  • How do I get a full Magento session in an external script? (Specifically, Catalog Rules)

    I'm running an external script that loads up a Magento session. Within that script, I'm loading products and grabbing a bunch of properties. The one issue is that getFinalPrice() does not apply the catalog rules that apply to the product. I'm doing everything I know to set the session, even a bunch of stuff that I think is superfluous. Nothing seems to get these rules applied.     I am trying to figure out if there is a way to apply the CSS methodology to the LaTeX template I am building. What I would like to do is to have a set of classes that apply a specific style treatment to the bracketed words. For example: If I have three paragraphs of text, I want to have all of the paragraphs have [0.5cm] of spacing after the last line without having to add \\[0.5cm] after each paragraph. Is there a LaTeX equivalent of defining the treatment for all paragraphs in the preamble so that it cascades throughout my document? The equivalent of: <style> p {padding-bottom:0.5cm} </style> I want to be able to specify multiple version of these CSS-like LaTeX classes throughout my document, so I don't need a specific solution. I need help understanding how to add custom labels/names/classes to the preamble and an example of how to use them in the document itself. Thanks! Ryan

  • shortest path search in a map represented as 2d shapes

    Hi, I have a small library of a few shortest path search algorithms. They were developed for simple undirected graphs (the normal representation - vertices and edges). Now I'd like to somehow apply them on a bit different scenario - where the maps are represented as 2-dimensional shapes, connected by shared edges (edges of the polygons, that is). In this scenario, the search can start/end either at a map object or some point (x,y). What would be the best approach? Try to apply the algorithms onto shapes? or try to extract a 'normal' graph out of the shapes (I have preprocessing time available)? Any advice would be much appreciated, as I'm really not sure which way to go, and I don't have enough time (and skill) to explore many options... Thanks a lot

    I'm not quite sure how to phrase this. Here is the problem: I have 1-n items that I need to join to a different system (AS400) to get some data. The openrowset takes forever if I specify the where criteria outside of the openrowset, e.g.: select * from openrowset('my connection string', 'select code, myfield from myTable') where code = @code My idea was to create a function that takes in the item number and uses dynamic sql to inject it into the openrowset string, a la: declare @cmd varchar(1000) set @cmd = 'select * from openrowset('my connection string', ''select code, myfield from myTable where code = ' + @code + ''')' Apparently I can't use the insert.. exec.. strategy inside of a function. Is there any better way to achieve this? I was going to use this in joins where I needed the external data using cross apply. I'm not married to tvf and cross apply, but I do need a method of getting this data quickly. Thanks for any help.

    Let's say I have a site with multiple links as follows: www.example.com/product/1 www.example.com/product/2 www.example.com/product/3 I also append tracking info to links from time to time so that I can see how my site is being used, e.g, if somebody visits the products page from the product browser I would set a ref parameter: www.example.com/product/1&ref=pb www.example.com/product/2&ref=pb www.example.com/product/3&ref=pb The problem with this is that if the user visits a link of the first type and then views a link of the second type then the :visited pseudo class doesn't seem to apply because the browser only seems to match on exact URLs. Is there any way to have "wildcards" apply to links in this sense, so that when the user sees either the first type or the second type of link that it is highlighted? Note: I cannot change this "ref" architecture; it is inherited.

    Is there a way to detect when the disabled attribute of an input changes in JQuery. I want to toggle the style based on the value. I can copy/paste the same enable/disable code for each change event (as I did below) but I was looking for a more generic approach.     Hi, I want to convert some of our internal API into a spring bean spring interceptor that we can use in other projects. This API needs some instantiation and other logic which I want to encapsulate in this bean so that we can just put the bean into our app context with necessary propoerties alone, and this will then apply the logic. I remember having read an article on this somewhere in the past - but cant find it now. Any pointers to something similar will be helpful EDIT: Sorry, I meant a spring interceptor, not a bean - my bad - please see my edit. I want to apply this interceptor to another bean dealing in XML messages.

