  • JPA Secondary Table Issue

    I have a three tables: User, Course, and Test. Course has a User foreign key and Test has a Course foreign key. I am having trouble mapping the Test collection for each User since I need an intermediary step from User - Course - Test. I am trying to use a SecondaryTable since the User key for the Test is its associated Course row. Am I on the right track using SecondaryTable or is there a way to use a JoinTable without the inverseJoinColumn?

  • Support for encoding query string or POST data in YUI ?

    How do you encode a javascript object/hash (pairs of properties and values) into a URL-encoded query string with YUI (2.7.0 or 3.0.0 Beta) ? I want to do the equivalent of Object.toQueryString() from Prototype: I need this to encode parameters for GET and POST requests with YAHOO.util.Connect. It turns out YAHOO.util.Connect has a setForm() method to serialize a form but that still leaves me out cold to encode parameters for GET requests, or the 4th parameter of YAHOO.util.Connect.asyncRequest() to pass post data.

Is this a technical limitation? EDIT People seem to think there is only one constant pointer expression. Is that is really true, though?     I have a following string and I want to extract image123.jpg. ..here_can_be_any_length "and_here_any_length/image123.jpg" and_here_also_any_length image123 can be any length (newimage123456 etc) and with extension of jpg, jpeg, gif or png. I assume I need to use preg_match, but I am not really sure how to code it. Any help will be appreciated. Thanks in advance.

    Hi, I have a newbie question,, how do i add a string template to the views folder in a .net mvc project? i have added a reference to StringTemplate.dll and antlr.runtime.dll but seems that is not enough. i.e. when i right-click on views and choose Add New Item i can't find a file with .st extension in the list that i get... how do i achieve that?     I'm getting this message,"The string '7/22/2006 12:00:00 AM' is not a valid AllXsd value.", when deserializing an XML, the element contains a date, this is the property that is supposed to be mapped to the element: [XmlElement("FEC_INICIO_REL",typeof(DateTime))] public DateTime? FechaInicioRelacion { get; set; } Am I doing something wrong?
