  I've a problem that I can't find the solution of it in web. I have a blog that has PR 1 and it's subdomain "aaaa.domain.com" that "domain.com" is a blog server. and now i buy a domain "newdomain.com" i want tell google webmaster to redirect old subdomain to this new domain and load trafic to my new domane. but i can't access .htccss to redirect 301. all thing that i can do is put html code in the html . now how can i do this. when i use "Change of Address" in goole webmaster it say:"Restricted to root level domains only" . sorry for bad English.

• Markup format or script for data files?

  The game I'm designing will be mainly written in a high level scripting language (leaning towards either Lua or Squirrel) with a C++ core. In addition to scripts I'm also going to need different data files. Many data files will be for static information such as graphical assets and monster types. I'd also want to create and update data files at runtime for user information like option settings and game saves. Can I get away with using plain script files (i.e. .lua or .nut files) for my data files, or is it better to use dedicated markup formats like XML or YAML? If I use script files, loaded separately from my true scripts, then I wouldn't need an extra library to read those files. Scripting languages like Lua also have table syntax that lend themselves towards data definition. On the other hand I'd have to write my own schema check code. These languages also don't seem to support serialization "out of the box" like the markup format libraries do.

  Use Case: Photos are organised in a folder structure by date (by software lightroom/picasa) Want to run a local webserver to host a web gallery from (already know how to run lamp etc) I want to be able to attach metadata to the photos (probably through a database not residing in the photos folder) such that they can be tagged/categoried/albumed without affecting the original photos I want to be able to assign permissions to different albums to set users I want the software to watch the photo source folder for changes so that new photos are indexed ready for applying metadata and albums. I'd like the software to handle the rendering of numerous file types (photo formats) as well as video formatts I am language agnostic so php/python heck even c#, just want software that forfills the requirements. The main reason I am asking this question here as I am unsure what this software would even be called so google searching is quite difficult! Thanks for reading.

For example, game.of.thrones.s09.e06.mpg and game.of.thrones.s09.e06.srt Turn on my Smart-TV, connect to my DLNA Media Server (installed on my PC) Play game.of.thrones.s09.e06.mpg file and see the subtitles overlapped.   I recently installed Ubuntu 13.04 on my PC. I want to install Microsoft Visual Studio 2010, so I tried to install WINE. I tried to install from the Terminal and from the Software Center. Both times, it failed in the middle of process. This is the error.   I'm analyzing web server logs both in Apache and IIS log formats. I want to find the evidence for automatic browsing, like web robots, spiders, bots, etc. I used python robot-detection 0.2.8 for detecting robots in my log files, but I know there may be other robots (automatic programs) which have traversed through the web site but robot-detection can not identify. So I want to ask: Are there any specific clues that can be found in log files that human users do not leave but automated software would? Do they follow a specific navigation pattern? I saw some requests for favicon.ico - does this implicate that it is a automatic browsing?. I found this article and this question with some valuable points.

• Can't mount data DVD using 12.04

  I cannot mount a data DVD using Ubuntu 12.04. I can read the DVD using a different OS, so the DVD is not the problem. I can read other CDs using Ubuntu. • How to determine the version and origin of proprietary drivers installed by Additional Drivers?

  How can I tell which version and from which repository the Additional Drivers tool is trying to install the fglrx graphics driver? It says that I have a different version of the driver in use. I installed the driver from maverick/restricted and apt-cache tells me it's from a regular Ubuntu mirror. The installed version is the same as the candidate version. Can I get Additional Drivers to tell me what it would install if I activated the driver through it? Is it possible Additional Drivers just assumes it's a different version since it was installed by a different process?

• Wireless connect- Webcam activation- MBR repair/rebuild

  Evening: I've NEVER had so much difficulty with Ubuntu. I got "Ubuntu Made Easy" and couldn't believe it hasn't done a damn thing to help solve the problems!!! #1. Since install of 12.04 I haven't been able to connect to wireless. Have done everything I can find/think of. Laptop indicates it's receiving wireless. Ran all updates, restricted extras, etc. NOTHING!! Tried to find how to activate built-in webcam (it worked when I installed O.S.) NOTHING; tried to find MBR repair/rebuild terminal command.. NOTHING!!! The book has has been useless, so far!! I really have to solve these problems, otherwise laptop and UBUNTU are worthless!!! • How can I make a 32 bit render target with a 16 bit alpha channel in DirectX?

