• Visual Studio 2008 Web Project error: Unable to start program http://localhost:port

  I am re-hashing this question because I have looked at over 50 threads in different forums and have not been able to get a resolution to my problem. Here are the specs: Windows XP SP3, Visual Studio 2008 SP1, .NET 3.5, ASP. NET MVC 2 project, IE 7 (was IE 8) Up until a few days ago I was not having any issues. It is now happening on any solution that I try to debug. I start a debug session (F5), the solution rebuilds, a VS development web server starts and then I get this error: Unable to start program http://localhost:2012/ If I open a web browser and enter the URL the application loads up. I had upgraded to IE 8 a few weeks ago and read there may be some issues so it has been uninstalled and I am currently on IE 7. Also, while IE 8 was installed I had switched my default browser to Firefox but my current default broweser is now IE7. I have reveiewed the threads on this site and others and have not been able to fix the issue. Any help would be appreciated.

• Error in Visual Studio 2008 with SSRS 2005 report projects

  Has anyone found a good workaound for opening or editing an SSRS 2005 report project with Visual Studio 2008 yet? Will the SQL server 2008 tools be the migration path for these report projects in the future? I really dont want to have to keep VS2005 installed forever just to update SSRS reports. After an upgrade to VS2008 an existing solution that contains a VS2005 SSRS reports project will not open. From what I understand the SQL Server 2005 tools dont know about VS2008 so they will not integrate into the IDE. So currently I switch back to VS2005 for any updates to this project, and get an error loading project message everytime I open the solution in 2008. EDIT on solution: I was able to install the shared component for BDIS from the SQL2008 disc and am now able to open and update my SSRS 2005 .rdl project items within VS2008. Note to others: If you edit your SSRS 2005 reports in VS2008 and re-save you will not be able to edit them in VS2005 anymore, or deploy them to a 2005 server. They are up-converted to 2008 report files.

  I'm loading content via an AJAX call into a table row added to the DOM on the fly. I'm calling the datepicker functionality in my callback function and the calendar shows fine. However, when I click on the date, I get an error: inst is null.   Are UITextFields not meant to be part of the LogicTests and instead part of the ApplicationTest target? I have a factory class that is responsible for creating and returning an (iPhone) UITextField and I'm trying to unit test it. • Facebook connect ifUserConnected() does not work - FB.Connect is undefined error

  I'm trying to integrate Facebook connect to my website. The login button appears and i'm able to login. The profile picture and the name is displayed properly. However when I try adding the code FB.Connect.ifUserConnected, I get a error message saying FB.Connect is not defined. • WCF fault logging and SQL Exception 4060 error.

  I have been attempting to compile/run a sample WCF application from Juval Lowy's website (author of Programming WCF Services & founder of IDesign) for several days. The example app utilizes Juval's ServiceModelEx library which logs faults/errors to a "WCFLogbook" SQL database. Unfortunately, when the sample app faults, I get the following error: SQL Exception 4060: "Cannot open database \"WCFLogbook\" requested by the login. The login failed.\r\nLogin failed for user 'Bill-PC\Bill'." I confirmed that the SQL WCFLogbook database has been created and have granted all of the appropriate permissions for my (Bill-PC\Bill) access to the database. Additionally port 8006 and port 1433 have been opened in the Firewall. TCP/IP has been enabled and "Allow remote connections to this server" has been checked. I am using the following endpoint within the App.Config file: <client> <endpoint name="LogbookTCP" address="net.tcp://Bill-PC:8006/LogbookManager" binding="netTcpBinding" contract="ILogbookManager" /> </client> Unfortunately SQL is a 'world' that I hadn't needed to venture into before now and I am terribly frustrated with my lack of success. Would anyone have any other suggestions on how to get this working? Have I missed anything?

  I am trying to learn django by following along with this tutorial. I am using django version 1.1.1 I run django-admin.py startproject mysite and it creates the files it should. Then I try to start the server by running python manage.py runserver but here is where I get the following error. However, I've installed (and re-installed) anything GTK#-related that I could think of... and the error still occurs. Does anyone know how to fix it?

  Hi All, I'm tryihg to bind a combobox item source to a static resource. I'm oversimplfying my example so that it's easy to understand what i'm doing. So I have created a class public class A : ObservableCollection<string> { public A() { IKBDomainContext Context = new IKBDomainContext(); Context.Load(Context.GetIBOptionsQuery("2C6C1Q"), p => { foreach (var item in SkinContext.IKBOptions) { this.Add(item); } }, null); } } So the class has a constructor that populates itself using a domaincontext that gets data from a persisted database. I'm only doing reads on this list so dont have to worry about persisting back. in xaml i add a reference to the namespace of this class then I add it as a usercontrol.resources to the page control. <UserControl.Resources> <This:A x:Key="A"/> </UserControl.Resources> and then i use it this staticresource to bind it to my combobox items source.in reality i have to use a datatemplate to display this object properly but i wont add that here. <Combobox ItemsSource="{StaticResource A}"/> Now when I'm in the designer I get the error: Cannot Create an Instance of "A". If i compile and run the code, it runs just fine. This seems to only affect the editing of the xaml page. What am I doing wrong?

Just changed to 64 bit anaconda version and re-installed everything but now pyscripter cannot import rpyc -- it runs with internal engine (no anaconda), but no such error in pure python. • IE History Tracking, IFRAMES, and Cross Domain error...

  So here's the deal. We have a Flash application that is running within an HTML file. For one page we call a legacy reporting system in ASP.NET that is within an IFRAME. This page then communicates back to the Flash application using cross-domain scripting (document.domain = "domain" is set in both pages. THIS ALL WORKS. Now the kicker. Flash has history tracking enabled. This loads the history.js file that created a div tag to store page changes so the back and forward buttons work in the browser. Which works for Firefox and Chrome as they create a div tag. HOWEVER In Internet Explorer, history.js creates another IFRAME (instead of a DIV) called ie_historyFrame. When the ScriptResource.axd code attempts to access this with: var frameDoc = this._historyFrame.contentWindow.document; we get an "Access is Denied" error message. ARGH! We've tried getting a handle to this IFRAME and inserting the document.domain code. FAIL. We've tried editing the historytemplate.html file that flex also uses to include document.domain... FAIL. I've tried to edit the underlying ASP.NET page to disable history tracking in the ScriptManager control. FAIL. At my wit's end on this one. We have users who need to use IE to access this site. They are big clients who we cannot tell to just use Firefox. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

I have two keystores namely WSIdentity.jks and WSTrust.jks which contains the keys and certificates. One of the alias of WSIdentity.jks is "ws02p".   I have a web form that will dynamically create a number of checkboxlist filled with data based on the number of row in database.
