I'm writing a program that asks the user for input that contains accents. The user input string is tested to see if it matches a string declared in the program. What is the best way to parse python script file in C/C++ code

I am embedding python in C/C++ program. What I am trying to do is to parse the python script file from the C/C++ program, break the file to "blocks" so that each "block" is an a valid command in python code. Each block I need to put into std::string. What is the best way to do this, is there any Python C/C++ API function that supports this? why i need it - for GUI purpose. My program , which is writen in C, uses python to make some calculations. I run from C code , using python C API , python script and what i need is a way to capture python's output in my program. I catch it and evrything is ok, the problem is when the script involves user input. What happens is that i capture python's output after the script is finished , therefore, when there is an input command in the script i get a black screen .... i need to get all the printings before the input command. The first solution i tried is to parss the script to valid commands and run each comand, one after the other , seperatly .... for this i need to pars the script and deside what is a command and what is not ... The question is : what is the best way to do this and if there is somthing that allready does ?

The Ugly workaround i have came up with is to put grep error redirect to a temporary %LOGFILE%.aux java ... | grep ... 2%LOGFILE%.aux type %LOGFILE%.aux % %LOGFILE% del %LOGFILE%.aux What is a better solution?

Data in J2ME RecordStore does not persist across sessions

I'm building a mobile app with J2ME, and I've found that the data I write into a RecordStore can be accessed while the program is still running but it is lost after quitting and restarting it. No exception is thrown, the data is simply lost. UPDATE: Thanks everyone for your suggestions. I'm using NetBeans on Windows 7. I'm not sure if it is using the WTK version I have previously installed or another one it has installed somewhere else. I've checked my WTK folder for the files Pavel wrote about, but couldn't find them. Bash Templating: How to build configuration files from templates with Bash?

Hello. I'm writting a script to automate creating configuration files for Apache and PHP for my own webserver. I don't want to use any GUIs like CPanel or ISPConfig. I have some templates of Apache and PHP configuration files. Bash script needs to read templates, make variable substitution and output parsed templates into some folder. What is the best way to do that? I can think of several ways. Which one is the best or may be there are some better ways to do that? Powershell overruling Perl binmode?

I have a Perl script which creates a binary file while scanning a very large text file. It outputs to STDOUT which I redirect in the commandline to a file. To optimize it I'm making changes then seeing how low it takes to run. On Linux for this I use the "time" command. On Windows the best way to time a program seemed to be to PowerShell's "measure-command". This seemed to work fine but I noticed the generated files were larger. On examination I found that the files generated from within PowerShell begin with a BOM and contain CRLF pairs! My Perl script has a "binmode STDOUT" directive and does work correctly in a normal dosbox. Is this a bug or misfeature in PowerShell or measure-command? Has it affected others creating binary files by means other than Perl? Googling hasn't turned anything up so far. I'm using Perl 5.12, PowerShell v1.0 and Windows XP.

On my 100TB cluster, I need to find dirs and files that have a "deny" ACE within their ACL, then remove that ACE on each instance. What I need to do next is extract $ACENUMBER and $PATHTOFILE so that I can execute this command: chmod -a# $ACENUMBER $PATHTOFILE Additional issue is that the find command (above) gives a relative path, whereas I need the full path. I guess that would need to be edited somehow. Any guidance on how to accomplish this?

IIS 7 Request routing

Not sure the title is right. I have my site configured in IIS7 and I have another partner site which runs on a different port eg. http:// localhost:1234 /mysite. Can I have my parent site to have a virtual site http:// localhost /mysite to route requests to the partner site http://localhost:1234 /mysite. I should not redirect but I should basically proxy the requests. Any help here is appreciable. Thanks in advance.

I am trying to build Linux From Scratch, and now I am at chapter 5.4, which tells me how to build Binutils. I have added: <VirtualHost *:80> ProxyPass / http://www.domain.com:8080/sitename/ ProxyPassReverse / http://www.domain.com:8080/sitename/ </VirtualHost> But, of course, this is not workig. Is it some simple configuration i can use for such redirect or i'm doomed to copy-paste a 100+ line configs from tutorials?

