  • Strange menu issue

    Just started out with Orchard and trying to just make pages and menus. I'm running into an issue where on my home page my menu shows: Home, Fruit, Vegetable, Carrot. I want it to show just Home, Fruit, Vegetable and when I click the respective item it adds the proper tabs. It DOES do it with Banana. ie: When I click Fruit, it shows Banana in the menu. But it always shows Carrot for some reason! I have the following setup. Navigation -Main Menu --Home --Fruit --Vegetable -Fruit Menu --Banana -Vegetable Menu --Carrot Widgits > Navigation > Main Menu, Fruit Menu, Vegetable Menu (Fruit and Vegetable Menus are in their own respective layers.) Path Examples: /Fruit, /Fruit/Banana, /Vegetable, /Vegetable/Carrot Thanks in advance.

  • WCF Service doesnt run on IIS!

    Hi, I have a WCF service hosted at local IIS. I created a ASP.NET website that consumes this service hosted at IIS. While running it from Visual Studio WebDev Server, everything works fine, but as soon as i run the same website [after hosting in IIS] from the browser, the website doesnt seem to be communicating with the Service! The same setup when runs from Visual Studio WebDev Server, doesnt function from IIS! Any know isues? Please help! Thanks

  • Problem with Classes in Python..

    Ok guys, I'm really new at python (and programming itself) so sorry for my ignorance, but I really needed to ask this. So im doing a wxPython project where I added several tabs for a notebook (each tab of the notebook = a class) and there is one tab where I added a checkbox (in a tab, lets call it for example Tab1), and what I want is that when someone checks it, a button that exists in other tab (class called for example tab2) gets hidden where previously it was being shown. Well I see that it isn't hard to accomplish this, but my problem is the classes (tab1 and tab2, in this example). I've been trying to figure it out by searching but I guess im not searching hard enough because I just can't get it right. If they were in the same class I wouldn't have a problem, but as they are in different classes, im having a huge struggle with this. Hope someone can help me, and sorry for my ignorance once again.

    Hey you guys (and girls), I have implemented the following CSS: #tab-navigation ul li:last-child { background-image: url(../images/tabs-end.gif); background-repeat: no-repeat; color: #fff; display: block; border: 1px solid red; background-position: right; } However, for some reason this is not working at all in IE (surprise!) - I read (after some research) that IE requires a DOCTYPE, but I already have <!DOCTYPE html PUBLIC "-//W3C//DTD XHTML 1.0 Transitional//EN" "http://www.w3.org/TR/xhtml1/DTD/xhtml1-transitional.dtd"> defined. Any ideas peeps?

I use my jar and a few more as libraries and all of them are signed this way, still, when I open the browser I get the warning that there is signed and unsigned code.     I believe that at one point, I saw a TinySVG implementation that worked in the browser, using the canvas element as the backend. I found a few sites that appeared to indicate it was at http://fuchsia-design.com/CanvaSVG/, however, that site appears to no longer exist. Is this project (or a similar one) still on the web anywhere?

  • scrollable tab bar widget solution

    I have a web page that I use to update a fairly complex data structure. The page itself has lots of information, so I developed some simple Tab-page control, with plain html. Each tab is a different page, so when the user click on a tab a post is issued to the new page. Fairly simply. The problem is that the page has about 10 tabs, so it no longer fits on screens. I'd like to know if you can advice some way to develop a scrollable tab bar or any other way to overcome this situation. maybe a widget or something... thanks a lot saludos sas

    Hi I've got a link on the web page that causes new browser window (tab) to be opened when it's clicked, like this: <a id="lnkNewWindow" target="_blank" href="http://google.com">Open window</a> I want to be able to track the window that will be created after this link is clicked. I'd like to perform some actions after the new window is closed. Is there any way to do this (preferably using jQuery)?

The question is visible in the preview and when tested (testing was completed eight times). The browser is internet explorer.   • Open a chrome tab from delayed javascript window.open

    When I window.open("http://blarg") in chrome, I get a new tab. If I delay the open, say using a jquery $(hrm).animate({},5e3,function(){window.open(url)); it opens the url in a new window with no status bar, etc — if I give it permission to pop-up that is. I'm looking for a way to get the instant behavior, that is, I wish to open a URL after an animation, but still in a new tab. I imagine I could get by with learning a way to instruct chrome to never ever open pop-ups and to always open them in tabs (I imagine there's a webkit setting, why it's not a built in is a mystery); but I'd rather try to find a way to do it from the javascript if possible. I somewhat doubt there's any way to do this though. I'm not aware of any javascript that's tab-aware.

    I installed scala-2.8.0.RC3 by extracting the tgz file into my cygwin (vista) home directory. I made sure to set $PATH to scala-2.8.0.RC3/bin. I start the REPL by typing: $ scala Welcome to Scala version 2.8.0.RC3 (Java HotSpot(TM) Client VM, Java 1.6.0_20). Type in expressions to have them evaluated. Type :help for more information. scala> Now when I tried to enter an expression scala> 1 + 'a' the cursor hangs there without any response. Granted that I have chrome open with a million tabs and VLC playing in the background, but CPU utilization was 12% and virtual memory was about 75% utilized. What's going on ? Do I have to set the CLASSPATH or perform other steps.

    Hello! I have a local phpMyAdmin (installed via apt-get) adn I'm tired of entering login and password every time I try to open it. Database contains no sensitive info, just test tables, and is visible only from 127.0.0.1 I want phpMyAdmin already be logged in as root user with password 1234 (for example) when I open it. How do I do that? P.S. Saving password in a browser is not what I want.

    Hi, I have an ASP.Net site, in which I am using a ListView with a Datapager. Apparently there is a bug with the Datapager, where it crashes if there is an empty ampersand (&) in the querystring. This is a known issue: https://connect.microsoft.com/VisualStudio/feedback/ViewFeedback.aspx?FeedbackID=357344&wa=wsignin1.0#tabs I see that there is a workaround given, but did not understand how to implement it.     I would like to be able to incorporate a simple game, written in Java as a component within a Flex Application. Am I crazy? Flex can display HTML, and SWF, it can also call JavaScript - but can I incorporate an applet somehow? I do NOT mean kludging it in as a sister component within a browser, but actually within the flex application itself, so that it could also run under Adobe Air, for instance.
