  • JCarousel wrap set to 'circular' bug

    I'm trying to set up a JCarousel instance witht the wrap set to circular, however, I noticed an issue where I "inspect element" in Chrome, duplicate elements are added to the html when the slides repeat (it can be viewed on the official example page). http://sorgalla.com/projects/jcarousel/examples/static_circular.html I know this is an open bug on GitHub.   • Change Variable back to original value after Regex matching.

    I just "finished" expanding my Palindrome Tester, made in C#. To allow for phrases I added a simple regex match for all non-alphanumeric characters. At the end of the program it states " is(n't) a palindrome." But now with the regex it prints the no spaces/punctuation version of it. I would like to be able to print the original user input.   • How to stop PowerShell from unpacking an Enumerable object?

    Working on a simple helper function in PowerShell that takes a couple of parameters and creates a custom Enumerable object and outputs that object to the pipeline. The problem I am having is that PowerShell is always outputting a System.Array that contains the objects that are enumerated by my custom Enumerable object.   • How do I remove sensitive files from git's history

    I would like to put a git project ( Rails app ) on github, but it contains certian files with sensitive data ( usernames and passwords, like /config/deploy.rb for capistrano ). I know I can add these filenames to .gitignore, but this would not remove the their history within git. I also don't want to start over again by deleting the /.git directory. Is there a way to remove all traces of a particular file in your git history?

I have looked around and some people are suggesting that this can be done in OS 3.2+ but posts seem to be from before the NDA was lifted.   • acts_as_revisable 'loses' previous models created before migration

    I have the following the standard, regular post sample app. I created some posts then decided to introduce acts_as_revisable After following the instructions at http://github.com/rich/acts_as_revisable I see that the previous posts are not appearing in the Post.all call. However, if I use the console and do Post.find_by_sql("SELECT * FROM Post WHERE ID=1") the post shows up. Any ideas? Thanks

  • Sibling UIViewController Navigation

    would anybody care to comment on this piece of code? It allows you to do "prev" or "next" once in the detail view of a uiviewcontroller. So, if you have 4 uiviewcontrollers, you can navigate from #3 to #2 with previous or #3 to #4 with next.     Hi all, I have set up AuthLogic almost exactly as per the AuthLogic example app at http://github.com/binarylogic/authlogic_example. After someone logs in as User, they can click on links that send them away into the system and away from the users controller. This is an incredibly noob question, but how can I access that User's ID and other attributes from anywhere else, such as an unrelated view or unrelated controller? An example of what I'd like to do: #matchings controller @matching = Matching.find_by_user_id(user.id)
