  • javascript function won't stop looping - It's on a netsuite website

    - by Lauren
I need to change the shipping carrier drop-down and shipping method radio button once via a javascript function, not forever. However, when I use this function, which executes when on the Review and Submit page when the order is < $5, it goes into an endless loop: function setFreeSampShipping(){ var options = document.forms['checkout'].shippingcarrierselect.getElementsByTagName('option'); for (i=0;i<options.length;i++){ if (options[i].value == 'nonups'){ document.forms['checkout'].shippingcarrierselect.value='nonups'; document.forms['checkout'].shippingcarrierselect.onchange(); document.location.href='/app/site/backend/setshipmeth.nl?c=659197&n=1&sc=4&sShipMeth=2035'; } } } It gets called from within this part of the function setSampPolicyElems() which you can see I've commented out to stop the loop: if (carTotl < 5 && hasSampp == 1) { /* if (document.forms['checkout'].shippingcarrierselect.value =='ups'){ setFreeSampShipping(); } */ document.getElementById('sampAdd').style.display="none"; document.getElementById("custbody_ava_webshiptype").value = "7";//no charge free freight if (document.getElementById("applycoupon")) { document.location.href='/app/site/backend/setpromocode.nl?c=659197&n=1&sc=4&kReferralCode=SAMPLE' } document.write("<div id='msg'><strong>Sample & Shipping:</strong></span> No Charge. (Your sample order is < $5.)</div>"); } To see the issue, go to the order review and submit page here: https://checkout.netsuite.com/s.nl?c=659197&sc=4&n=1 (or go to http://www.avaline.com, hit "checkout", and login) You can log in with these credentials: Email:[email protected] Pass:test03

  • Optimize existing code and need to list alphabetically.

    - by Brad
I need help optimizing the code to run faster, unless it is optimized the best. I also want to alphabetize the list and I am unsure how to do that. It should be alphabetized by $userinfo[0]["sn"][0] I am using the adLDAP class: http://adldap.sourceforge.net/ <?php require_once('adLDAP.php'); //header('Content-type: text/json'); $adldap = new adLDAP(); $groupMembers = $adldap->group_members('STAFF'); //print_r($groupMembers); $userinfo = $adldap->user_info($username, array("givenname","sn","telephonenumber")); $displayname = $userinfo[0]["givenname"][0]." • How do I reference an unsigned assembly from a VSTO Word Doc project?

    - by Gishu
I created a new project in VS2008. Project type Visual C# > Office > 2007 > Word 2007 Document Added some code.. got Word to do a few jumps through some custom hoops.. all fine. Now I need to reference another assembly (CopyLocal as false) which is not signed. So I add the project reference. Now the project will not build complaining error MSB3188: Assembly 'X.dll' must be strong signed in order to be marked as a prerequisite. The error code page is concise (now accustomed to this) Been googling and reading posts ever since.. No Luck. How do I get around this ? Or is the hidden commandment that all references (for VSTO?) must be strong named / signed. I cannot sign 'X.dll' and be done with it because it is a binary that I don't control also it depends on another bunch of unsigned dlls.. can't set off a chain sign reaction. Update: Solved the build issue by turning CopyLocal=True. But this meant dumping the referenced X.DLL and all its dependencies into the bin\debug folder... Ughh! Tried creating a subfolder called bin\debug\refExecs and referencing X.dll CopyLocal=false from there. The error message was back.

  • Parsing RSS2 In PHP

    - by mrduclaw
I'm trying to get content from an RSS2 feed from one of my sites and use it in another site. The feed is here. And the code I'm using is taken from this nice site and has been modified like the following: $doc = new DOMDocument(); $doc->load('http://tripleax.com/john/?feed=rss2'); $arrFeeds = array(); foreach ($doc->getElementsByTagName('item') as $node) { print('<div style="width:100%" class="option"><strong>'); $a = $node->getElementsByTagName('title')->item(0)->nodeValue; print("$a"); print('</strong><br /><span class="option">'); $a = $node->getElementsByTagName('description')->item(0)->nodeValue; print("$a");` } The problem I'm having is, I want to display the entire post's contents. And the description is a sort of the teaser. Changing $node->getElementsByTagName('description')->item(0)->nodeValue to $node->getElementsByTagName('content')->item(0)->nodeValue gives me nothing, and content:encoded is no better. Can someone please point me in the right direction to solving this? Thanks!

