• Determine signals connected to a given slot in Qt

  I've injected myself into a Qt application, and I'm attempting to figure out what signals a given slot is connected to, but can't find any information on doing this. Is there a mechanism for doing this out of the box? If so, is this exposed to QtScript? (If not, I can wrap it easily enough.) If there is no such mechanism, what would be the best way to add it? I cannot manipulate the existing application outside of simple hooking, but I could hook QObject::connect and store the connections myself, just not sure if that's the best way to go about it.

  I am having issues with authentication for my webview I have a https address that requires authentication but it isn't basic authentication. When I access chrome on my phone and go to this site I get a dialogue box that asks me for a username and password I want to do something similar but all the attempts at authentication I have made have failed using the what I have found as they all seem to be for basic authentication and I don't think this is what it is. any help is appreciated, sorry if this is duplicate but I have looked and found nothing similar .

• Ignoring focusLost(), SWT.Verify, or other SWT listeners in Java code.

  Outside of the actual SWT listener, is there any way to ignore a listener via code? For example, I have a java program that implements SWT Text Widgets, and the widgets have: SWT.Verify listeners to filter out unwanted text input. ModifyListeners to wait for the correct number of valid input characters and automatically set focus (using setFocus())to the next valid field, skipping the other text widgets in the tab order. focusLost(FocusEvent) FocusListeners that wait for the loss of focus from the text widget to perform additional input verification and execute an SQL query based on the user input. The issue I run into is clearing the text widgets. One of the widgets has the format "####-##" (Four Numbers, a hyphen, then two numbers) and I have implemented this listener, which is a modified version of SWT Snippet Snippet179. The initial text for this text widget is " - " to provide visual feedback to the user as to the expected format. When that input is received, the listener changes the text back to " - " (four spaces, a hyphen, then two spaces). The problem is that messageboxes seem to create a focusLost event, and using the .setText(string) method is subject to SWT.Verify listeners that are present on the text widget. • How to load a page with its default values after a postback

  I'm creating user controls that i will put into an update panel and make them visible only when required using triggers. Once visible it will float in a dialog box so it has a close button which will just hide the control on client side. The controls have multiple post back states, like a wizard, i'm using a multi view control to accomplish that. My problem is that once the user is at step number two in the control, if the user closes the dialog, than opens the dialog again, (note that the control is made visible on the server and reloaded by updating the updatepanel) the second step will still be displayed. The reason is . because whenever there is a postback the control will load its state using the viewstate, even if EnableViewState is false it will still load it using the LoadControlState method. so my quesion is how can i force a user control to load fresh with its default values without any postback data.

  Hi guys, I am attempting to display a list of items (the style and controltemplate for these items are defined elsewhere) and i want to be able to add/remove as many as i want to. As i do not have infinite screen realestate I am displaying these in a ListBox control. This is the screen i have to date: What is going to happen is this. When i click the New button, i want the item to appear in the outlined area. So now for the problem: I want, when i click the New... Button, a new item to appear in the ListBox (outlined). Is it possible to do this using XAML? I am trying to work on seperating the business logic from the interface, so if there were some way to acheive this in XAML i would appreciate it. If not,can i use the custom templated item i have created in C# so that it will appear as the template specifies in the list box instead of like a normal ListBoxItem Thanks in advance!

• Why does the jQuery on this page work for Internet Explorer 8, but nothing else?

  I made a web page that uses jQuery: http://benmccormack.com/demo/MichaelMassPsalm/Psalm16Mode5.html When you change the selection in the combo box from Higher Key to Lower Key, all of the music images are supposed to change their source to be images that represent the lower key signature. This works great in IE8, but it won't work in Safari, Firefox, or Chrome. Why not? And another issue is the checkboxes. If i dont pick anything, it inserts "Y", even if i pick the other "N" it does "Y", and i dont want it to be possible that you can check both of them. how do i do?

• Possible Encoding Issue Reading HTM File using .Net Streamreader

  I have an HTML file with a ® (copyright) and ™ (trademark) symbol in the text. These are just two among many other symbols. When I read the html file into a literal control it converts the symbols to something else. The copyright symbol converts to ? (open box in ff) The trademark symbol converts to ™ (as expected) If (System.IO.File.Exists(FullName)) Then Dim StreamReader1 As New System.IO.StreamReader(FullName) Contents.Text = StreamReader1.ReadToEnd() StreamReader1.Close() End If Contents is a <asp:Literal runat="server" ID="Contents"></asp:Literal> and it's the only control in the aspx page. From some research I think this is related to the encoding but I don't know why it would change how to fix it. The html file does not contain any Content-Type settings in the head section.

