I understand the idea of generating a form token and storing it in a session, and also putting it as a hidden input in my forms. But how could I make this work if I have pages with multiple forms, is it still safe to use the same token for each form? And I still feel weary about bots and stuff on my website, can these form tokens really safely replace CAPTCHAs?

  I have a multidimensional array and I'm trying to find out how to simply "echo" the elements of the array. The depth of the array is not known, so it could be deeply nested. So my string looks like this; $str = 'one,two,one,five,seven,bag,tea'; I can do it be exploding the string to values and then compare, but I think it will be slow. what about preg_replace() will it be faster?   Let's assume I have an array of object properties I'd like to access: $properties = array('foo', 'bar'); I'd like to loop through the object and access these properties dynamically (specifically, I'm trying to dynamically handle missing JSON elements based on an array of expected elements): foreach ($data as $item) { foreach ($properties as $property) { if (empty($item->{$property})) { // Do something } } } Each $item in $data should have the properties 'foo' and 'bar'. If empty(), I'll handle them. I'm trying to get the loop (in line 3) to access $item-{'foo'} and $item-{'bar'}, but it's not working. Any idea why? Thanks!

  I think there is a bug in this filter_var or maybe I'm doing something wrong: Try this: $options = array( 'options' => array( 'default' => 3, 'min_range' => 1000.0, 'max_range' => 5000.6, ) ); $VariableValue2 = 5698; $VariableValue4 = 5698.2; $chicco3 = filter_var($VariableValue2, FILTER_VALIDATE_INT, $options); $chicco4 = filter_var($VariableValue4, FILTER_VALIDATE_FLOAT, $options); It suppose to don't validate it... Infact the value: 5698 is greater than 5000.6!!!! But with FILTER_VALIDATE_INT it work FINE!! It return 3 that is the default value in case it don't validate it... PERFECT... Instead, with FILTER_VALIDATE_FLOAT it validate it... It return 5698.2!!! I'm doing something wrong??? Thank you to everybody... Samuele

  I'm new to PHP =) Right now I am using PHP includes for my site template. I have my header, containing all my <head></head> info. What I want to do is write a code that will take the contents of the <h1></h1> tag from the page, and echo it into the <title></title> tag in my header.php include. I got the PHP Simple HTML DOM Parser from here: http://simplehtmldom.sourceforge.net/, and I found a code (I forget where in all my googling) that goes like this: <?php $url = (!empty($_SERVER['HTTPS'])) ?   I have a tabled view in a while loop, where a user can view information on books. For example, book ISBN, book name, read status... Basically, when the user sets their 'readstatus' to 'complete' I want that specific table row to become grey! The logic is very straight forward, however I can't get my IF statement to recognise this: $readstatus = $_GET['readstatus']; if ($readstatus == 'complete') { echo '<tr class="completed">'; } else if ($readstatus != 'complete') { echo '<tr class="reading">'; } I'm obviously doing something wrong here, but all I need is the CSS class of the table row to change if the value of 'readstatus' = 'complete', if not, then output the default CSS table row color ('reading') Should I be putting $result as the variable or something?
