    Hi, I'm using ruby to sort an array where each element in the array is another array. I have this: Data = Data.SortBy { |Info| info[3] } example data in this column: 3.1 2 5.65 -1 0.4 -9.43 -10.87 -2.3 It should sort this into: 5.65 3.1 2 0.4 -1 -2.3 -9.43 -10.87 But it comes out like this: 5.65 3.1 2 0.4 -1 -10.87 -2.3 -9.43 It's only comparing the first char of the float... not the whole number?

    I have an error message like this: <span class="errorMessage">Your input sucks!</span> and I need to determine when it changes. the validation framework I'm using sets the text when there's an error and removes it when it's complete. I'm hoping to tap into that by watching for changes to the text property of the element using jquery. Any idea of how to go about doing this? Thanks!

    I'm curious how I can create a DIV (or anything really) that I can fade (or change opacity of) when a user scrolls down the page. This DIV would sit at the top of the page, but only be clearly visible when at the very top of the page. Additionally, it would be ideal if I I could have this element fade back in onmouseover, regardless of the current scrolled position on the page.

    To make the Toolbar look native in Ubuntu (like the application in this video: https://www.youtube.com/watch?feature=player_embedded&v=sO8hiPreNBg), I don't want to show a border. In my main window of my application I am able to set the property for the border width to zero on the GtkBox under tab "common". But on a dialog (created via "quickly add dialog") there is no option on the GtkBox to set the property under "common". The property for the border width sill not appears under common! What can I do to solve this problem? I tried to create a Window-Element and tried to delete the Dialog-Element. Result: Then I was able to set this property in Glade but I could not do anything with the Window-Element and its Child-Elements (e.g. set the native look for its toolbar) in the corresponding .py-File (for the ui-File) because I destroyed dependencies...

You can probably derive from the error that I am just trying to convert a ruby variable to java using to_java. This works fine on my windows machine and I have confirmed the gems are the same but I don't think this has to do with gems. I lied. I changed my JAVA_HOME back on my windows machine and this error still occurs. So now the code doesn't run on either machine. I recently installed git on my windows machine and added the code to a repository. But I haven't really done anything with it. All it said was it will convert all LF to CRLF...That shouldn't change anything though should it? Any ideas on why I am now getting these errors? I haven't changed anything on my windows machine in months except for installing git.

    Hello, I have a list of radio buttons that are inside a DIV called "radio-btns-wrapper-wjs", this DIV slides down/up when you click on a 'trigger' element, in my case a < span with the class "selected-search-wjs". The DIV "radio-btns-wrapper-wjs" slides back up when the user selects one of the radio buttons. This DIV also slides back up when the user does not take any action (does not select a radio button) but has already moved his mouse over "radio-btns-wrapper-wjs" DIV and then moves it out. So far, so good. What I need is to have the same DIV, "radio-btns-wrapper-wjs", slide back up when the user moves his mouse out from the < span "selected-search-wjs" element but NOT if the user moves his mouse over the DIV "radio-btns-wrapper-wjs". The thing is that is that if do this: $('.selected-search-wjs').mouseleave(function() { $('.radio-btns-wrapper-wjs').slideUp(); }); The DIV with the radio buttons, "radio-btns-wrapper-wjs", slides back up as soon as I leave that DIV to select a radio button. I need a condition that says something like: "Hide the DIV "radio-btns-wrapper-wjs" if the user hovers over you and then hovers out. Also, hide this same DIV if the user moves his mouse away from the < span "selected-search-wjs", but NOT if he moves his mouse over the DIV "radio-btns-wrapper-wjs"." Does all this make sense? Now, when I swipe on the div element, I was expecting it to actually trigger the event. This works in iPod touch as expected but does not work on my Android device unless I randomly start swiping everywhere until I happen to swipe on that small wrapper div element itself. I am not sure how to explain this but hink of it as sending events to the wrapper div itself. Both use the WebKit engine. Can someone tell me if I am doing something wrong?