  • Javascript BBCode Parser recognizes only first list element

    - by nolandark
    I have a really simple Javascript BBCode Parser for client-side live preview (don't want to use Ajax for that). The problem ist, this parser only recognizes the first list element: function bbcode_parser(str) { search = new Array( /\[b\](.*?)\[\/b\]/, /\[i\](.*?)\[\/i\]/, /\[img\](.*?)\[\/img\]/, /\[url\="?(.*?)"?\](.*?)\[\/url\]/, /\[quote](.*?)\[\/quote\]/, /\[list\=(.*?)\](.*?)\[\/list\]/i, /\[list\]([\s\S]*?)\[\/list\]/i, /\[\*\]\s?(.*?)\n/); replace = new Array( "<strong>$1</strong>", "<em>$1</em>", "<img src=\"$1\" alt=\"An image\">", "<a href=\"$1\">$2</a>", "<blockquote>$1</blockquote>", "<ol>$2</ol>", "<ul>$1</ul>", "<li>$1</li>"); for (i = 0; i < search.length; i++) { str = str.replace(search[i], replace[i]); } return str;} [list] [*] adfasdfdf [*] asdfadsf [*] asdfadss [/list] only the first element is converted to a HTML List element, the rest stays as BBCode: adfasdfdf [*] asdfadsf [*] asdfadss I tried playing around with "\s", "\S" and "\n" but I'm mostly used to PHP Regex and totally new to Javascript Regex. Any suggestions?

  • Problem on "Finding cursor position" function

    - by sanceray3
Hi all, Few days ago, I have found a solution to obtain the cursor position on a div with contentedit="true". I use the solution defined on this web site : Finding cursor position in a contenteditable div function getCursorPos() { var cursorPos; if (window.getSelection) { var selObj = window.getSelection(); var selRange = selObj.getRangeAt(0); cursorPos = findNode(selObj.anchorNode.parentNode.childNodes, selObj.anchorNode) + selObj.anchorOffset; /* FIXME the following works wrong in Opera when the document is longer than 32767 chars */ } else if (document.selection) { var range = document.selection.createRange(); var bookmark = range.getBookmark(); /* FIXME the following works wrong when the document is longer than 65535 chars */ cursorPos = bookmark.charCodeAt(2) - 11; /* Undocumented function [3] */ } return cursorPos; } function findNode(list, node) { for (var i = 0; i < list.length; i++) { if (list[i] == node) { return i; } } return -1; } It functions well, but when I use html tags inside the div the pointer doesnt show the correct position. For example if I try to find cursor position on the <strong>cat</strong> is black, the function doesn't return me the good position. But if I try on the cat is black, it functions. Any ideas how to get the position with html tags ? Thanks for your help.

  • Mixed Mode C++ DLL function call failure when app launched from network share. Called from unmanage

    - by Steve
Mixed-mode DLL called from native C application fails to load: An unhandled exception of type 'System.IO.FileLoadException' occurred in Unknown Module. Additional information: Could not load file or assembly 'XXSharePoint, Version=0.0.0.0, Culture=neutral, PublicKeyToken=e0fbc95fd73fff47' or one of its dependencies. Failed to grant minimum permission requests. (Exception from HRESULT: 0x80131417) My environment is: Native C application calling a mixed mode C++ DLL, which then loads a C# DLL.. This works correctly when loaded from a local drive, but when launched from a network drive, it fails with the above messages. The call to LoadLibrary succeeds, as does the GetProcAddress. The load error happens when I call the function. I have digitally signed the C application, and I've performed "strong name" signing on the 2 DLLs. The PublickKeyToken in the message above does match the named DLL. I have also issued the CASPOLcommands on my client to grant FullTrust to that strong name keytoken. When that failed to work, I tried the CASPOL command to grant FullTrust to the URL of the network drive (including path to my application's directory); no change in results. I tried removing all dependencies, so that there was just the initial mixed-mode DLL... I replaced the bodies of all the functions with just a return of a "success" integer value. Results unchanged. Only when I changed it from Mixed Mode to Win32, and changed the Configuration Properties General Common Language Runtime Support from "Common Language Runtime Support" to "No Common Language Runtime Support" did calling the DLL produce the expected result (just returned the "success" integer return value).

