  • git difftool, open all diff files immediately, not in serial

    The default git diff behavior is to open each diff file in serial (wait for previous file to be closed before opening next file). I'm looking for a way to open all the files at once - in BeyondCompare for example this would open all the files in tabs within the same BC window. This would make it easier to review a complex set of changes; flick back and forwards between the diff files and ignore unimportant files.

    Hey guys, I need to be able to get the TITLE and DESCIPTION metadata out of a page. I've been trying to do this but I've been getting more errors than actual results. (I have an array of about 10 URLS, usually only about 2 of them give me the descrption. I have yet to get the title). So how do I, in PHP, get the Desc and Title from a remote page, and if there is none or if there's an error, ignore it? -Dylan

    We need to have a web service that queries a sharepoint list using CAML, but we do not know what version of the list that we are using. Version introduced a new field we want to use in the query if it is present, but just ignore that otherwise. If I put it in the query on the old version, we get no results. How should I check if the field exists before setting up the query?

  • Why doesn't nHibernate support LIMIT when doing "join fetch"?

    In nHibernate, if you do an HQL query with "join fetch" to eagerly load a child collection, nHibernate will ignore SetMaxResults and SetFirstResult and try to retrieve every single item from the database. Why? This behavior is specific to HQL, as ICriteria supports eager loading (with an outer join, though) and LIMIT.   • What's the proper response to WM_ENDSESSION with ENDSESSION_CLOSEAPP and wParam == FALSE?

    According to the WM_ENDESSION docs, when lParam is ENDSESSION_CLOSEAPP and wParam is FALSE, "the application should not shut down". So, should I just ignore that and use the default response? What is it's purpose? (I'm listening to Windows events/messages in Qt (C++) to shutdown some launched processes, but that's just the context and shouldn't have any bearing here...)

    I have an server (available via ssh) on the internet that my friend and I use for working on projects together. We have started using git for source control. Our setup currently is as follows: Friend created repository on server with git init named project.friend.git I cloned project.friend.git on server to project.jesse.git I then cloned project.jesse.git on server to my local machine using git clone jesse@server:/git_repos/project.jesse.git I work on my local machine and commit to the local machine. When I want to push my changes to the project.jesse.git on server I use git push origin master. My friend is working on project.friend.git. When I want to get his changes I do pull jesse@server:/git_repos/project.friend.git. Everything seems to be working fine, however, I am now getting the following error when I do git push origin master: localpc:project.jesse jesse$ git push origin master Counting objects: 100, done.   • Use only alpha channel of texture in OpenGL?

    Hey, I'm trying to draw a constant color to the framebuffer and blend it using the alpha channel from an RGBA texture. I've been looking at glBlendFunc and glBlendColor, but can't seem to figure out a way to ignore the RGB values from the texture. I'm thinking I'll have to pull out the alpha values myself and make a second texture with GL_ALPHA. Is there a better way to do this? Thanks!

    I have an Executors.newFixedThreadPool(1) that I send several different tasks to (all implementing Runnable), and they get queued up and run sequentially correct? What is the best way to only allow one of each task to be either running or queued up at one time? I want to ignore all tasks sent to the ExecutorService that are already in the queue.

I look for a solution wich should work for an unlimited number of subfolders: "home/{f1}/{f2}/.../{fn}"

I'm using PHP and I have the following regex expression /([^a-zA-Z0-9])GC([A-Z0-9]+)/ This matches items like GCABCD GC123A, etc. What i need to do is EXCLUDE GCSTATS from this.   • iPhone scrollView won't scroll after keyboard is closed

    I was trying to implement a way to have the UITextField move up when the keyboard opened so that the user could see what they were typing but after implementing the code - it locks my scroll. The view will scroll when the user first gets to that view but after inputting text and closing the keyboard it locks the view.     I would like to render an event to take up the entire space in a cell. For instance in the month view. Out of the box, the date is displayed on top, and then the event underneath. I want to ignore the date text and display the event over the intire cell, I don't want to hardcode the height of the event.
