• Symfony Jobeet Tutorial Day 3, databases.yml error

  Hi all, I'm new to Symfony and I'm going through the Jobeet tutorial v1.4 for Doctrine. I am currently stuck on Day 3. I've followed all the instructions on configuring the database and building models and modules; however, when I try to access "http://localhost:8080/frontend_dev.php" I receive the following error: 'Configuration "config/databases.yml" does not exist or is unreadable.' My config/databases.yml file looks like this: all: doctrine: class: sfDoctrineDatabase param: dsn: 'mysql:host=localhost;dbname=jobeet' username: root password: mysecret Creating the tables and loading the fixtures seem to work fine after checking the database with phpmyadmin. Any help would be appreciated. Thank you!

• SSIS FTP task connection error

  Hi, I have a FTP connection manager in SSIS. I have configured it with serevr IP, port number, user name, and password. It was working fine. But suddenly its stopped working. But i am able to login directly to the FTP web site directly .It was not working temporarily.But now its working with same login credentials. But my FTP connection manager in SSIS is unable to connect to the server. with following Error message "connection cannot be established.server name ,port number ,credentials may be invalid" What could be the reason? I have checked servername,port and login credentials all are same. Note: This is a ssl ftp website(https://xxx.xx.xx.com/) Some one please look into this isssue and provide a solution. Thanks SNA

• sem_open() error: "undefined reference to sem_open()" on linux (Ubuntu 10.10)

  So I am getting the error: "undefined reference to sem_open()" even though I have include the semaphore.h header. The same thing is happening for all my pthread function calls (mutex, pthread_create, etc). Any thoughts? • ASP.NET State Error

  I am have an asp.net page, where a list of products is shown in a drop down. When a user selects an item, corresponding price, available quantity etc. are shown in the corresponding text boxes. I have used ajax update panel to retrieve these information. This approach seems to work nicely. But sometimes when a product is selected, it takes too long for the price, quantities to change, and sometimes they don't even change. Then I used firebug to see what happened to the ajax request, and I found out that the response that is coming from the server is something like this - 70|error|500|The state information is invalid for this page and might be corrupted.| I have absolutely no idea what is wrong here.............

  I'm programming a simple text-based RPG using a switch statement for a game loop. The program works fine until I attempt to add another case statement, at which point it gives me the following three errors: "jump to case label" (error occurs at the line of the newly added case), and two "crosses initialization of 'ClassName *objectName'"(errors occur when the new objects are created in case 2). What is wrong with this? is the only way to put html tag inside XMl file is to use CDATA?

• Custom QGraphicsItems not compiling and gives "object is private" error

  Hi, I am trying to create a Custom QGraphicsItem button as shown by Fred here. The code which he posted can be found here. The problem is when I try and compile the code I get the following two errors: /usr/include/qt4/QtGui/qgraphicsitem.h ‘QGraphicsItem::QGraphicsItem(const QGraphicsItem&)’ is private /usr/include/qt4/QtCore/qobject.h ‘QObject::QObject(const QObject&)’ is private Here is the code snippet which essentially is the same as that in the sample above. The error is on the class deceleration. class MyButton : public QObject, public QGraphicsItem { Q_OBJECT Q_INTERFACES(QGraphicsItem) public: MyButton(QGraphicsItem *parent = 0); MyButton(const QString normal, const QString pressed = "", QGraphicsItem *parent = 0); .... } Interestingly the other sample as shown here works fine.   Hi, I have an input field that captures a date in my form <%= f.text_field :from_date, :style => 'width:80px;' %> The user enters the date in the following format MM/DD/YYYY. However, when there is a validation error in the model and the form is displayed back to the user with the entered values, the date format is converted to YYYY-MM-DD HH:MM:SS UTC. Where do I format this to show MM/DD/YYYY, when the form is displayed to the user. thanks.

  The following Java code is throwing a compiler error: if ( checkGameTitle(currGame) ) ArrayList<String> items = parseColumns( tRows.get(rowOffset+1), currGame, time, method ); checkGameTitle is a public static function, returning a boolean. The errors are all of the type "cannot find symbol" with the symbols being variable ArrayList, variable String and variable items. However, if I add {curly braces} then the code compiles with no errors. Why might this be? Is there some ambiguity on the if clause without them?

  I have a pure ActionScript project. I'm using Flex Builder on a Mac, Flex SDK 3.4 and I've even added the playerglobal.swc from the Flash folder to the project's library path. I get autocomplete when I add import flash.net.NetStreamPlayOptions; import flash.net.NetStreamPlayTransitions; But when I run the movie, I get: VerifyError: Error #1014: Class flash.net::NetStreamPlayOptions could not be found. I don't get it.. What must I do to use those classes?

• Too many open files error in Glassfish3 while using https listener

  I have a problem running webservice that requires https connection(Glassfish3). After running for a while, it eventually crashes. Log file show "Failed to load keystore type JKS with path ....config/keystore.jks due to ...config/keystore.jks (Too many open files)". lsof shows that a number of open files are constantly increasing (among others, I noticed that there are many files with type 'sock' and undefined protocol that never get closed). I tried changing the limit of open files, but it resulted in a longer time before crashing... I blamed the webservice, but everything works fine if the application doesn't require confidential protocol. Did I miss anything in http listener configuration ? Or it is rather an application error? Is there a better way to do this as in a way to fillin the text body box of gmail compose section. Or some way to open the page and have it prefilled with javascript some how...

• Entity framework error: The conversion of a datetime2 data type to a datetime data

  I know there are a ton of posts about this issue but none of them seem to solve my problem. Here's the scenario: I have a CreateDate DateTime column in my MS SQL Server database User table that is non-nullable and is automatically set using GetDate() method in "Default Value or Binding" setting. I am able to create a User just fine with the standard EF Insert but when I try to update the user, I get this error: The conversion of a datetime2 data type to a datetime data type resulted in an out-of-range value. What is the trick to not having the EF worry about the CreateDate column for updates? I have the StoreGenerationPattern = Identity but that isn't helping. • Subclassing Satchmo's Category model, but then getting the error "'Manager' object has no attribute 'root_categories'"

  I'm using Satchmo as part of a website I'm currently building. At the moment I'm trying add more functions to the Satchmo Category class, but obviously I'm not going to make any changes to the Satchmo files. So, I thought that subclassing the Category class would give me a new class which contains all the Satchmo Category properties and methods while allowing me to add my own. However, either Python subclassing doesn't work like that, or I am doing it wrong.
