Hi,
On view in IB I have numerous items (including view itself). ONLY one item has tag 0, yet following line works for ANY UITextBox other then the one with tag 0. Note that only ONE UITextBox has tag 0, why:
(UITextField *) [self.view viewWithTag:0]).text = @"foo";
Interesting that when triggered event received for the element with tag 0, I can get value of Tag 0 with no problem.
Is there a limitation to look for tag 0 elements?
Hi,
I am new to SSIS, so please bare with me.
I am trying to transfer data from one db to a new one. i am fetching data from one table say i fetch name of person, then i insert this into say Table Person. this will generate a personID which i want to insert into say Address Table. What should be the approach using SSIS. Any suggestions.
Dear Sir,
I'm having problem in the method how to add each of the database table to many spinners.
The data from one table must use one spinner to store. In my form has 3 spinner which require data from 3 table in database. Please show me some sample or the familiar one, because I have just started in this program. Thank You in Advance!
I have an app that is displaying metrics about defects in a project.
I have the option of making one query that returns all the defects, and from that I can break out about four different metrics (How many defects escaped QA in 90 days, 180 days, and then the same metrics again but only counting sev1/sev2 defects).
I could make four queries and limit the results to one so that I just get a count for each. Or I could make one query that encompass them all (all defects that escaped QA in 180 days) and then count up the difference.
I'm figuring worst case, the number of defects that escaped QA in the last six months will generally be less than 100, certainly less 500 worst case.
Which would you do-- four queryies with one result each, or one single query that on average might return 50, perhaps worst case 500?
And I guess the key question is-- where are the inflections points? Perhaps I have more metrics tomorrow (who knows, 8?) and a different average defect counts. Is there a rule of thumb I could use to help choose which approach?
We need to load an embedded version of a site written in Flash, and not originally designed to load multiple instances of itself, on a HTML page. The specific issue is how to get them to load in order when embedded, given that they are all being opened by the same instance of the flash player.
It's a complicated mapping application, and at the moment, the maps and data get intermixed as the session variables are overwritten by another instance starting to load before the previous one has finished. We need a way to have them load sequentially, one finishing before another starts to load.
The most we can specify in the URL is an &order=1 or similar. We have PHP and SQL on the backend.
Edit:
The embedded versions are being loaded in an iFrame of a parent site. One php file loads one swf, as many times as the parent site desires.
I Have a model like this
foo=models.char
bar=models.dateime
In wich several foos arrives in one day in different time. I need to list all the foos in a specific date, no matter the time they arrive.
I can't change the model, so splitting the bar in two fields(one for date and one for time) is out of reach right now :(
I don-t know how to use one table from one database and second table from another databse at the same time or copy data from table in one database to table from another databse.
I tried following query:
select * into NewTable from existingdb.dbo.existingTable;
But it doesnt't work.
From the OpenAL documentation:
The basic OpenAL objects are a
Listener, a Source, and a Buffer.
There can be a large number of
Buffers, which contain audio data.
Each buffer can be attached to one or
more Sources
My problem is, that I have one sound file which I need to play multiple times per second, at the same time. The sound is 2 seconds long. So it will overlap.
Would I need multiple filled buffers for this (= multiple times that sound in memory)?
If I would attach one Buffer to multiple Sources, would I be able to play the sound 10 times, overlapping itself, with just one copy in memory? Or would I still have to deal with 10 copies of that sound in memory?
So I have a couple of arrays
$array_1 = Array('one','two','three');
$array_2 = Array('red','blue','green');
Is there a dynamic way to create the Setters and Getters for an array with single value entries?
So the class would be something like:
class xFromArray() {
}
So the above if I passed $array_1 it would generate something like this:
private $one;
setOne($x) {
$one = $x;
}
getOne() {
return $one;
}
if I passed $array_2 it would generate something like this:
private $red;
setRed($x) {
$red = $x;
}
getRed() {
return $red;
}
So I would call it somehow like this? (My best guess but doesn't seem that this would work)
$xFromArray = new xFromArray;
foreach($array_1 as $key=>$data) {
$xFromArray->create_function(set.ucfirst($data)($data));
echo $xFromArray->create_function(get.ucfirst($data));
}
My primary question is:
Is this alot of loops?
while ($decimals < 50000 and $remainder != "0") {
$number = floor($remainder/$currentdivider); //Always round down! 10/3 =3, 10/7 = 1
$remainder = $remainder%$currentdivider; // 10%3 =1, 10%1
$thisnumber = $thisnumber . $number;
$remainder = $remainder . 0; //10
$decimals += 1;
}
Or could I fit more into it? -without the server crashing/lagging.
I'm just wondering,
Also is there a more effiecent way of doing the above? (e.g. finidng out that 1/3 = 0.3 to 50,000 decimals.)