  • Passing an instance variable through RJS?

    - by Elliot
Hey guys here is my code (roughly): books.html.erb <% @books.each do |book| %> <% @bookid = book.id %> <div id="enter_stuff"> <%= render "input", :bookid => @bookid %> </div> <%end%> _input.html.erb <% @book = Book.find_by_id(@bookid) %> <strong>your book is: <%=h @book.name %></strong> create.rjs page.replace_html :enter_stuff, :partial => 'input', :object => @bookid The problem here is that only create.js doesn't seem to work (though, if instead of passing the partial I passed "..." it does work, so I know its that there are instance variables in the partial that aren't being reset. Any ideas?) So the final question, is how do I pass an instance variable to a partial through the create.rjs file? p.s. I know I will have duplicate div IDs, I'm not worrying about that for now though. Best, Elliot

  • Loading Facebook fb:profile-pic via AJAX in Facebook Connect site

    - by mbrevoort
After a page loads, I'm making an AJAX request to pull down an HTML chunk that contains tags representing a Facebook user profile picture. I append the result to a point in the DOM but the logos don't load, instead all I see is the default silhouette. Here's simply how I'm loading the HTML chunk with jQuery $.ajax({ url: "/facebookprofiles" success: function(result) { $('#profiles').append(result); } }); The HTML that I'm appending is a list of diffs like this: <div class="status Accepted"> <fb:profile-pic class="image" facebook-logo="true" linked="true" size="square" uid="1796055648"></fb:profile-pic> <p> <strong>Corona Kingsly</strong>My Status Update<br/> <span style="font-size: 0.8em">52 minutes ago</span> </p> </div> Any ideas? I assume the fb tags are not being processed once the dom is loaded. Is there any way to make that happen? I'm not seeing any exceptions or errors in my Firebug console. Thanks

  • Trying to modify the text of a document onkeydown is inserting text incorrectly.

    - by Benny
I have the following html: <html> <head> <script> function myKeyDown() { var myDiv = document.getElementById('myDiv'); myDiv.innerHTML = myDiv.innerHTML.replace(/(@[a-z0-9_]+)/gi, '<strong>$1</strong>'); } function init() { document.addEventListener('keydown', myKeyDown, false); document.designMode = "on"; } window.onload = init; </script> </head> <body> <div id="myDiv"> This is my variable name: @varname. If I type here things go wrong... </div> </body> </html> My goal is to do a kind of syntax highlighting on edit, to highlight variable names that begin with an @ symbol. However, when I edit the document's body, the function runs but the cursor is automatically shifted to the beginning of the body before the keystroke is performed. My hypothesis is that the keypress event is trying to insert the new character at a specified index, but when I run the replace function the indices get messed up so it defaults the character insertion point to the beginning. I'm using Firefox to test by the way. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks, B.J.

  • Does acts-as-taggable-on work on heroku?

    - by Martin
Hello, I have a question: does the acts-as-taggable-on gem work on Heroku? I'been trying but it doesn't seem to work. In my development machine works okay. I'm wondering if it's maybe because Heroku uses PostgreSQL and my local env SQLite and for some reason postgresql is not supported by the special tagging "magic"? I couldn't find any related info to this, so I would like to know other experiences with this. I guess is pretty rare since both the gem and heroku are very popular. ActionView::Template::Error (undefined method `interests' for "#<About:0x2b35d6125728>":About): <% unless @user.about.interests.empty? %> <p><strong>interests and passions</strong><br /> <% @user.about.interests.each do |tag| %> <%= tag %>, <% end -%></p><% end %> In my about.rb model i have acts_as_taggable_on :interests, :music, :movies, :books, :tvs Thank you in advance!