• Can't access dojo object property using string variable

  I am retrieving a json associative array using a dojo xhrGet request. The data comes back just fine, however I need the app to be able to display the keys and their properties (or values) without knowing the keys beforehand. I know the syntax is correct because if I replace .key with an actual key value it will display correctly. It appears it doesn't like a string as the key. • swf file upload control not filtering the files for the second time

  iam using swf file upload control in my application developed in asp.net & c#.net. i am having a dropdown box with file types like jpeg,.xls ,.txt etc. so when i select particular file type in the dropdown and clicking on the button would open a filedialog showing only the files of the type selected in the dropdown. The problem is that when i select "jpeg" for the first time file dialog shows only jpeg files. when i select ".xls" next time it shows again the prevoiusly selected jpeg files and not currently selected ".xls". but while debugging it was found the file type definition in the swf code has been changed to .xls . can any one guide why the file upload control not mapping the selected file for the second time

• Quartz2d vector images vs OpenGL vector description?

  How big of a difference is the description language of Quartz2d to OpenGL ES? It seems they are similar in description power... except that Quartz is mostly 2d and that OpenGL is out of the box 3d ( but can be made 2d focused ). Are the mappings from 2dQuartz to 2d OpenGL ES that different? Im sure there must be differences in some specific features that might be handled differently on one vs another... but to do a translator? Anyone have experience with both OpenGL and Quartz2d have some insights?

  ImageScience is cool and light. I am using it in my sinatra app. But I can't understand how can I crop image with not square form and how can I make thumbnail with two dimensions. Is this a configuration issue on my linux box, or just a difference in the way namespaces and autoloading is handled on the different operating systems

• Jquery Autocomplete Unable to Empty Input on Internet Explorer

  Hello, I created a rounded box/button and sliced its first corner, the middle bar (which repeats horizontally to adjust the width of the button text/content) and the last corner and used following markup: <div id="left-corner"></div> <div id="middle-bar">About Us</div> <div id="right-corner"></div> These divs have corresponding images from CSS and are floated left. Those three divs create a single rounded button wiht text About Us which is fine. Problem: I have also created similar three slices of hover images but I wonder how to apply hover to those buttons because if I use :hover with these hovered slices, then even hovering on corner images also creates hovering effect. One alternative is to use fixed width buttons and slice buttons completely but I do not want to do that.

• How to continuously fade a BitmapData to a certain color?

  I'm drawing stuff on a bitmapData and I need to continuously fade every pixel to 0x808080 while still drawing (its for a DisplacementMapFilter)... I think this illustrates my problem: http://www.ventdaval.com/lab/grey.swf The simpler approach I tried was drawing a semi-transparent grey box on it, but it never reaches a single color (i.e. 0x808081 will never be turned to 0x808080)... The same kind of thing happens with a ColorMatrixFilter trying to progressively reduce the saturation and/or contrast. (the example above is applying a filter with -10 contrast every frame). I'm trying paletteMap now, and I'm sensing this could be the way to go, but I haven't been able to get it... any ideas?

I want to change the options in a combo box depending on the value selected by the user on a previous combo.. In the combo box i want to display a certain value (Model Name ) but for quering a table i'll pass the corresponding code of the model :(... sounds simple enough ..unfortunately not able to implement it I have found this problem on this site but the solution seems an overkill for my "small" problem..was hoping if anyone could guide me towards a more simpler solution... • Is VS 2010 SharePoint functionality good enough to replace WSP Builder?

  I have been using WSP builder up until now with VS 2008. I recently upgraded my IDE to VS 2010, and have heard that VS 2010 now includes functionality to work with MOSS directly. If you guys have had any experience with this new MOSS functionality and have come from a WSP builder background I would like to hear what you think. Just to add more focus to my question, I am not interested in ease of deployment at this stage, only the ability to wrap up a WSP package, so I can ship this off to production machines. So can VS 2010 out of the box create WSP packages from class library projects, like WSP Builder does?

• DWR and Jquery into spring MVC 2.5

  Hi, From my shallow reading, Spring MVC does not support jquery directly. It does enable integration with DWR framework. From my understanding of DWR, it is an ajax framework that allows you to call javas methods from javascript. Can I use both in my application? With Jquery handling most of the javascript code and client side interaction and DWR making the ajax calls? I am leaning towards learning jquery but there is no out of the box support for it in spring 2.5.
