  • Reduce Multiple Errors logging in sysssislog

    Need help. I am trying to automate error notifications to be sent in mailers. For that I am querying the sysssislog table. I have pasted an "Execute SQl task" on the package event handler "On error". For testing purpose, I am deliberately trying to load duplicate keys in a table which consists of a Primary key column(so as to get an error). But instead of having just one error, "Violation of primary key constraint", SSIS records 3 in the table. PFA the screenshot as well. How can i restrict the tool to log only one error and not multiple ??? Package Structure. Package ("On error Event handler") - DFT - Oledb Source - Oledb Destination SSIS Error Code DTS_E_OLEDBERROR. An OLE DB error has occurred. Error code: 0x80004005. An OLE DB record is available. Source: "Microsoft SQL Server Native Client 10.0" Hresult: 0x80004005 Description: "The statement has been terminated.". An OLE DB record is available.     Dear All: Sorry this is probably a very simple question. I am using gradle http://www.gradle.org/ for my development environment. It works quite well! I have written a simple unit test that uses HtmlUnit and my own package. For my own package, I use java.util.Logger. HtmlUnit seems to use commons logging: http://htmlunit.sourceforge.net/logging.html I would like to see console output of my logging messages from java.util.Logger However, it seems that even messages at the info level are not displayed in my Unit Test Results GUI (System.err link), although the HtmlUnit messages are all displayed.     The problem this time is to get the median of three values (easy) I did this: (define (med x y z) (car(cdr(x y z))) and it was accepted but when testing it: (med 3 4 5) I get this error: Error: attempt to call a non-procedure (2 3 4) And when entering letters instead of number i get: (md x y z) Error: undefined varia y (package user) Using something besides x y z I get: (md d l m) Error: undefined variable d (package user) the question was deleted dont know how anyway write a function that return the median of 3 values Sorry for editing the question I got that I should put the values in order first not just a sill car and cdr thing so I did so 33> (define (med x y z) (if(and( (<x y) (<y z) y if(and( (<y x) (<x z) x z))))) Warning: invalid expression (if (and< (<x y) (<y z) y if (and ((<y x) (<x z) x z)))) but as u see Im getting a warning so what is wronge ?

    I am tying to merging web application(gwt, jpa) to an separate 2 application(business login in ejb/jpa and web client in gwt). Currently i can`t inject my beans from web application (simple servlet) I am using glassfish v3. module limbo(ejb jar) is in dependency of module lust (war). If I use lust with compiler output of limbo everything work perfect (if ejb in web application and the are deploying together as one application). Have I messed some container configuration ?   • How to make python_select work for '$>python' command?

    I installed a couple of pythons in different versions with macports, and the apple python 2.6 is also working. Now I need to run a program which requires MySQLdb package support in python, and this package was installed to the python I installed by macports. The program tells me that there is no MySQLdb installed, so I guess it is the apple python working for that program. I searched for some help and found python_select for switching between pythons. However after the command $>sudo python_select python25 told me that it selected the version "python25" for python, when I type $>python it is still apple python 2.6 that launches. The question is that how can I make python25(the one with MySQLdb) work for the program rather than apple python? Another important thing, the program is NOT a .py file and needs to be compiled before running. So do I need to re-install this program? My Mac OS version is Snow Leopard 10.6. Any answer is appreciated.

  • ASP.NET Deployment under IIS7/VS2010 as Web Application

    I transformed my VS2008 ASP.NET Website to a "Web Application" today using VS2010. So now it's possible to build a Deployment Package. A Zip Package which can be direclty imported into IIS7. Usually I added a website in IIS7 called mydomain.com and put everything in its root dir. That worked. However, since I converted to an Web Application, this Application is added beneath my "Website container". Now I'm confused, this is how it actually looks now when I try to open the website: Browsing to mydomain.com says 404 ERROR. Browsing to mydomain.com/mydomain.com opens the actual website, but in a subfolder instead of the root directory. (The Application is named after the Domain) How to make this application the root of the website now? I want the application to run under the mydomain.com ROOT and not some subfolder. Thanks a lot!

  • nHibernate session - Using repository pattern in Web, windows, wcf etc...

    I recently posted a question which was answered by Bryan Watts, regarding generic repository for nHibernate. I'm trying to design my data access to allow various facets - from ASP.net, WCF and Windows Forms / Windows services. I'm a bit confused re: session management etc.. How would I handle this? I've been checking out code such as: http://membranecms.googlecode.com/svn/ and questions such as: http://stackoverflow.com/questions/1207833/nhibernate-linq-session-management But what do i do if i don't just do things in a web based environment..? Do i need to create different repositories for each client? Or do i pass in the ISession into the (for example) UserRepository constructor..? ... as a side note I'm using nHibernate.Linq Also using fluent nHibernate to config my mapping

  • MinGW - cross compile tool - latest version?

    At the MinGW download page you can download the "Cross-Hosted MinGW Build Tool" which is a shell script to build the "MinGW cross-compiler" so that you will be able to compile your programs on "Linux" to the "Windows" target. I have downloaded that script, run it and answered the interactive questions the script has asked me. I had to dowload some files from which one has name "gcc-core". And the "latest" version of the "gcc-core source code" I have found on that page, was "gcc-core-3.4.5-20060117-2-src.tar.gz" - so that "3.4.5" version. But on "Ubuntu Linux" I can download the precompiled "mingw32" package which is of the version "4.2.1". How is it possible that the "Ubuntu package" version of MinGW is newer than the one from the MinGW "homepage"? So which is the latest version of the "MinGW cross compile tool"?

  • Are Symphony and CakePHP too slow to be usable?