  • [Zend YouTubeAPP] failed to upgrade a token

    - by kwokwai
Hi all, I was testing Zend Gdata 1.10.1 in my localhost. I downloaded Zend Gdate from this link: http://framework.zend.com/download/webservices Inside the Zend Gdata zip file, there was a folder called demos. I extracted it and used the YouTudeVideoApp to upload a sample video to Youtube. But every time after I logged into Youtube, before it redirected me to my localhost, I received a warning message like this warning message: localhost: This website is registered with Google to make authorization requests, but has not been configured to send requests securely. We recommend that you continue the process only if you trust the following destination: localhost:8080/youtube/operations.php So I googled on how to resolve the problem of getting this warning message when I saw some people suggesed changing the value of $secure to True in operation.php. Here is the script mentioned: function generateAuthSubRequestLink($nextUrl = null) { $scope = 'http://gdata.youtube.com'; $secure = true; $session = true; if (!$nextUrl) { generateUrlInformation(); $nextUrl = $_SESSION['operationsUrl']; } $url = Zend_Gdata_AuthSub::getAuthSubTokenUri($nextUrl, $scope, $secure, $session); echo '<a href="' . $url . '"><strong>Click here to authenticate with YouTube</strong></a>'; } After I altered the value of $secure to True, I found that the warning message changed to this: localhost: Registered, secure. This website is registered with Google to make authorization requests The new warning message is somehow shorter and looks better than the previous warning message. But once I pressed the Allow Access button, it turned out to be this: ERROR - Token upgrade for CI3M6_Q3EOGkxoL-___wEYjffToQQ failed : Token upgrade failed. Reason: Invalid AuthSub header. Error 401 ERROR - Unknown search type - '' I don't know why this happened. Could you help me solve the problem please?

  • jQuery tooltip: Trouble with remove()

I'm using a jQuery tooltip plugin. I have HTML like this: <li class="term ui-droppable"> <strong>Fall 2011</strong> <li class="course ui-draggable">Biological Statistics I<a class="remove-course-button" href="">[X]</a></li> <div class="term-meta-data"> <p class="total-credits too-few-credits">Total credits: 3</p> <p class="median-GPA low-GPA">Median Historical GPA: 2.00</p> </div> </li> I want to remove the .course element. So, I attach a click handler to the <a>: function _addDeleteButton(course, term) { var delete_button = $('<a href="" class="remove-course-button" title="Remove this course">[X]</a>'); course.append(delete_button); $(delete_button).click(function() { course.remove(); return false; }).tooltip(); } This all works fine, in terms of attaching the click handler. However, when course.remove() is called, Firebug reports an error in tooltip.js: Line 282 tsettings is null if ((!IE || !$.fn.bgiframe) && tsettings.fade) { What am I doing wrong? If the link has a tooltip attached, do I need to remove it specially? UPDATE: Removing .tooltip() solve the problem. I'd like to keep it in, but that makes me suspect that my use of .tooltip() is incorrect here.

