    I need to access to a value in a checkbox, the atribute value has content, so i need to place the id somewhere else i created a label, but i have not access to that value alert(check[i].label); // doesnt work where else can i place a value in checkbox. Please dont write that i can do this <input type='checkbox' id='bla' name='mybla' vlaue='myvalue'> Hy Where can i place some other values ?   • How access Ajax generated source ?

    Hello everyone, I created a php file that return dynamically generated text. This text is returned with a div id. When I retrieve that text using Ajax as responseText. I would like to access the properties of that div using javascript, which is impossible since that new text is not added to the DOM. My question is, how can i access that div using either raw javascript or frameworks (am somewhat familiar with jQuery) ? It may be useful to note that the div can be accessed using CSS. Thank you.

  • ipfw is blocking access to a script

    I need to figure out how to troubleshoot why ipfw is blocking my script. This script parses out some rss feeds over the net. I have about 10 different feed urls. About 5 or 6 of these urls are returning xml, the others are timing out. If I turn the firewall off, they will all work. The issue I'm having is that I have no idea what port I need to open for the urls that are timing out. Is there a command that will show me this?

  • Windows service thread not updating database until complete

    I have a windows service with a FileSystemWatcher. When a new file is dropped in my folder a new thread is created, started, and I begin processing the file. Throughout this process I am making updates to the database (Linq to SQL) to keep track of the file's processing progress. Problem is none of my database updates are reflected throughout the process, just an update after everything has been completed. Any ideas? Note: when doing dev/testing my code was in an aspx page and worked great, but when I put it in a windows service I no longer get the progress updates. Thanks!

  • Access Domain over Wireless

    I have an active directory server and all hard wired clients connect perfectly fine. However any wireless clients do not recognize that they are connected to the domain, despite the dns server being appropriately set to the domain controller for both wired and wireless connections. Also - both wired and wireless clients are on the same subnet. I am using a Verizon food actiontec router. What am I missing? For instance, this is the same computer connected first via an Ethernet cable and second via the wireless.

    I have some experience with multithread programming under Linux (C/C++ & POSIX threads), however most obvious cases are sometimes very complicated. I have several static constant variables (global and function local) in my code, can I access them simultaneously from multiple threads without using mutexes? Because I don't modify them it should be ok, but it's always better to ask. I have to do heavy speed optimization, so even as fast operations as mutex lock/unlock are quite expensive for me, especially because my application is going to access these variables form long loops.

    I have been reading about app engine but I still dont know what I can and cant do with it in a android application. Basically what I want to do is be able to create/manage a database in the cloud that the app can pull down and update the local database if needed. Creation and managing would be done outside of the app by me. I dont know much about all of this as I am just getting started with it but I already have an application made, I just want to add this feature to it. I have never written any sort of Web Service calls or anything either but I have used them to get data and such Can this be done? Any tutorials out there to help me out?

  • Profile not loaded correctly (Cannot access registry)

    Every so often, I log on and get the Following Message: User profile was not loaded correctly. You have been logged on with a temporary profile. Changes you make to this profile will be lost when you log off. Please see the event log for details or contact your administrator This almost always happens when somebody else has been on the computer for a while, and then I log on. This never used to happen, but now it happens pretty often. My profile is not permanently corrupted, all I have to do is restart my computer, but this annoys me, and I would like to fix it. I was curios about the reason of this cause, so I looked into the Event Log, and found the root of the problem was the ntuser.dat file in the profile that I was logging on to was locked at logon time. This resulted in the current users registry not being loaded, resulting in failure to load the profile. I just found a microsoft article that mentions this exact issue: http://support.microsoft.com/kb/960464/ The problem is that I do not want to delete this profile; and this issue does not come up every time that I log on, only when somebody else has been on a long time before me. What could be locking this file? Is there any way to get a process list without logging on so that I can identify which process has the file locked? Any other suggestions?

When i'm trying to get into foobar.com/dir providing valid username/password pair i get 403 forbidden page instead of that directory contents. www.foobar.com/dir has 777 rights, .httpaswd is chmoded 644. But i can't figure out why i am still not seeing contents. Please, give me a hint.   • Unable to use getInt() but able to use getString() for a sqlite database

    I am using a cursor to access a sqlite database I have in my app. I am having trouble using the .getInt() on my database. My database is pre-created, and I have a few cursors that perform queries to interface with the information. Several of the columns in one of the tables are set as INTEGER type. I realize that sqlite has no built in check to make sure columns are indeed INT. However, when retrieving the data, I can use the .getString() function without any issues, but calling .getInt() causes the app to crash. Below is the relevant code. If I am missing anything, please let me know, and I'll add it in. Any help is greatly appreciated. Thank you very much.     Hello, I have a xml where I got some empty complex elements and I need to access the attribute values of this element. <test> <a> <abc-metadata name="testData" value="This is a test"/> </a> </test> I want to get hold of the 'testData' and 'This is a test' values. I do read the document and I tried accessing it document.getElementsByTagName . I am sure there is some way to access attributes of element tags but somehow it throws me nullpointer exception.   • Converting files to blob to save in database

    I have an old user site that we are currently updating. The site's users have previously uploaded profile pics that are stored in a directory. I am now wanting to keep these profile images in the database, (easy to backup all data) but am having trouble working out how to do it. There are a lot of tutorials talking about do ing this from files that have just been uploaded and using the tmp name etc, but how can I re-create with files that have already been uploaded? I have looked into $data = file_get_contents($filename); Which seems to create a binary file, but doesn't seem to save in database with: mysql_query("UPDATE profiles SET company_logo = mysql_real_escape_string('".$data."')