Is there some simple way to do it, without million of .replaceAll() calls? So for example: Ðonardan = Djonardan, Blaß = Blass and so on. Converting a PHP associative array to a JSON associative array

I am converting a look-up table in PHP which looks like this to JavaScript using json_encode: AbilitiesLookup Object ( [abilities:private] => Array ( [1] => Ability_MeleeAttack Object ( [abilityid:protected] => [range:protected] => 1 [name:protected] => MeleeAttack [ability_identifier:protected] => MeleeAttack [aoe_row:protected] => 1 [aoe_col:protected] => 1 [aoe_shape:protected] => [cooldown:protected] => 0 [focusCost:protected] => 0 [possibleFactions:protected] => 2 [abilityDesc:protected] => Basic Attack ) .....snipped... And in JSON, it is: {"1":{"name":"MeleeAttack","fof":"2","range":"1","aoe":[null,"1","1"],"fp":"0","image":"dummy.jpg"},.... The problem is I get a JS object, not an array, and the identifier is a number. I see 2 ways around this problem - either find a way to access the JSON using a number (which I do not know how) or make it such that json_encode (or some other custom encoding functions) can give a JavaScript associative array. (Yes, I am rather lacking in my JavaScript department). Note: The JSON output doesn't match the array - this is because I do a manual json encoding for each element in the subscript, before pushing it onto an array (with the index as the key), then using json_encode on it. To be clear, the number are not sequential because it's an associative array (which is why the JSON output is not an array).

Rework filename from mod_pagespeed back to normal files

I am hoping someone can help me with this problem. I am moving to a new server and not using mod_pagespeed any more. However We not that we have lots of external links that link to images on our server using the strange mod_pagespeed filenames. This is not an issue but we do not want to have lots of 404 errors. I'm assuming that the parameters are enumerated (starting at zero), for each "new" Select query. However, in this case where the two Select queries are nested, I would have expected the output to have two parameters named @0 and @1. My query is based on one that Rob Conery gave on his blog as a preview of the "Pakala" query tool that became Subsonic 3. I have a windows 7 laptop that I use to remote in to work, which is a XP sp3. I have a brother MFC-8670dn printer. I have the win7 print drivers installed and working on the win7. I made local printers accessible over the RDP. I installed the xp drivers for the Brother printer. So my question is, " Is there a way that I can print from my win7 machine remotely connected to a xp sp3 system"? Or is there no way that I can put the correct drivers on the xp machine to have it redirect to my laptop(win7)

I'm getting such an headache trying to elaborate an appropriate algorithm to go from a START position to a EXIT position in a maze. Also, if the agent arrives with a remaining energy of zero or less, he dies, so we print something like "Impossible". So, in the input 10 is the initial agent's energy, 3 4 is the START position (i.e. column 3, line 4) and we have a maze 7x6. Think this as a kind of labyrinth, in which I want to find the exit that gives the agent a better remaining energy (shortest path). In case there are paths which lead to the same remaining energy, we choose the one which has the small number of steps, of course. I need to know if a DFS to a maze 500x500 in the worst case is feasible with these limitations and how to do it, storing the remaining energy in each step and the number of steps taken so far. The output means the agent arrived with remaining energy= 5 to the exit pos 1 4 in 2 steps. If we look carefully, in this maze it's also possible to exit at pos 3 1 (column 3, row 1) with the same energy but with 3 steps, so we choose the better one. With these in mind, can someone help me some code or pseudo-code? I have troubles working this around with a 2D array and how to store the remaining energy, the path (or number of steps taken)....

I've read a lot of Postfix tutorials on how to set it up this way or that, but they are usually geared towards computers that are servers ie they have a static IP have a domain name are always connected to the same network My requirements are, I guess: Ability to redirect mail for local users to another server of my choosing. No listening for incoming SMTP connections - outgoing only Ability to route outgoing mail via an external SMTP server with authentication (and perhaps encryption) If not Postfix, I need an MTA which can queue up mails in case it temporarily has no internet connection.

How to parse japanese char (utf8?) from imap_fetchbody?

I am pulling down an email which has english, chinese and japanese in the email. I was using PHP/EZComponents to do this, but a certain japanese char was just not coming through so I am switching to php imap_* funcs to see if they will work. This is what I have below, and the output I am getting. I need to decode this somehow... I know this has been well (read:overly/chaotically) documented all over the web, but I dont have time to earn a PHD in this right now. Hey Friends, I'm trying to implement a java "hash" function in ruby. For reference, the above java code given these strings returns the corresponding long: "00038c53790ecedfeb2f83102e9115a522475d73" => -2059313900129568948 "0" => -3473083983811222033 "001211e8befc8ac22dd265ecaa77f8c227d0007f" => 3234260774580957018 Thoughts: I'm having problems getting the UTF8 bytes from the ruby string In ruby I'm using hexdigest, I suspect I should be using just digest instead The java code is taking the md5 of the UTF8 bytes whereas my ruby code is taking the bytes of the md5 (as hex) Any suggestions on how to get the exact same output in ruby?
