  • Apache htdocs in folder with unicode name

    I have my apache (for windows) htdocs in a folder like c:\anything1\????\anything2. The problem is that in this case php won't execute any scripts from here and will display an error message like this: `Warning: Unknown: failed to open stream: No such file or directory in Unknown on line 0 Fatal error: Unknown: Failed opening required 'c:/anything1/????/anything2/index.php' (include_path='.;C:\php5\pear') in Unknown on line 0 ` If I try to open a html file, it is served by apache, so it seems that the problem appears only with php. Do you have an idea how to solve this?

Out of four classes; one is main class while other three are having the one to many relationship with first one; When I load the object of main class & put into the memory OR serialize it into an XML file; I never get the child class data while it is maked as DataContractAttribute. How can I force object to put the child class data into XML file or into cache ?

If I change the code within the foreach loop to echo $album->name; it shows nothing at all. What am I doing wrong?

    My js code: $(function(){ var arr = new Array('jj', 'kk', 'oo'); $.post('test12.php', {'arr[]': arr}, function(data){ alert(data); }); }); PHP code: <?php echo print_r($_POST['arr']); The thing is,$.post receive a key named 'arr[]',it should be used in PHP as 'arr[]' instead of 'arr',but '$_POST['arr[]']' doesn't work,'arr' works.Which seems that Jquery might do something with curly braces '[]' before sending something to PHP. Secondly,when I remove the single quotas around 'arr[]',PHP can not receive anything by using $_POST['arr'];,I don't know why? Doing this task in a traditional way with no curly braces: $.post('test12.php', {arr: arr}, function(data){ alert(data); }); It works fine. So when sending javascript array to PHP,why bothering using single quote and curly braces like 'arr[]' instead of using a concise way like arr:arr My return result is Array( [0]=>jj [1]=>kk [2]=>oo ) 1 Notice there is a 1 under the array,why?

    I want to create an application that will fetch a JSON object from a servlet to deserialize it, and then use its variables to do other things. My servlet has the following code in the doPost: protected void doPost(HttpServletRequest request, HttpServletResponse response) throws ServletException, IOException { ObjectOutputStream os; os = new ObjectOutputStream(response.getOutputStream()); String s = new String("A String"); Gson gson = new Gson(); String gsonObject= gson.toJson(s); os.writeObject(gsonObject); os.close(); } Now, while the servlet is running, I can access it via a browser, if I post same code in the doGet method, that would download a servlet file, which is not what I want. What should I use in my second application that would connect to the servlet, fetch the object, so that I can manipulate it later? Thanks in advance.

  • Suggestions for performance improvement surrounding sending email notifications?

    It takes around a couple of seconds for my app to execute the code to send an email right now on a test server with nothing much else running. Not sure if this is typical/expected. I'm also using the php framework Kohana's email helper and not php's mail directly out of convenience if that matters. Is it always just better to schedule a cron job to send emails every 5 min or so? Or should I be able to send emails immediately and I'm just not doing something right? What the script does is insert a row into the db and notifies the relevant group that the row was created. The groups are usually < 20 people so I just do a loop calling Kohana's email helper each time for each member of the group.

Interface contains a few methods, one of them should return true if all elements of this set are also in the set. I've read that doing a lot of DOM manipulations can be dangerous, but the for loops a max of 286 times (# of verses in surah 2, the longest surah in the Qur'an).

    I have a big problem while evaluate my java code. To simplify the problem I wrote the following code which produce the same curious behavior. Important is the method run() and given double value rate. For my runtime test (in the main method) I set the rate to 0.5 one times and 1.0 the other time. With the value 1.0 the if-statement will be executed in each loop iteration and with the value 0.5 the if-statement will be executed half as much. For this reason I expected longer runtime by the first case but opposite is true. Can anybody explain me this phenomenon?? And was able to perform the rotation using TrackballDecorator 3D Tools library. Now I need it to give the xml back to me as a string (rather than save it to a file). I am looking into it, but I have not figured it out yet. I thought this might be really easy for someone familiar with these objects. If not I will figure it out eventually.

  • MSMQ empty object on message body

    Ok, so I'm very VERY new to MSMQ and I'm already confused. I have created a private queue and added a few messages to it, all good so far. BUT when I retrieve the messages back from the queue the message body contains a empty object of the type I added. By this I don't mean that the body is null, it does have a reference to a type of the object that I added, but it's not instantiated so all the properties are in their null or default state.
