• OS X 10.6 won't automatically connect to wireless even though remember network is checked

  Upgraded to 10.6 recently. 10.5 would connect to my home network whenever I was home. 10.6 constantly pops up the network selection dialog and asks me what network I want to join. I click my home network and the password is already entered (so it "remembers" the network). "Remember network" is checked... but it does it every time. How do I get 10.6 to connect to networks automatically whenever it sees them?

  When we try to connect to our file server with the new computer, it denies access. The computer is joined to the domain and I can see it on active directory. We need to connect to the file server for printing and terminal services. We have had this happen before and found that reinstalling Windows will fix the problem but I would like a speedier solution. any help would be appreciated.

  How does one add a workstation account to the agsadmin group on the server? Does this require both machines to be on the same Windows domain? A colleague cannot connect via ArcCatalog but I don't know how to add his account to the group because the account does not exist on the server.   This started happening when I installed Windows 7. I've tried with Filezilla and with the FireFTP Firefox plugin, and I could never connect. Filezilla gave the error message "ECONNREFUSED - Connection refused by server". I tried disabling the Windows Firewall, but no luck. Any ideas on what might be causing this? I just discovered that I can connect with web services like net2ftp, but not with FTP clients.
