I want to make an AIR app that look into the active application text and look for a specific pattern and make a transparent window into that text position to create a button. Its a bit like the skype plug-in in Mozilla ... It replaces the telephone number with a button to launch skype.

  • Debugging: Attach to Process for Console App running inside cmd.exe

    How do you "Attach to Process..." for a console application thats running from a CMD window and not launched by F5? The reason I ask is because the application takes command line arguments and I want to have a genuine experience. I've even attaching to CMD.exe, but no luck, or setting a break-point using Console.ReadKey() with also no luck. I'm kind of at a loss here. Is this possible?

The same example tested in IE8, FF and Chrome behaves exactly as expected. I've already tried updating the element's class but this does not work if the browser's window has been opened maximized and no further size changes were made to the window (which is about 90% of the use cases we have for our product.... :( ) I'm stuck with a CSS-based solution however I think that I can make an exception in this case if it can easily be made IE7-specific (which means that other browsers will behave in a standard way with this). Please help!

    I would like to be able to use a tool like WatiN to automate somethings that needs to interact with a Web App that is access by using an instance of IE running on Citrix. So far it seems impossible to interact with the window at even a rudimentary level using SendKeys as the internal UI components seemingly do not have a handle. Has anyone been able to do this or anything similar?

  • UIModalPresentationFormSheet and MPMoviePlayer on iPhone/iPad OS 3.2?

    I have a UIModalPresentationFormSheet which has a movie player inside of it. When the user hits the button to play it in full screen, my UIModalPresentationFormSheet is still there ontop of the video while it's playing in full screen, behind the window and behind the shadow. What do I need to do to get rid of the dim so the video is playing in fullscreen with being able to select buttons and not having an annoying dim ontop of it?

  • Running multiprocess applications from MATLAB

    I've written a multitprocess application in VC++ and tried to execute it with command line arguments with the system command. It runs, but only on one core --- any suggestions? Update:In fact, it doesn't even see the second core. I used OpenMP and used omp_get_max_threads() and omp_get_thread_num() to check and omp_get_max_threads() seems to be 1 when I execute the application from MATLAB but it's 2 (as is expected) if I run it from the command window.

  • What differences should i make in the MPMoviePlayer sample code(for iphone) to make it work in Ipad?

    Its working perfectly in the iphone simulator. But not in the ipad simulator. I am only trying to make the movie getting loaded when the application launches.Copy pasted the same code in a ipad window application. But it loads and only gives the white screen and nothing is happening. Can anyone tell me what changes should I make to work it in ipad simulator just as in the iphone simulator?

I can find the AutomationElement related to the control, but how do I interact with it? Spy++ sees the grid control as a single window, so I can't talk to rows, columns, or cells directly.     I have Office 2007 and Office 2010 installed side-by-side. How do I stop the setup / configuration window from appearing each time I open a different version? If I open 2007, it will go through the configuration process, then I can use 2007 without issue until I open a 2010 application. Then, when I open any 2010 Office application it will go through the configuration process.

  • jQuery Cycle plugin IE6/7 issues

    I've implemented a slideshow using the Cycle plugin, which is working in all browsers except IE6&7, where the images just show up in a list, and the #page_copy div is not hiding. I've been going through the code all day without any luck, and not exactly sure how or what I should be looking for. What would be the best way to go about debugging this issue? I need to know which emulator runs on what AVD, then I can install APKs or send commands to the emulator. How can I recognize each emulator device or get the serial number of emulator after it runs?
