  • wp e-commerce php modification

    - by user1015687
    Here are a few lines of code from a wordpress plugin (WP E-commerce) that calculate the price. Now what i want is that if 'cart_item' are more than 3 in quantity then the price should be (number of items * 4) else the function should work as it is listed below. Thnks for help. function calculate_subtotal($for_shipping = false) { 1047 global $wpdb; 1048 if($for_shipping == true ) { 1049 $total = 0; 1050 foreach($this->cart_items as $key => $cart_item) { 1051 if($cart_item->uses_shipping == 1) { 1052 $total += $cart_item->total_price; 1053 } 1054 } 1055 } else { 1056 $total = 0; 1057 if($this->subtotal == null) { 1058 foreach($this->cart_items as $key => $cart_item) { 1059 $total += $cart_item->total_price; 1060 } 1061 $this->subtotal = $total; 1062 } else { 1063 $total = $this->subtotal; 1064 } 1065 } 1066 return $total; 1067 }

  • Best way to utilise an include file which just includes an array in PHP

    - by alex
    Kohana's config files look like this.. here is an example of a database config file (simplified) return array( 'dbhost' => 'localhost', 'user' => 'Tom_Jones' ); I've also got a CMS which wants the connection details. Whilst the CMS uses a different user (with more rights), I'd like to know the best way to include this file and get the data out of it (so as to not repeat myself for hostname and dbname). I haven't thought up of any elegant solutions yet and have not yet dug around Kohana to see how it does it. It's late Friday here so it's probably really obvious to everyone except me. UPDATE My apologies, I forgot to include that this is using Kohana 3!

  • PHP - Setting Database Info

    - by user1710648
    First off, I'm sorry if this shows no code which is not what Stack Overflow is about..But I have no clue where to go on this. I have a basic CMS I made, and I am trying to distribute it. I want to make it so that upon going to /cms/install for example, they set the database info, and different info to integrate into the CMS. Now my issue is, what would be the best method to allow the user to store that database info? A cookie seems to not be the right way..Could I store database info inside of a database? Not too sure where to go on this. More or less. What is the best way to temporarily store the database information the user gave before arrival of the full CMS.

  • php array problem ..need expert

    - by user295189
    I have tried this in another post but trying my luck again. My current array that I am making produce a different result than I am wanting. I want to have this kind of out put Row: 0: Column: 1: ID 1 Row: 1: Column: 1: ID 1 Row: 0: Column: 2: ID 2 Row: 1: Column: 2: ID 2 Row: 2: Column: 2: ID 2 Row: 3: Column: 2: ID 2 Row: 0: Column: 3: ID 3 Row: 1: Column: 3: ID 3 As you can see the Rows and columns change based on the ID. So if the ID is same it just go to next row in the same column. However if id is changed it goes to next column and rows start. Currently I my code looks like this for($i=0;$i<count($pv->rawData); $i++) { $relative=0; $relativeTypeID = -1; if ($pv->rawData[$i]->relativeTypeID != $relativeTypeID) { $relativeTypeID = $pv->rawData[$i]->relativeTypeID; $iTypeCount++; } if(!empty($pv->rawData[$i]->description)) { $pv->results[$i][$iTypeCount][0] = $pv->rawData[$i]->description; echo "Row: ".$i.": Column: ".$iTypeCount.": ID".$relativeTypeID." <br>"; } } It gives me the following output Row: 0: Column: 1: ID1 Row: 1: Column: 2: ID1 Row: 2: Column: 3: ID2 Row: 3: Column: 4: ID2 Row: 4: Column: 5: ID2 Row: 5: Column: 6: ID2 Row: 6: Column: 7: ID2 Row: 7: Column: 8: ID2 Row: 8: Column: 9: ID2 Row: 9: Column: 10: ID2 Row: 10: Column: 11: ID2 Row: 11: Column: 12: ID2 Row: 12: Column: 13: ID2 …. …. As you can see the Row and Columns are changing but not with ID number. I appreciate your help Thanks

  • Processing large (over 1 Gig) files in PHP using stream_filter_*

    - by mike
    $fp_src=fopen('file','r'); $filter = stream_filter_prepend($fp_src, 'convert.iconv.ISO-8859-1/UTF-8'); while(fread($fp_src,4096)){ ++$count; if($count%1000==0) print ftell($fp_src)."\n"; } When I run this the script ends up consuming ~ 200 MB of RAM after going through just 35MB of the file. Running it without the stream_filter zips right through with a constant memory footprint of ~10 MB. What gives?