  I want to create a render target that is 32-bit, with 16 bits each for alpha and luminance. The closest surface formats I can find in the DirectX SDK are: D3DFMT_A8L8 // 16-bit using 8 bits each for alpha and luminance. D3DFMT_G16R16F // 32-bit float format using 16 bits for the red channel and 16 bits for the green channel. But I don't think either of these will work, since D3DFMT_A8L8 doesn't have the precision and D3DFMT_G16R16F doesn't have an alpha channel (I need a separate blend state for alpha). How can I create a render target that allows a separate blend state for luminance and alpha, with 16 bit precision on each channel, that doesn't exceed 32 bits per pixel?

• How to script a reinstall (apt repo's and installed packages)

  I need to wipe my hard drive and reinstall Ubuntu. /home is on a separate partition, so I can back that up to a backup drive, then copy it back to the wiped drive, install ubuntu, and point it at the existing /home, no problem. However, I also want to script a reinstall of all my apt repo's and the packages I currently have installed, so I don't have to waste hours doing that manually. Anyone know a good way to do this? PS - At least, I'm pretty sure I have to wipe the drive. Need to install Windows 7, and only have an HP system restore disk that formats the whole drive, and not a legit Windows 7 install disk that lets me install on a single partition. If somebody know a way to trick the system restore disk to install only to a single partition, I'd love to hear it.

In order to be really useful, such application should have: -basic CRM functionality to track who is providing the ads -multilingual multi country support: have the ability to specify for the same ad, different versions for multiple languages/countries -predefined ad formats (google Ads, flash ads...) and sizes with corresponding PHP helpers so as to insert in the HTML code the necessary markup to properly integrate the ad. Ideally if that application could be desgined for Zend Framework that would be awesome (but I think I'm dreaming at this point).

• How do I use Brasero to burn a movie in DVD format?

  I have to present an assessment for my Uni course in the form of a DVD movie (so it can be played on a DVD player) but so far, Brasero doesn't seem to be doing it. For example, I left it for over an hour today (as it said it was burning) and the DVD came out empty. Other times, it flat out says it cannot burn the DVD. I am running Ubuntu 10.10, I have ubuntu restricted extras installed and the Medibuntu packages that allow me to watch DVDs. Any ideas?

• Is it possible to give an animated GIF a transparent background?

  I'm making a Fire Emblem-esque game. There are very cute 2D frames I made for each character, and, like a game like Fire Emblem, I want these characters to animate constantly. To circumvent the graphics programming involved I came up with a novel idea! I would make each character an animated gif, and only in special conditions ever halt their constant movement - in that case just change what image is being displayed. Simple enough. But I have a dilemma - I want the background of my .gifs to be transparent (so that the "grass" behind each character naturally shows, as per the screenshot - which has them as still images with transparent backgrounds). I know how to make a background transparent in numerous tools (GIMP, Photoshop). But it seems every .gif creator replaces the transparent background with something and I can't edit it back to transparent. Is it possible to have a .gif with a transparent "background"? Perhaps my knowledge of file formats is limiting me here.

  Possible Duplicate: Cross-Platform Audio API Suggestions What options are out there these days for audio playback/mixing in C++? Primarily for Windows, but portability (particularly to Mac and iOS) would be desirable. For a small indie game, potentially commercial, though - so I'm looking for something free/low-cost. My requirements are fairly basic - I don't need 3D sound, or many-channels - simple stereo is fine. Just need to be able to mix sound effects and a music stream, maybe decoding one or more compressed audio formats (.ogg/.mp3 etc), with all the basic controls over looping, pitch, volume, etc. Is OpenAL more-or-less the standard choice, or are there other good options out there?