Finally:
I'm doing this for a pi formulae the (1 - 1/3 + 1/5 - 1/7 etc.) one,
And i'm wondering if there is a better one. (In php)
I have found one that finds pi to 2000 in 4 seconds.
But thats not what I want. I want an infinite series that converges closer to Pi
so every refresh, users can view it getting closer...
see:
http://zombiewrath.com/pi.php (Old one) and
'zombiewrath.com/superpi.php' (Newer one)
But obv. converging using the above formulae takes ALONG time.
Is there any other 'loop' like Pi formulaes (workable in php) that converge faster?
Thanks alot...
i use ScriptManager.RegisterClientScriptInclude to include js file after partial postback it works fine
here :
**
ScriptManager.RegisterClientScriptInclude(this, typeof(test4), "1", Page.ResolveClientUrl("~/slideshow/js/slideshow.js"));
**
but i want to load more than one js files so i did this
**
ScriptManager.RegisterClientScriptInclude(this,typeof(test4),"one",
Page.ResolveClientUrl("~/slideshow/js/slideshow.js"));
ScriptManager.RegisterClientScriptInclude(this, typeof(test4), "two", Page.ResolveClientUrl("~/slideshow/js/slideImg.js"));
**
with two different string keys the first one works but the second not....please any help
I'm creating an application for iPhone which needs to handle large data.
So, I would like to know which one will be better to use : C++ Vectors or ObjectiveC's NSMutableArray?
Which one will be faster to access elements, delete elements, add elements etc.
Can some one guide me please?
I "accidentally" came across this weird but valid syntax
i=3
print i+++i #outputs 6
print i+++++i #outputs 6
print i+-+i #outputs 0
print i+--+i #outputs 6
(for every even no: of minus symbol, it outputs 6 else 0, why?)
Does this do anything useful?
Update (Don't take it the wrong way..I love python):
One of Python's principle says
There should be one-- and preferably only one --obvious way to do it. It seems there are infinite ways to do i+1
I'm working on an academic project which simulates a rather large queuing procedure in java. The core of the simulator rests within one package where there exist 8 classes each one implementing a single concept. Every class in the project follows SRP. These classes encapsulate the behavior of the simulator and inter-connect every other class in the project. The problem that I has arisen is that most of these 8 classes are, as is logical i think, tightly coupled and each one has to have working knowledge of every other class in this package in order to be able to call methods from it when needed. The application needs only one instance of each class so it might be better to create static fields for each class in a new class and use that to make calls -instead of preserving a reference in each class for every other class in the package (which I'm certain that is incorrect)-, but is this considered a correct design solution? or is there a design pattern maybe that better suits my needs?
I am trying to make method chaining work in conjunction with my constructors, but I am not exactly sure how to go about it. Here is my code thus far:
function Points(one, two, three) {
this.one = one;
this.two = two;
this.three = three;
}
Points.prototype = {
add: function() {
return this.result = this.one + this.two + this.three;
},
multiply: function() {
return this.result * 30;
}
}
var some = new Points(1, 1, 1);
console.log(some.add().multiply());
I am trying to call the multiply method on the return value of the add method. I know there is something obvious that I am not doing, but I am just not sure what it is.
Any thoughts?
hello, I've got one problem...
I created table(with one row and one column) for my site and then I put background for table using CSS where I defined image, after that I try to create in the first table another table with 3 rows, Dreamweaver doesn't allow me to do it, it puts new table after first, how can I solve this problem, thanks in advance...
I just downloaded and put an captcha test to my website. It's a free version and it does seem to do the job right. Is there any major difference between a free one and a professional one?
Is there a recommended one I should use? That's free :)
I'm trying to set up a test project looking like my own project just to get things working first and it looks like this:
/MainProject/inc/main.h
/MainProject/src/main.cpp
/LibProject/inc/test.h
/LibProject/src/test.cpp
I've found some tutorials, but I cant find out how to set up this when I have the inc and src folder? How would the CMakeLists.txt files look? Would I have one in /, one in each of the project folders? It seems like I dont need to have one in the inc and src folders?
I have data that looks like this:
> head(newdata)
zero one real
601 0.01273885 0.9872611 1
602 0.01273885 0.3242234 1
I want to select records where one is greater than .5
When I try this, I get "subscript out of bounds." Why am I getting this error? How do I perform this select?
newDataGoodPredict <- newdata[ which(one0.5),]
Error in newdata[which(one 0.5), ] : subscript out of bounds
I have two png image files that I would like my android app to combine problematically into one png image file and am wondering if it is possible to do so? if so, what I would like to do is just overlay them on each other to create one file.
the idea behind this is that I have a handful of png files, some with a portion of the image on the left with the rest transparent and the others with an image on the right and the rest transparent. and based on user input it will combine the two to make one file to display. (and i cant just display the two images side by side, they need to be one file)
is this possible and how so?