    I have a WCF service hosted in a web application (IIS). I need to expose 1 end point over wsHttp and the other over netTcp. I am on a IIS7 environment that makes it possible for me to host non HTTP based services. Anyways, when I browse the .svc file using a browser, I get the error: The service cannot be activated because it does not support ASP.NET compatibility. ASP.NET compatibility is enabled for this application By googling, I realized that WCF runs in two modes - Mixed and ASP.NET compatible. When I apply the attribute [AspNetCompatibilityRequirements(RequirementsMode = AspNetCompatibilityRequirementsMode.Allowed)] However, it appears that once I apply this attribute to the Service Contract implementation, I cannot use a non HTTP binding. How do I set it up so that: I can support non HTTP endpoints I can host the service on a Web app I don't create multiple services one with aspnet compatibility turned on and the other turned off

    Hello, I'm trying to load a existing pdf file, and fill this with database information. Loading the file and everything is working, except for writing data to the loaded page. It doesn't write text to the loaded page. If I add a new page en use a foreach to apply drawing to all pages, all added pages are written, except for the loaded one.   • How to debug and detect hang issue

    I am testing my application (Windows 7, WinForms, Infragistics controls, C#, .Net 3.5). I have two monitors and my application saves and restores forms' position on the first or second monitors. So I physically switched off second monitor and disabled it at Screen Resolution on the windows display settings form. I need to know it is possible for my application to restore windows positions (for those windows that were saved on the second monitor) to the first one. I switched off second monitor and press Detect to apply hardware changes. Then Windows switched OFF the first monitor for a few seconds to apply new settings. When the first monitor screen came back, my application became unresponsive. My application was launched in debug mode, so I tried to navigate via stack and threads (Visual Studio 2008), paused application, started and did not find any thing that help me to understand why my application is not responsive. Could somebody help my how to detect the source of issue.

    I am using disqus comments for my jekyll blog with some CSS styles overriden in my stylesheet and used to work perfectly. Recently, disqus has introduced a new UI for their comments system which has completely broken the font colors. Since my site has dark background, I am trying to apply styles based on new disqus HTML structure generated. However, it seems that none of my styles get applied. It seems that is because disqus is loaded within iframe. Any ideas how can I fix the font colors.     Is it possible to make xsl:analyze-string return one string instead of a sequence of strings? Background: I'd like to use xsl:analyze-string in a xsl:function that should encapsulate the pattern matching. Ideally, the function should return an xs:string to be used as sort criteria in an xsl:sort element. At the moment, i have to apply string-join() on every result of the function call since xsl:analyze-string returns a sequence of strings, and xsl:sort doesn't accept such a sequence as sort criteria.     How can I set a ringtone for an individual contact on Android ? I have found a way to set the default ringtone that applies to all contacts without an individual ringtone. But that is not what i'm trying to accomplish. I want the application to have a button "Apply ringtone to contact". When i click, I start an activityForResult displaying a list of all contacts on the phone. When a contact is selected, the contact activity closes and returns with a uri to the contact. Now all the app needs to do is to apply the selected ringtone to that spesific contact. The code for displaying and selecting contacts by an activity is already implemented and seems to work on with the app. Its only the last part left, and I have no clue about how to solve this. Any help would be usefull.

    Hi, I'm dynamically creating textfields in as3, and formatting them with the TextFormat class. I'm having some issues though with selecting the exact "style" of font to apply to the textfields. My code so far looks like: formatT = new TextFormat( ); formatT.bold = false; formatT.color = 0x000000; formatT.font = "TradeGothic"; formatT.size = 16; var textItem = new TextField(); textItem.text = "foobar"; textItem.setTextFormat(formatT); addChild(textItem); This works ("Trade Gothic" is applied to the enclosed text), however I can't figure out how to apply a specific style of "Trade Gothic", for instance "Light Oblique". Is there some way that I can specify this using the TextFormat class? Thanks.

    The purpose is that rows are dynamically added to a table and it is not as nice (and slower) to apply the rule manually later. The specific example is that I am creating a tree table to represent a folder directory. Each folder is a div. In each div, there is a ul with an li for each columns' information. These li have a class name equivalent to the column name. This provides column width. I want to make the columns resizable however. I could do $('.className').css('width', newWidth) but then this wont apply to newly inserted items. Therefore, I want to modify the css rule. How do I do this?

    I have a table with a column that will be encrypted by a trigger after the record is inserted. When I read the column, I need to apply a decrypt function in the hibernate domain class. While saving the object, the value of the column will be saved as such. While reading the column, apply a database function on the read data. @Formula and @Column annotation cannot be applied to an attribute in the entity class. How do I achieve this functionality without using one attribute for saving and another one with @Formula for reading it?