  • Super strange PHP error

    - by Industrial
    Hi everyone, When trying memcache:get, I'll get the following error message back: Message: Memcache::get() [memcache.get]: Server localhost (tcp 11211) failed with: Failed reading line from stream (0) I run a Windows 32bit test environment (XP) and here's how my code looks: function getMulti(array $keys) { $items = $this->memcache->get($keys); return $items; } My memcache servers are two local computers in the LAN that my dev. environment is connected to. Sure, I can turn the error logging off or just put an @ before the get function call, but that doesnt solve this issue. What can I do? Thanks a lot!

  • Problem with unlink() in php!

    - by Holicreature
    I'm creating a temp image always named 1.png under specific folder and once i read the image_contents and process, i use unlink() to delete that specific image from that folder. But sometimes the image file is not deleted and the same image is file is read and processed. That script is working otherwise fine... There is no permission related issues , as the files are deleted sometimes... Will there be any issue when the script is repeatedly called and the image with the name is already present and not deleted etc.. ??? Please suggest me what would be the problem extension_loaded('ffmpeg'); $max_width = 120; $max_height = 72; $path ="/home/fff99/public_html/temp/"; ..... ..... $nname = "/home/friend99/public_html/temp/".$imgname; $fileo = fopen($nname,"rb"); if($fileo) { $imgData = addslashes(file_get_contents($nname)); .... ... .. } unlink('$nname');

  • How to assign variable dynamically to php list function

    - by ravisoni
    What I am doing that I want to generate a list based on how many items are in an array, so I have counted the items and loop over them, create a number based var and construct a string $var which contains $a1,$a2.... and assigns the $var to list list($var) and tried to access $a1 but it gives me the error "Undefined variable: a1" Is there any other way to do it? Here is my code: $arr = array('1','2','3'); $listsize = count($arr); $var=''; for($i=1;$i<=$listsize;$i++){ $var.='$a'.$i; if($i!=$listsize){ $var.=','; } } list($var) = $arr; echo $a1;

  • Problem with php GD image not creating

    - by ThinkingInBits
    With the following code, my browser is returning 'image not created or saved'. I assure you the location of the image exists. So the line within the if statement is returning false for some reason, and yes GD is installed. Any ideas? if ($img = @imagecreatefromjpeg("/var/www/images/upload/1/1.jpg")) { $image_width = imagesx($img); $image_height = imagesy($img); $target_width = 150; $target_height = 150; if ($image_width > $image_height) { $percentage = ($target_width / $image_width); } else { $percentage = ($target_height / $image_height); } $new_image_width = round($image_width * $percentage); $new_image_height = round($image_height * $percentage); $imgResized = imagecreatetruecolor($new_image_width, $new_image_height); imagecopyresampled($imgResized, $img, 0, 0, 0, 0, $new_image_width, $new_image_height, $image_width, $image_height); imagejpeg($imgResized, $this->path, 100); imagedestroy($img); imagedestroy($imgResized); $this->storeThumbnailLocation(); } else { die ("image was not created or saved"); }

  • PHP Detect Pages Genre/Category

    - by Alexwhin
    Hey, I was wondering if their was any sort of way to detect a pages genre/category. Possibly their is a way to find keywords or something? Unfortunately I don't have any idea so far, so I don't have any code to show you. But if anybody has any ideas at all, let me know. Thanks! EDIT @Nican Perhaps their is a way to set, let's say 10 category's (Entertainment, Funny, Tech). Then creating keywords for these category's (Funny = Laughter, Funny, Joke etc). Then searching through a webpage (maybe using a cUrl) for these keywords and assigning it to the right category. Hope that makes sense.