    I am trying to find the location of an element in the array. I have tried to use this code i generated for(i=0;i<10;i++) { if (strcmp(temp[0],varptr[i])==0) j=i; } varptr is a pointer which points to array var[11][10] and it is by the definition *varptr[11][10]. I have assigned strings to var[i] and i want to get the "i" number of my element NOT THE ADRESS. Thanks for any comment. EDit: temp is also a pointer which points to the string that i want to check. Also i am using the 2D array for keeping variable names and their address. So yes i want to keep it inside a 2D array. The question is this code is not working at all, it does not assigns i to j, so i wonder where is the problem with this idea? writing a "break" does not change if the code works or not, it just optimizes the code a little.     Some of my web app users with IE6 are complaining of a javascript error: IEPNGFix: unclickable children of element <div id="header"> I don't have a div on the page with id=header. I searched my code for "IEPNGFix" and could not find anything. Odd thing is--they're saying it started happening today. But I haven't deployed anything in the past two days. What do you think is the solution? Or can you shed any light?

    Hello, all, I'm having trouble implementing my OpenID provider with DNOA 3.4.3. Everything was going absolutely peachy until I needed AX support as well. I set AXFetchAsSregTransform in the web config, as recommended by Andrew at http://groups.google.com/group/dotnetopenid/browse_thread/thread/5629a24c0a7e8d99. Doing this caused me to get the exception "Sequence Contains More Than One Element" on my decide.aspx page, however, and I haven't been able to get past it. The following line is throwing the exception: Edit: Strangely enough, this is not the line throwing the error anymore. The SendResponse() is now triggering the exception ClaimsRequest requestedFields = ProviderEndpoint.PendingRequest.GetExtension(); ProviderEndpoint.SendResponse() Any thoughts on why this may be? Any help would be greatly appreciated!     I'm currently integrating my Wix projects in MSBuild. It is necessary for me to pass multiple values to the Wix project. One value will work (ProductVersion in the sample below). <Target Name="BuildWixSetups"> <MSBuild Condition="'%(WixSetups.Identity)'!=''" Projects="%(WixSetups.Identity)" Targets="Rebuild" Properties="Configuration=Release;OutputPath=$(OutDir);DefineConstants=ProductVersion=%(WixSetups.ISVersion)" ContinueOnError="true"/> </Target> However, how do I pass multiple values to the DefineConstants key? I've tried all the 'logical' separators (space, comma, semi-colon, pipe-symbol), but this doesn't work. Has someone else come across this problem? Solutions that don't work: Trying to add a DefineConstants element does not work because DefineConstants needs to be expressed within the Properties attribute.

However I am recieving the following error message Server Error in '/' Application. Sequence contains no matching element Now, I've checked and the this.ProductOptions variable contains 3 results. Whats does this error meen and how can I debug it?

  • jQuery UI sortable scroll helper element offset Firefox issue

    I have a problem with a jQuery UI 1.7.2 sortable list in Firefox 3.6, IE7-8 work fine. When I'm scrolled down a bit, the helper element seems to have an offset of the same height that I'm scrolled down from the mouse pointer which makes it impossible to see which item you originally started dragging. How do I fix this or work around the issue? If there is no fix what is a really good alternative drag-able plugin? Here are my initialization parameters for the sortable. $("#sortable").sortable( {placeholder: 'ui-state-highlight' } ); $("#sortable").disableSelection();

  • What is the Relative Performance of Pseudo-Class and Custom Selectors?

    It's my understanding that, in terms of selector speed, that #ID selectors are fastest, followed by element selectors, and then .class selectors. I have always assumed that pseudo-class selectors and custom selectors (those in the form ':selector') are similar to .class selectors, but I realised that I'm just not sure. I realise that this does depend on the complexity of the code within the pseudo-class/custom selector, so I guess I'd like to know the answer with this excluded as factor. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks.
