  • What is this exception ?

    - by Lalit
I am getting this exception while reading the shapes in excel sheet in c#: on code line of if (worksheet.Shapes.Count >= iCurrentRowIndex) {} Unable to cast COM object of type 'System.__ComObject' to interface type 'Microsoft.Office.Interop.Excel._Worksheet'. This operation failed because the QueryInterface call on the COM component for the interface with IID '{000208D8-0000-0000-C000-000000000046}' failed due to the following error: The application called an interface that was marshalled for a different thread. (Exception from HRESULT: 0x8001010E (RPC_E_WRONG_THREAD)).

  • Finding x,y position of a datagrid / adavancedDataGrid row in Flex

    - by zak kus
I have flex advancedDataGrid (could use dataGrid if that works better, though i like my meta-column headers), and i want to have a component popup on top of a selected row. The problem is, i can figure out how to reference an actual rendered row of a datagrid (rather than an item of the dataprovider) in order to get its position on the screen. Does anyone have any theories on how to access a "row" of a datagrid, or at least get its position? Cheers

  • TeeChart VCL vs .NET

    - by Seth
Is TeeChart .NET built from the same source as TeeChart VCL? I'm just wandering as we have a VCL application heavily dependent on TeeChart and I would like to redevelop the GUI component in .NET so I can switch from the Codegear IDE to Visual Studio.

  • java.lang.Error: "Not enough storage is available to process this command" when generating images

    - by jhericks
I am running a web application on BEA Weblogic 9.2. Until recently, we were using JDK 1.5.0_04, with JAI 1.1.2_01 and Image IO 1.1. In some circumstances (we never figured out exactly why), when we were processing large images (but not that large - a few MB), the JVM would crash without any error message or stack trace or anything. This didn't happen much in production, but enough to be a nuisance and eventually we were able to reproduce it. We decided to switch to JRockit90 1.5.0_04 and we were no longer able to reproduce the problem in our test environment, so we thought we had it licked. Now, however, after the application server has been up for a while, we start getting the error message, "Not enough storage is available to process this command" during image operations. For example: java.lang.Error: Error starting thread: Not enough storage is available to process this command. at java.lang.Thread.start()V(Unknown Source) at sun.awt.image.ImageFetcher$1.run(ImageFetcher.java:279) at sun.awt.image.ImageFetcher.createFetchers(ImageFetcher.java:272) at sun.awt.image.ImageFetcher.add(ImageFetcher.java:55) at sun.awt.image.InputStreamImageSource.startProduction(InputStreamImageSource.java:149) at sun.awt.image.InputStreamImageSource.addConsumer(InputStreamImageSource.java:106) at sun.awt.image.InputStreamImageSource.startProduction(InputStreamImageSource.java:144) at sun.awt.image.ImageRepresentation.startProduction(ImageRepresentation.java:647) at sun.awt.image.ImageRepresentation.prepare(ImageRepresentation.java:684) at sun.awt.SunToolkit.prepareImage(SunToolkit.java:734) at java.awt.Component.prepareImage(Component.java:3073) at java.awt.ImageMediaEntry.startLoad(MediaTracker.java:906) at java.awt.MediaEntry.getStatus(MediaTracker.java:851) at java.awt.ImageMediaEntry.getStatus(MediaTracker.java:902) at java.awt.MediaTracker.statusAll(MediaTracker.java:454) at java.awt.MediaTracker.waitForAll(MediaTracker.java:405) at java.awt.MediaTracker.waitForAll(MediaTracker.java:375) at SfxNET.System.Drawing.ImageLoader.loadImage(Ljava.awt.Image;)Ljava.awt.image.BufferedImage;(Unknown Source) at SfxNET.System.Drawing.ImageLoader.loadImage(Ljava.net.URL;)Ljava.awt.image.BufferedImage;(Unknown Source) at Resources.Tools.Commands.W$zw(Ljava.lang.ClassLoader;)V(Unknown Source) at Resources.Tools.Commands.getContents()[[Ljava.lang.Object;(Unknown Source) at SfxNET.sfxUtils.SfxResourceBundle.handleGetObject(Ljava.lang.String;)Ljava.lang.Object;(Unknown Source) at java.util.ResourceBundle.getObject(ResourceBundle.java:320) at SoftwareFX.internal.ChartFX.wxvw.yxWW(Ljava.lang.String;Z)Ljava.lang.Object;(Unknown Source) at SoftwareFX.internal.ChartFX.wxvw.vxWW(Ljava.lang.String;)Ljava.lang.Object;(Unknown Source) at SoftwareFX.internal.ChartFX.CommandBar.YWww(LSoftwareFX.internal.ChartFX.wxvw;IIII)V(Unknown Source) at SoftwareFX.internal.ChartFX.Internet.Server.xxvw.YzzW(LSoftwareFX.internal.ChartFX.Internet.Server.ChartCore;Z)LSoftwareFX.internal.ChartFX.CommandBar;(Unknown Source) at SoftwareFX.internal.ChartFX.Internet.Server.xxvw.XzzW(LSoftwareFX.internal.ChartFX.Internet.Server.ChartCore;)V(Unknown Source) at SoftwareFX.internal.ChartFX.Internet.Server.ChartCore.OnDeserialization(Ljava.lang.Object;)V(Unknown Source) at SoftwareFX.internal.ChartFX.Internet.Server.ChartCore.Zvvz(LSoftwareFX.internal.ChartFX.Base.wzzy;)V(Unknown Source) Has anyone seen something like this before? • (RAD Studio) Virtual TreeView: how to initialize all nodes at once?

