  I'm looking for help to create a query, to solve the following problem: Let's imagine the row: Name StartDate EndDate Payed James 10-10-2010 17-02-2011 860 Now I need a way to split this row up, so I can see what he pays every month, for his period, a query that returns: Name Year Month Payed James 2010 10 172 James 2010 11 172 James 2010 12 172 James 2011 01 172 James 2010 02 172 There are lots of different customers with different StartDate/EndDate and amount payed, so the query has to handle this aswell. How can I do this in SQL (MS SQL Server 2005)? Help will be much appreciated!

• Passing a ManagedObjectContext to a second view

  I'm writing my first iPhone/Cocoa app. It has two table views inside a navigation view. When you touch a row in the first table view, you are taken to the second table view. I would like the second view to display records from the CoreData entities related to the row you touched in the first view. I have the CoreData data showing up fine in the first table view. You can touch a row and go to the second table view. I'm able to pass info from the selected object from the first to the second view. But I cannot get the second view to do its own CoreData fetching. For the life of me I cannot get the managedObjectContext object to pass to the second view controller. I don't want to do the lookups in the first view and pass a dictionary because I want to be able to use a search field to refine results in the second view, as well as insert new entries to the CoreData data from there.   Hi, I've hit an annoying problem in LaTeX. I've got a tex file of about 1000 lines. I've already got a few figures, but when I try to add another figure, It barfs with: ! • JQuery Autocomplete - format listing and only return a part to the text box

  I'm using the JQuery Autocomplete and it's working just fine. I'm using it to allow someone to search for users out of a database by searching on last name or id number. Right now the drop down list that is created is the resultes of a SQL query and looks something like: $row_rst['lName'] . ', ' . $row_rst['fName'] . " - " . $row_rst['user'] . "|" . $row_rst['id'] which outputs something like: Jones, Henry - hjones Gibbons, Peter - pgibbons When I pick Henry the text box gets Jones, Henry - hjones and the hidden field gets his id. I'd like to format the drop down in columns if possible and only return Jones, Henry to the text box if possible. Are either of those options possible? I'm thinking it has to do with either formatItem(row) or formatResult(row) but I'm not sure and I can't seem to find how to go about this.

  INFORMIX-SQL 7.3 Perform Screens: According to documentation, in an "after editadd editupdate of table" control block, its instructions are executed before the row is added or updated to the table, whereas in an "after add update of table" control block, its instructions are executed after the row has been added or updated to the table, supposedly meaning that any instructions which would alter values of field-tags linked to table.columns would not be committed to the table, but field-tags linked to displayonly fields will change?.. However, when using "after add update of table" I placed instructions which alter values for field-tags linked to table.columns and their displayed and committed values also changed!.. I would have thought that an "after add update of table" would only alter displayonly fields.

• DevExpress Reporting Session Issue

  This is pretty complicated so I will explain what is going on. I have created an ASP.NET website for displaying images, the way we use our images is, we have a database table that contains the URL where the images are located, however we recently started moving them from the filesystem, and storing them directly into the database as binary, but since we don't want to break older applications, we currently store them both places till they are all updated. Alright, the website I'm working on, is just a reporting website to display images by a date range, I have created an HTTPHandler to display the image, depending if they exist in the database as binary, if the row is DBNull, I just grab the URL from the other table instead, I just read the image, convert it into a byte[] and write it to the response, so it is interpreted as an image. I have created a page to display the report using DevExpress Reporting, I just query the report, save the dataset into a session, and the report reads the session to bind the report, i also have a picturebox in the report bound to "Handler.ashx?id=ImageID", this is because I am not binding a URL to the image, since it is a byte[] Also since there could be a report with 10000+ images, I am reading the dataset from the session inside the handler and just pulling out the image from the passed in ImageID, I am doing this to prevent connecting to the database each and every row. Now the strange thing is, Report loads fine.. data is loading, I have paging on the devexpress report viewer, it is loading the images fine, however here is the issue. When I print or export, I am not getting any images, I am debugged and found out the Session.Count is 0 when it tries to print or export, which is strange since there is more than just the dataset in the session. I have also added IRequiresSessionState to allow sessions in the handler, but the session count is still 0, I have changing the Handler to an aspx page, same issue. Any ideas or suggestions on logic changes, I'm all ears.. this is a very difficult situation since I have to display the images from database as a string AND byte[] since one can be URL and other be the image bytes, but I also can't slam the database on connection calls each row either. I have also reported the issue to DevExpress and they are clueless as well, since they don't dispose the session in the exporting process.

'string invalidEmail'. If I remove that prameter it seems to work normally. For Example: lines[0]="Hello"; lines[1]="Your Back"; lines[2]="Bye"; Since lines has to be dynamically cause i don't know how many lines i need at first.   Can I user mono's AOT feature to natively "pre-compile" .NET DLLs (and or EXEs) to make them harder to reverse engineer? If so, how do I get mono/AOT working in Windows 7? (I'm running x64 but the app is targeting x86 explicitly.) I just installed Mono 2.6.3 and MinGW 5.1.6 and I'm trying to AOT compile an exe (or a dll, it doesn't matter). • iPhone - UIImage imageScaledToSize Memory Issue

  I have done research and tried several times to release the UIImage memory and have been unsuccessful. I saw one other post on the internet where someone else was having this same issue. Everytime imageScaledToSize is called, the ObjectAlloc continues to climb. In the following code I am pulling a local image from my resource directory and resizing it with some blur. Can someone provide some help on how to release the memory of the UIImages called....scaledImage and labelImage. This is the chunk of code where the iPhone Intruments has shown to have the ObjectAlloc build up. • Efficient Context-Free Grammar parser, preferably Python-friendly

  I am in need of parsing a small subset of English for one of my project, described as a context-free grammar with (1-level) feature structures (example) and I need to do it efficiently . Right now I'm using NLTK's parser which produces the right output but is very slow. For my grammar of ~450 fairly ambiguous non-lexicon rules and half a million lexical entries, parsing simple sentences can take anywhere from 2 to 30 seconds, depending it seems on the number of resulting trees. Lexical entries have little to no effect on performance. Another problem is that loading the (25MB) grammar+lexicon at the beginning can take up to a minute. From what I can find in literature, the running time of the algorithm used to parse such a grammar (Earley or CKY) should be linear to the size of the grammar and cubic to the size of the input token list. My experience with NLTK indicates that ambiguity is what hurts the performance most, not the absolute size of the grammar. So now I'm looking for a CFG parser to replace NLTK. I've been considering PLY but I can't tell whether it supports feature structures in CFGs, which are required in my case, and the examples I've seen seem to be doing a lot of procedural parsing rather than just specifying a grammar. Can anybody show me an example of PLY both supporting feature structs and using a declarative grammar? I'm also fine with any other parser that can do what I need efficiently. A Python interface is preferable but not absolutely necessary.

Each row in the array has a first_initial or second_initial value of "a". I need to display the rows alphabetically but based on the "a" part, so that either the name or reversed_name will be displayed.   Database server: SQL Server 2000 - 8.00.760 - SP3 - Standard Edition I have a table with 5 columns, in which I want to add a large (300.000) number of records. There is a unique index on the combination of two columns. If I add the records with this unique index in place, SQL Server gives this error message: Msg 2601, Level 14, State 3, Line 1 Cannot insert duplicate key row in object 'TESTTABLE' with unique index 'test'. The statement has been terminated. (0 row(s) affected) However, if I delete the unique index and then add the records, I do not get any error when I create this unique index afterwards.
