    Is there a good open source or reasonably priced EER modeling tool for MySQL besides MySQL Workbench? I find the MySQL Workbench interface to be clunky. I would like to be able to manage my production schema beginning all design changes in the EER and propogating those out to my schema for created and altered tables.   • Make a table row's text editable immediately

    I have an NSTableView in my user interface, where new rows are added when the user presses a button or keyboard shortcut. Each row consists of two text cells (the table is comprised of two columns). Is there a way to immediately select the first text cell of a new row which is added? So, basically, I would like the user to be able to press the button, adding a new row to the table and then having it editable straight away.

  • Adobe Air: Is it possible to save files to a network path (osx)

    I was wondering if it would be possible to write a file, not to the local system, but to a connected server or other network path.   • cellForRowAtIndexPath not being called, but rowsInSections is and it's delegate is set

    I searched around prior to posting this and made sure I hadn't missed anything obvious, though I have a feeling I am missing something basic. I'm using this as a sidebar navigation view. I tried making them static cells and pre-populating them, but they were blank that way as well. When I do it this way I can see everything gets called except that. Is ISupportInitialize ONLY used during construction/"initial" initialization... or can it be used later when you want to add new child controls to an existing parent control?     Hi there, The project in question is about different endpoints communicating with each other. An endpoint sends events (beyond the scope of the current problem) and can process incoming events. Everything compiles nicely, but the linker complaints about undefined references to type-specific event classes, like Event<TelegramFormatA>::Event(....) . I tried explicit instantiation using template class AbstractEndPoint<TelegramFormatA>; but couldn't get past the aforementioned linker errors. Any ideas would be appreciated.

For example I have a main class "index" this class has several methods which need to inherited from other classes and I have created seperate classes for it like class "banner", class "content", class "footer" Not only this but class "content" has several methods to be inherited from other classes like class "gallery", class "news", etc I found out that multiple inheritance is not allowed, and using interface I cannot write codes in its methods, so how can i achieve a solution for this problem.

  • Should all the using directives for namespaces be inside the namespace?

    Microsoft StyleCop provided a warning when the using directives for namespaces are provided outside of the namespace. Is this really required as my view on this is that using dircetives for namespaces is for providing a alias name for namespace and for removing the need for providing the namespace name when a class/interface is used. I dont think it will be used for loading the assembly.

    In Xamarin I've got a .jar I've imported using a Java Binding Library. One of the callbacks has a Java.Lang.Object parameter which gives me Java.Util.HashMap and Java.Util.ArrayList at runtime. I'm abstracting this SDK behind a cross-platform interface, so I need to convert this to a .NET type. It there anything like the ArrayAdapter except in reverse that can convert the Java types to their .NET equivalents?
