• Can't get max_post_size php variable set in lunar pages.

  I need to increase max post size and upload size for php to use the audio module of drupal. I read this has to be set in php.ini. However I don't think I have access to that file in lunar pages. I also read it can also be set in .htaccess. However it doesn't change anything. I tried: php_value post_max_size "40M" php_value upload_max_filesize "40M" i also tried: php_value post_max_size 40M php_value upload_max_filesize 40M On localhost it says restart webserver. But this is not possible on shared host. Could that be the problem?

• How can I stop sorl thumbnail from breaking with very long filenames?

  I've noticed that when working with SORL thumbnail, sometimes a user will upload an image with a very long filename, longer than the varfield in the database can hold. The name gets truncated in the database and the project gives errors whenever the image is requested. Is there a smart and safe way to have django automatically truncate long filenames in sorl uploads (prior to saving them in the database) to prevent this sort of thing?   I'm trying to create an application where I can draw a lot of pictures at a specific point (determined for each image) on one view. I have a coordinates where I need draw a picture, width and height of it For example: I have 2 billion jpeg's images. for each images I have a specific origin point and size. In 1 second I need draw on view 20-50 images in specific point.   Hi there, I have a flash animation with the size of 1280x1024 and I want to embed it into an HTML file. I want the flash file to be displayed in 800x600. • Edit a video to embed a bitmap.

  I would like to edit a video so that i can embed a small bitmap image at any corner. The bitmap image has to be replaced with another image, for every two video frames. If somehow it is possible to covert a group of pictures into slideshow video then i want that video to be embedded at the corner of the main video. • Textbox height in a small browser window

  Hi folks, I have here a peculiar problem. We have a RAP application intended for use on a PDA/phone, but when it is displayed in a small browser window, all the textboxes on the form(s) are too tall (around twice the height they should be). I've stepped through the code (The form is using GridLayout, number of columns=1, make columns equal=false) and have found that the TextSizeDetermination.getCharHeight() method returns an incorrect font size if the browser window is too small - 13px if the window is large, 26px (exactly double) if the window is too small. Interestingly enough, it seems that if the window is too small, probeStore.containsProbeResult(font) in that method returns true and uses probeStore.getProbeResult(...).getSize().y for the font size. Otherwise, if the window is larger, it returns false and uses TextSizeEstimation.getCharHeight(...). Does anyone have a pointer or two for getting around this?   Hi.. I have been trying to use a ScrollView on a single ImageView with a JPG (~770 x 1024) over an AVD that's 600x800. My main.xml is: <?xml version="1.0" encoding="utf-8"?> <LinearLayout xmlns:android="http://schemas.android.com/apk/res/android" android:orientation="vertical" android:layout_width="fill_parent" android:layout_height="fill_parent" > <ScrollView android:id="@+id/scroller" android:layout_width="fill_parent" android:layout_height="wrap_content" /> </LinearLayout> Now, I add a single ImageView with setContentView(R.layout.main); ScrollView sv = (ScrollView)findViewById( R.id.scroller ); ImageView iv = new ImageView(this); iv.setImageDrawable( new BitmapDrawable( "/sdcard/770x1024.jpg" ) ); // same happens with ScaleDrawable. iv.setScaleType( ScaleType.CENTER_INSIDE ); sv.addView( sv ); // and it does not go any better if I use Linear Layout between the ScrollView and the ImageView. The result is The image was displayed in a middle of a ScrollView, wrapped with background area on top and bottom as following: ##### ##### image . . . ##### ##### Where ##### stands for background area I tried to set the background of the ImageView red, and it verified that the blank margins were ImageView background. iv.setBackgroundColor( color.Red ); Where I would expect the image to take no more than its size (scaled to the AVD size) and I expect the ScrollView to let me scroll over the remainder (if any). For some reason, I see that the drawable size is 600x1024. Moreover I tried to add a LinearLayout with a dummy text view such as the linear layout is a parent to the ImageView and the TextView, and the ScrollView is a parent to the LinearLayout. • Suggestion for chkstk.asm stackoverflow exception in C++ with Visual Studio 2010

  I am working with an implementation of merge sort. I am doing C++ Visual Studio 2010. But when I took a array of 300000 integers for timing, it is showing an unhandled stackoverflow exception and taking me to a readonly file named "chkstk.asm". I reduced the size to 200000 and it worked. Again the same code worked with C-free 4 editor (mingw 2.95) without any problem while the size was 400000. Do you have any suggestion to get the code working in Visual Studio? May be the recursion in the mergesort is causing the problem.

  This morning we found an old chunk of code that was causing a library call to crash. struct fred { int a; int b; int c; }; fred fred[MAX_SIZE+1]; memset( fred, 0, sizeof(fred) * MAX_SIZE+1 ); It appears that the sizeof(fred) may have been the full array size, rather than the structure size, as it was overwriting a great deal of memory. The fact that it compiled without warning on several different systems seemed odd. Is there a correct semantic for this case where the type and variable name are colliding? or is this some sort of undefined behavior? or just a defect? I haven't been been clever enough to find anything on Google or our language help. Thanks Evil

It's all working nicely, but I need to detect when that picture box is clicked on. How do I add an event to the picture? I seem to only be able to find c# examples.... my code to add the image is as follows... But it is written in ATL COM. So I am planning to work and build the Image viewer as follows: After reading the Image I will scale down to my viewer size, viwer is around 1000x1000. Lets call this Image Data as Display Data. Once displaying this data, I will work only this Display data.   I'd like to "Stretch" a UIView to the right side, meaning increase it's frame.size.width by foo pixels and at the same time decreasing it's frame.origin.x by foo pixels, using [UIView beginAnimations] syntax. However, if I do that, when the animation begins the view immediately resizes, and then starts the animation for the origin. CGRect currFrame = someView.frame; currFrame.size.width += 100; currFrame.origin.x -= 100; [UIView beginAnimations:@"Anim1" context:nil]; someView.frame = currFrame; [UIView setAnimationDuration:0.7]; [UIView commitAnimations]; I've also tried breaking the animation down to 2 parts but then I can't keep the right position in place.   Hi, My app shows rising 'Old Generation'/'Tenured Generation' size, and when this reaches the max limit for 'Old Gen', then suddenly PermGen size increases. Here are my generation sizings: -Xmx1200m -Xms1200m -Xmn450m -XX:MaxPermSize=600m -XX:+UseParallelGC This is on 32 bit Fedora so can't have a bigger heap than this. The app is not doing any fancy classloading, though it is using Spring IOC and Hibernate, the Spring App-context.xml defines some 1000 Beans. This app starts with 175MB PermGen, which steadily increases to ~250MB in few hrs, stays that way till Tenured Generation reached ~780 MB, then permgen jumps to ~500MB while Old Gen drops to ~500MB. This forces me to restart the App on daily basis, and gives me real scare of looming OutOfMemory Error.. Any insights would be very helpful. Thanks Gala101