  • Ruby array, javascript and json issue

    - by JohnMerlino
    Hey all, I am unable to get a highcharts plugin to render a chart in a rails application: http://github.com/loudpixel/highcharts-rails I believe it has something to do with the sql queries to the database placed in a ruby array, which the javascript is unable to intepret. This is what I have: def panels pass = Student.find_by_sql('SELECT COUNT(*) FROM students WHERE student_state = 1') fail = Student.find_by_sql('SELECT COUNT(*) FROM students WHERE student_state = 2') student_data = [ {:name => 'Pass', :y => pass}, {:name => 'Fail', :y => fail} ] pie_label_formatter = ' function() { if (this.y > 15) return this.point.name; }' pie_tooltip_formatter = ' function() { return "<strong>" + this.point.name + "</strong>: " + this.y + " %"; }' @pie_chart = Highchart.pie({ :chart => { :renderTo => "pie-chart-container", :margin => [50, 30, 0, 30] }, :plotOptions => { :pie => { :dataLabels => { :formatter => pie_label_formatter, :style => { :textShadow => '#000000 1px 1px 2px' } } } }, :series => [ { :type => 'pie', :data => student_data } ], :subtitle => { :text => 'April 2010' }, :title => { :text => 'Student Status Chart' }, :tooltip => { :formatter => pie_tooltip_formatter }, }) Note if I put this: :data = student_data.to_json It actually returns a json string of my query as text in the browser. Also, if I hard code values (e.g. :y = 1), it will render the chart properly. However, any database query will not render the chart properly. So I'm not sure exactly what the issue is.   • Sort by date in XSL

    - by bethhilson
I am trying to sort by date for XML output. Here is my XSL: http://www.dnncreative.com -- <!-- Test to limit number of items displayed. Here only 5 items will be transformed --> <br></br> <!-- to open links in a new window, change target="_main" to target="_blank" --> <strong><a href="{link}" target="_blank"><xsl:value-of select="title"/></a></strong> <br> <!-- <xsl:value-of select="pubDate"/> --> </br> <!-- only display 100 characters of the description, and allow html --> <xsl:value-of disable-output-escaping="yes" select="description"/> I am trying to sort descending using the entereddate in my XML: Media Director 4/2/2009 01646359 Cleveland OH United States of America $0.00 - $0.00 / $0.00/hr - $0.00/hr http://employment.topechelon.com/web77391/jobseeker/sSetup.asp?runsearch=1&spJobAdId=01646359 http://employment.topechelon.com/web77391/jobseeker/sSetup.asp?runsearch=1&spJobAdId=01646359 Any help would be appreciated! Thanks Beth Hilson

  • Why does this JavaScript not correctly update input values?

    - by dmanexe
    I have two input fields, and without changing their names (i.e., I have to use the name with the brackets), how do I make this javascript code work? <script> function calc_concreteprice(mainform) { var oprice; var ototal; oprice = (eval(mainform.'estimate[concrete][sqft]'.value) * eval(mainform.'estimate[concrete][price]'.value)); ototal = (oprice); mainform.'estimate[concrete][quick_total]'.value = ototal; } </script> Here's the HTML of the input area. <tr> <td>Concrete Base Price</td> <td><input type="text" name="concrete[concrete][price]" value="" class="item_mult" onBlur="calc_concreteprice(document.forms.mainform);" /> per SF <strong>times</strong> <input type="text" name="concrete[concrete][sqft]" value="" class="item_mult" onBlur="calc_concreteprice(document.forms.mainform);" /> SF</td> <td> = <input type="text" name="concrete[concrete][quick_total]" value="" /></td> </tr> I know I can get it working by changing_the_input_name_with_underscores but I need to have the names with the brackets (storing the form contents in an array).

  • Are there any thead limitations that make it not print on each page in Firefox?

    - by SeanJA
    I have a table that has a <thead>, a <tfoot> and a <tbody>. It is supposed to print the thead and tfoot on each page in theory, but for some reason the thead does not if it contains certain elements together. This works: <thead> <tr> <td colspan="3">This works</td> <tr> <tr> <th colspan="2">column 1</th> <th> column 2 </th> </tr> </thead> This does not seem to work: <thead> <tr> <td colspan="3"> <h2>Header</h2> <address> <strong>address 1</strong> <br /> address 2 <br /> address 3 <br /> </address> <img src="/images/logo.png" alt="Logo" /> <h2>Another header</h2> <hr /> </td> </tr> <tr> <th colspan="2">column 1</th> <th> column 2 </th> </tr> </thead> Is there a reason for this not to work?