    Until now, I have always said that CakePHP is too bloated and slow. I don't really know that, I just saw "some" benchmarks. What I really want to know, is that if those two frameworks (Symfony and CakePHP) are too slow to be usable in a way that the user will get frustrated. I already know that those frameworks are slower than other alternatives, but that's not the question. I ask the question because I want to create a project management web application and I still hesitate between a couple frameworks. I've had some trouble learning Zend, but imho I haven't tried hard enough. So in conclusion, in addition to the first question above, I would like to ask another question: If I want to create a project management tool (which is a pretty big project), which of the following should you suggest, considering the developement time, the speed of the resulting application, and the robustness of the final product: Symphony CakePHP Zend Framework Also I should mention that I don't know any of those frameworks, and that I want to learn one of them (at least).

  • Oracle EXECUTE IMMEDIATE changes explain plan of query.

    I have a stored procedure that I am calling using EXECUTE IMMEDIATE. The issue that I am facing is that the explain plan is different when I call the procedure directly vs when I use EXECUTE IMMEDIATE to call the procedure. This is causing the execution time to increase 5x. The main difference between the plans is that when I use execute immediate the optimizer isn't unnesting the subquery (I'm using a NOT EXISTS condition).     Hello, I have a sub class that calls a method from a super class. and the method in the super class use a method that is defined in the super class as asbstract(not really abstract) but implemented in the sub class. for example: package BaseClass; sub new { } sub method1 { return someAbstractMethod(); } sub someAbtsractMethod { die "oops, this is an abstract method that should be implemented in a subclass" ; } 1; package SubClass; sub new { } sub someAbtsractMethod { print "now we implement the asbtract method"; } 1; now when I do: $sub = new SubClass(); $sub-method1(); It calls the abstract message and i get the specified error message. if I took off the abstractmethod from the super class and just leave the implementation in the subclass, It does not recognize the method and I get subroutine abstractmethod not found error.

    Hi, I've got a problem with type coercion in a Java/Hibernate/BlazeDS/Flex-Setup. First of all, my classes look like this: --- JAVA --- Interface I (Abstract) Class A implements I Class B extends A --- ActionScript --- Interface I Class A implements I Class B extends A I got RemoteClass-Meta-Tags in all ActionScript-Classes/Interfaces I, A and B. Package structure and Class/Interface names are exactly the same. Now here's the problem: My Java Service successfully retrieves objects of class B from my database via Hibernate. I got another class C which has a member property of interface type I, so it should be possible to assign an object of type B. But for some reason i get the following error message: TypeError: Error #1034: cannot convert Object@28b44a89 to package.name.I I checked the Java object type in the service and it is of type B and seems to be totally fine. Why can't the object of type B be assigned to a member variable of type I? This is driving me nuts. Thanks in advance.

    Hi all, For a new project, we need to use WF 4.0 for deploying and running workflows. Instead of hosting workflows within the application itself, we decided to implement a server-side component that is in charge of running workflows. Before WF 4.0, one had explicit access to the the runtime engine (WorkflowRuntime), which provided some basic management functionalities, such as retrieving the workflows currently running etc ... As far as I could find out, WF 4.0 lacks this explicit access, as workflows are created via the WorkflowInstance class and no reference is immediately available to the WorkflowRuntime ... If I need these management functionalities on the server side, I'm a correct that I will need to implement these myself? Or did I miss out on something ... Thanks in advance for your answers!

I want to have subscription packages such as: Premium: 5 users, 20 widgets, 20 MB storage Basic: 2 users, 10 widgets, 50 MB storage I want to allow companies to upgrade and downgrade packages at any time. The problem I am having is what if the company is on the premium package and has 5 users, 20 widgets, and wants to downgrade to the "basic" package. How do I handle that? Do I flag an error and say "You cannot downgrade" or do I take them to a page to remove the "extra" users and widgets? Any advice or examples of how other companies do it would be great!!

There are so many different mehods, extending the Event class, but also Extending the EventDispatcher class, very confusing!   • What tools are people using to measure SQL Server database performance?

    I've experimented with a number of techniques for monitoring the health of our SQL Servers, ranging from using the Management Data Warehouse functionality built into SQL Server 2008, through other commercial products such as Confio Ignite 8 and also of course rolling my own solution using perfmon, performance counters and collecting of various information from the dynamic management views and functions. What I am finding is that whilst each of these approaches has its own associated strengths, they all have associated weaknesses too. I feel that to actually get people within the organisation to take the monitoring of SQL Server performance seriously whatever solution we roll out has to be very simple and quick to use, must provide some form of a dashboard, and the act of monitoring must have minimal impact on the production databases (and perhaps even more importantly, it must be possible to prove that this is the case). So I'm interested to hear what others are using for this task? Any recommendations?

  • Insert multiple values using INSERT INTO

    In SQL Server 2005, I'm trying to figure out why I'm not able to insert multiple fields into a table. The following query, which inserts one record, works fine: INSERT INTO [MyDB].[dbo].[MyTable] ([FieldID] ,[Description]) VALUES (1000,N'test') However, the following query, which specifies more than one value, fails: INSERT INTO [MyDB].[dbo].[MyTable] ([FieldID] ,[Description]) VALUES (1000,N'test'),(1001,N'test2') I get this message: Msg 102, Level 15, State 1, Line 5 Incorrect syntax near ','. When I looked up the help for INSERT in SQL Sever Management Studio, one of their examples showed using the "Values" syntax that I used (with groups of values in parentheses and separated by commas). The help documentation I found in SQL Server Management Studio looks like it's for SQL Server 2008, so perhaps that's the reason that the insert doesn't work. Either way, I can't figure out why it won't work.
