    with the help of some tutorials, i wrote a little piece of code, to display me a string, after booting from my floppy. my problem is now, that dont understand some lines, were i hope u can help me, or just tell me, if im right. code: mov ax, 07C0h add ax, 288 ; (512 + 4096) / 16 = 288 mov ss, ax mov sp, 4096 mov ax, 07C0h mov ds, ax line: start the program @ the adress 07C0h (could i change this?)     How do I pass commands (shell) to a persistent SSH tunnel rather than open a connection for every instance? I have a Python scraper running on a client server which passes URL variables and shell commands to a remote host via a reverse tunnel (forwarded port), so that the URL's are then executed on the host (python fabric ssh localhost:12345 'browser open URL'). I could make the reverse tunnel persistent but how do I echo the url/command to the session? Update - ControlMaster (built into SSH) solves this one.

  • How to stop a random ramp in FCGI Processes Killing the server

    So got the below earlier to day... Around that time the logs show a ramp in processes(600) and associated memory (1.2g), cpu usage load average (80) untill the server gave out. Server had to be hard reset by host as there was no ssh or plesk panel access. Fast CGI is configured as below and is setup for one high use site. As I understand it FcgidMaxProcesses 20 should protect against what happen but has not. I've read many forums with differing answers and references to many different fcgi directives, but have found nothing conclusive. Any one got some definitive answers on how to stop this sort of server process ramping and subsequent server failure? If you need more info let me know.     Hello, At moment my main layout consists of vertically oriented stack panel and it looks like this: Root StackPanel StackPanel - fixed Height 150 (horizontal orientation) StackPanel - relative Height must be behalf of free space left on screen (but at least 150 px). Used by Telerik GridView Control, if I don't specify Height or MaxHeight Telerik GridView Height becomes very large and does not fit my window. StackPanel - fixed Height 100 (horizontal orientation) StackPanel - relative Height must be half of free space left on screen (but at least 150 px). Used by Telerik GridView Control, if I don't specify Height or MaxHeight Telerik GridView Height becomes very large and does not fit my window. StackPanel - fixed Height 100 (horizontal orientation) The view must totally fit available screen size. The problem is that I don't understand how to make certain areas of my view resize depending on available screen size. Is there is easy way to solve it, or should I be binding to Window height property and doing math? Thank You very much!

    I plan to run 32-bit Windows XP on a workstation with dual processors, based on Intel's Nehalem microarchitecture, and triple channel RAM. Even though XP is limited to 4 GB of RAM, my understanding is that it will function with more than 4 GB installed, but will only expose 4 GB (or slightly less). My question is: Assuming that 6 GB of RAM is installed in six 1 GB modules, which physical 4 GB will Windows actually map into its address space? In particular: Will it use all six 1 GB modules, taking advantage of all memory channels? (My guess is yes, and that the mapping to individual modules within a group happens in hardware.) Will it map 2 GB of address space to each of the two NUMA nodes (as each processor has it's own memory interface), or will one processor get fast access to 3 GB of RAM, while the other only has 1 GB? How do I see currently open connections to a PostgreSQL server, particularly those using a specific database? Ideally I'd like to see what command is executing there as well. Basically, I'm looking for something equivalent to the "Current Activity" view in MSSQL.

    When you google for these keywords: crtaci.info First result is my site, www.crtaci.info. Now, i have no idea what is happening, but when you click on that search result sometimes it redirects you to tinyurl4.info: I know in this image user is using IE, but both me on win7 and firefox and IE8 and my buddy on linux(and some browsers i have never heard of) both tested this and we got redirected to this site. But only once. Now when i do that again, it opens up my site. What the hell is going on? Please advise what to do! :( Maybe i should open this on serverfoult, i dont know... :( UPDATE: This only seems to be happening when you do this for the first time in your browser. Next time you do it it is ok. I have opened up chrome, which i only use for testing and did these steps: open google.com search for crtaci.info click on first result i get redirected open google.com again search for crtaci.info again it works fine now

  • Visual Web Developer 2005 Express loads very slowly

    I admit that I am not a guru of Visual Studio products at all. I am using Visual Web Developer 2005 Express Edition and I'm trying to load someone else's project. This project happens to be a website with many pages. After loading VWD, it asks for a project to open and I select the solution file. It then proceeds to take an extremely long time to load. The status bar indicates that references are being loaded, many of which are in the System.Web.* area it seems. It seems like it's going back and forth between some different packages. The loading time is upwards of 20 to 30 minutes or more. Some others have stated that their projects open fine when they go to File Open Website... and choose the project directory from there. Any ideas what the problem could be and how to fix it? Edit: It finally completed loading after an hour approximately.

I found out the reason, the space was not recognized as valid space by Java somehow. But, I don't know how it turned up to be like that from the front processing up to the code that I've posted.

    Hi guys, I'm writing a Python open-source app. My app uses some open source Python libraries. These libraries in turn use other open-source libraries. I intend to release my code at Sourceforge or Google Code but do I need to include the sources of the other libraries? Is this a good practice? ...or should I simply write this information into a README file informing the use about the other required libraries. I've placed all these libraries into a libs sub folder in my source directory. When checking my code into SVN, should I use something called svn:externals to link to other sources? Is there a way to dynamically update my libraries to the latest version or is this something I have to do manually when I release a new version. My sincerest apologies if my question sounds vague but I'm pretty lost in this matter and I don't know what to Google for. Thanks all.

I assure you, the path does exist with the space in it on my machine. What's the best way to call this command line from Powershell? I've tried Invoke-Expression, Diagnostic.Process::Start, &; each method coming up with some different type of error; usually that it could find the executable. Any constructive input is greatly appreciated. Thanks.

What happened: after clicking continue after clicking "security tab" link, no security tab What do I need to do to access my EFI partition on Windows 8.1?

However when I go into System Preferences Monitors the only monitor shown is the one connected to the 4850. Is there something I need to enable for it to be able to use the other card?
