  • Getting number of instances of asp.net website

    I have an asp.net website and i want to get the number of users currently viewing my site. I am aware that there are some third party softwares available, that would give me the list of the users online but i don't want to do that. Does anyone know how this can be achieved in asp.net? May be if there are any server variables that would keep a track of the website instances that gives the number of users currently visiting the site. Please help me.

    I have a variable in Python containing a floating point number (e.g. num = 24654.123), and I'd like to determine the number's precision and scale values (in the Oracle sense), so 123.45678 should give me (8,5), 12.76 should give me (4,2), etc. I was first thinking about using the string representation (via str or repr), but those fail for large numbers: >>> num = 1234567890.0987654321 >>> str(num) = 1234567890.1 >>> repr(num) = 1234567890.0987654

    Hi, I am developing in android and I would like an input field for numbers, where the user can select the correct number using the plus sign at the top and the minus sign at the bottom of the input field.     Hi, How can I check if a user enters a number in my UITextField. Basically its a mark im accepting between 0-100 and it can be a decimal....I heard i can try to convert it to a NSNumber type and see if it returns null. Not suree Any help would be appreciated. I have tried if(grade.text doubleValue] == 0){ //Not a number } but then it still can accept "23f". Thanks

    I have the following code snippet: string tmp = String.Format("javascript:window.open('{0}');", url); ClientScript.RegisterClientScriptBlock(this.GetType(), "NewWindow", tmp); the url generated by this code include the port number and I think that is happening becasue port 80 is used by the website and in this code I am trying to load a page from a virtual directory of the website. Any ideas on how to supress the port number in the url string generated by this code?

    When searching for number of occurrences of a string in a file, I generally use: grep pattern file | wc -l However, this only finds one occurrence per line, because of the way grep works. How can I search for the number of times a string appears in a file, regardless of whether they are on the same or different lines? Also, what if I'm searching for a regex pattern, not a simple string? How can I count those, or, even better, print each match on a new line?