    - by Andrew
Hi, I just discovered this component and started working with it. I understand that the whole concept of it is to initialize nodes on the go as they are needed but I need all of them to initialize instantly. What is the smart way to do it? The only thing I came up with is to use GetLast() after adding nodes. I believe, there is a better way, or not?

  • Could not synchronize database state with session

    - by user359427
Hello all, I'm having trouble trying to persist an entity which ID is a generated value. This entity (A), at persistence time, has to persist in cascade another entity(B). The relationship within A and B is OneToMany, and the property related in B is part of a composite key. I'm using Eclipse, JBOSS Runtime, JPA/Hibernate Here is my code: Entity A: @Entity public class Cambios implements Serializable { private static final long serialVersionUID = 1L; @SequenceGenerator(name="CAMBIOS_GEN",sequenceName="CAMBIOS_SEQ",allocationSize=1) @Id @GeneratedValue(strategy=GenerationType.SEQUENCE, generator="CAMBIOS_GEN") @Column(name="ID_CAMBIO") private Long idCambio; //bi-directional many-to-one association to ObjetosCambio @OneToMany(cascade={CascadeType.PERSIST},mappedBy="cambios") private List<ObjetosCambio> objetosCambioList; public Cambios() { } ... } Entity B: @Entity @Table(name="OBJETOS_CAMBIO") public class ObjetosCambio implements Serializable { private static final long serialVersionUID = 1L; @EmbeddedId private ObjetosCambioPK id; //bi-directional many-to-one association to Cambios @ManyToOne @JoinColumn(name="ID_CAMBIO", insertable=false, updatable=false) private Cambios cambios; //bi-directional many-to-one association to Objetos @ManyToOne @JoinColumn(name="ID_OBJETO", insertable=false, updatable=false) private Objetos objetos; public ObjetosCambio() { } ... Entity B PK: @Embeddable public class ObjetosCambioPK implements Serializable { //default serial version id, required for serializable classes. private static final long serialVersionUID = 1L; • Flex 3.5 Accordion and TabNavigator Index Change Bug

    - by majgis
I'm using Flex 3.5 with Adobe Flex Builder 3. I have found that if you very rapidly click between multiple headers of an accordion component or the tabs of TabNavigator, these components will begin to exhibit odd, unexpected behavior. Has anyone else experienced this behavior and do you know of a patch that can prevent the user from getting in a situation where the tab/header they click on is not the one made visible?

  • Delphi, ImageList that handles BOTH png and bitmaps.

    - by michal
Recently I've found TPngImageList component ( http://cc.embarcadero.com/Item/26127 ) which is very good, but it handles only png images ... I'd like to have some imagelist that allows combining of pngimages with bitmaps, as I'm using lots of bitmaps, and I do not want to spend coming week converting those bitmaps to pngs, yet I want to use be able to add PNG images for coming features ... So far I used to convert the PNGs to bitmaps using GIMP if I wasn't able to find any replacement.

  • CQRS event versioning

    - by Arnis L.
Versioning If your events changes you would create a new version of that event, and keep the old ones. To keep your domain code form being bloated with handling of all versions of events you would basically introduce a component that converts your events from previous to newer versions, and then apply them on the domain. Remember that events are things that actually happened in your domain so in most cases the information in deprecated events are valuable. I still haven't found any example of this. Any help?

  • A taxonomy of web frameworks?

There seem to be several different categories of web frameworks, e.g. MVC, component based, event-driven, action-based, etc. I can't find a comprehensive list of categories and definitions anywhere. (I dare not ask for examples as well.) Is there a general taxonomy of web application frameworks somewhere, or is this too fuzzy a question to allow for definitive answers?

  • Blackberry Development, adding dynamic number of buttons and setting Fieldchangelistener() for them

    - by Nikesh Yadav
Hi, I am adding dynamic number of buttons in a Blackberry application and trying to get different events on each button click. I am not able to apply the setchangelistener() for these array of buttons as once the loop finishes after adding all the buttons, the events gets generated only for the last indexed button. If I make us of getIndex(), it runs fine only if I am not adding any other fields on my screen, but if I add other fields along with these array of buttons, the getIndex() function count them in the indexing as well. Can anyone please help me out in setting FieldChangeListener to array of ButtonField? Here is a sample code of the way I am using the array of ButtonField. I the code I have added two test LabelField at the top of the screen, if I remove them the code will run fine and I will get different result for each button click, but if I keep them active, the indexing gets effected and the Button wont work. package buttonclickloop; import net.rim.device.api.ui.DrawStyle; import net.rim.device.api.ui.Field; import net.rim.device.api.ui.FieldChangeListener; import net.rim.device.api.ui.component.ButtonField; import net.rim.device.api.ui.component.LabelField; import net.rim.device.api.ui.container.HorizontalFieldManager; import net.rim.device.api.ui.container.MainScreen; public class ButtoncClickLoop extends MainScreen { int i = 0; private ButtonField[] btn = new ButtonField[50]; public ButtoncClickLoop() { // TODO Auto-generated constructor stub LabelField Field1 = new LabelField("Field1"); LabelField Field2 = new LabelField("Field2",DrawStyle.RIGHT | ButtonField.USE_ALL_WIDTH); HorizontalFieldManager FieldHmgr = new HorizontalFieldManager(); FieldHmgr.add(Field1); FieldHmgr.add(Field2); FieldHmgr.setMargin(0,0,10,5); add(FieldHmgr); while (i < 3){ FieldChangeListener listener = new FieldChangeListener() { public void fieldChanged(Field field, int context) { context = field.getIndex(); if (field == btn[context]){ add(new LabelField("Label" + context + "")); } } }; btn[i] = new ButtonField("Button" + i + ""); btn[i].setChangeListener(listener); add(btn[i]); i = i + 1; } } } Thanks, Nikesh
