• What is rotating the preview in the Android sample "CameraPreview"?

• Inserting a WAV at a certain point in an audio file using python

  My problem is the following: I have a 2-minute long WAV file, and my aim is to insert another WAV file (7 seconds long), at a certain point in the first WAV file (say, 0:48), essentially combining the two WAVs, using python. Unfortunately I haven't been able to figure out how to do that, and was wondering if there was some obvious solution that I was missing, or if it is even feasible to do with python. Is there perhaps a library available that might provide a solution? Thanks to all in advance.

• How to remove "Standard Error" column from xtable() output of an lm on R/RSweave/LaTeX

  I'm currently doing some data analysis on population data, so reporting the standard errors in the tables of parameter coefficients just doesn't really make statistical sense. I've done a fair bit of searching and can't find any way to customize the xtable output to remove it. Can anyone point me in the right direction? • Flushing JDBC connection pools

  Does anyone know the best (or any) way to flush a JDBC connection pool? I can't find anything obvious in the documentation. It appears connection pools aren't meant to ever be deleted. My current thought is to delete all DataSources from the hash we store them in, which will trigger our code to make new ones. However, my first attempt throws a ConcurrentModificationException.

  typedef boost::interprocess::managed_shared_memory::segment_manager segment_manager_t; // Works fine, segment_manager is a class typedef boost::interprocess::adaptive_pool allocator_t; // Can't do this, adaptive_pool is a template The idea is that if I want to switch between boost interprocess' several different options for shared memory and allocators, I just modify the typedefs. Unfortunately the allocators are templates, so I can't typedef the allocator I want to use. Is there a way to achieve an alias to a template in C++?
