  • Youtube API upload - Incomplete Multipart body error

    - by Blerim J
    Hello, I'm trying to upload videos in Youtube through HttpWebRequest. Everything seems to be fine when uploading following the example given in API documentation. I see that request is being formed correctly, with content and token sent but I receive "Incomplete multipart body" as response. Thanks Blerim public bool YouTubeUpload() { string newLine = "\r\n"; //token and url are retrieved from YouTube at runtime. string token = string.Empty; string url = string.Empty; // construct the command url url = url + "?nexturl=http://www.mywebsite.com/"; // get a unique string to use for the data boundary string boundary = Guid.NewGuid().ToString().Replace("-", string.Empty); foreach (string file in Request.Files) { HttpPostedFileBase hpf = Request.Files[file] as HttpPostedFileBase; if (hpf.ContentLength == 0) continue; // get info about the file and open it for reading Stream fs = hpf.InputStream; HttpWebRequest webRequest = (HttpWebRequest)WebRequest.Create(url); webRequest.ContentType = "multipart/form-data; boundary=" + boundary; webRequest.Method = "POST"; webRequest.KeepAlive = true; webRequest.Credentials = System.Net.CredentialCache.DefaultCredentials; MemoryStream memoryStream = new MemoryStream(); StreamWriter writer = new StreamWriter(memoryStream); //token writer.Write("--" + boundary + newLine); writer.Write("Content-Disposition: form-data; name=\"{0}\"{1}{2}", "token", newLine, newLine); writer.Write(token); writer.Write(newLine); //Video writer.Write("--" + boundary + newLine); writer.Write("Content-Disposition: form-data; name=\"{0}\"; filename=\"{1}\"{2}", "File1", hpf.FileName, newLine); writer.Write("Content-Type: {0}" + newLine + newLine, hpf.ContentType); writer.Flush(); byte[] boundarybytes = System.Text.Encoding.ASCII.GetBytes(string.Format("--{0}--{1}", boundary, newLine)); webRequest.ContentLength = memoryStream.Length + fs.Length + boundarybytes.Length; Stream webStream = webRequest.GetRequestStream(); // write the form data to the web stream memoryStream.Position = 0; byte[] tempBuffer = new byte[memoryStream.Length]; memoryStream.Read(tempBuffer, 0, tempBuffer.Length); memoryStream.Close(); webStream.Write(tempBuffer, 0, tempBuffer.Length); // write the file to the stream int size; byte[] buf = new byte[1024 * 10]; do { size = fs.Read(buf, 0, buf.Length); if (size > 0) webStream.Write(buf, 0, size); } while (size > 0); // write the trailer to the stream webStream.Write(boundarybytes, 0, boundarybytes.Length); webStream.Close(); fs.Close(); //fails here.   • Entity Framework Generic Repository Error

    - by Jeff Ancel
    I am trying to create a very generic generics repository for my Entity Framework repository that has the basic CRUD statements and uses an Interface. I have hit a brick wall head first and been knocked over. Here is my code, written in a console application, using a Entity Framework Model, with a table named Hurl. Simply trying to pull back the object by its ID. Here is the full application code. using System; using System.Collections.Generic; using System.Linq; using System.Text; using System.Data.Objects; using System.Linq.Expressions; using System.Reflection; using System.Data.Objects.DataClasses; namespace GenericsPlay { class Program { static void Main(string[] args) { var hs = new HurlRepository(new hurladminEntity()); var hurl = hs.Load<Hurl>(h => h.Id == 1); Console.Write(hurl.ShortUrl); Console.ReadLine(); } } public interface IHurlRepository { T Load<T>(Expression<Func<T, bool>> expression); } public class HurlRepository : IHurlRepository, IDisposable { private ObjectContext _objectContext; public HurlRepository(ObjectContext objectContext) { _objectContext = objectContext; } public ObjectContext ObjectContext { get { return _objectContext; } } private Type GetBaseType(Type type) { Type baseType = type.BaseType; if (baseType != null && baseType != typeof(EntityObject)) { return GetBaseType(type.BaseType); } return type; } private bool HasBaseType(Type type, out Type baseType) { Type originalType = type.GetType(); baseType = GetBaseType(type); return baseType != originalType; } public IQueryable<T> GetQuery<T>() { Type baseType; if (HasBaseType(typeof(T), out baseType)) { return this.ObjectContext.CreateQuery<T>("[" + baseType.Name.ToString() + "]").OfType<T>(); } else { return this.ObjectContext.CreateQuery<T>("[" + typeof(T).Name.ToString() + "]"); } } public T Load<T>(Expression<Func<T, bool>> whereCondition) { return this.GetQuery<T>().Where(whereCondition).First(); } public void Dispose() { if (_objectContext != null) { _objectContext.Dispose(); } } } } Here is the error that I am getting: System.Data.EntitySqlException was unhandled Message="'Hurl' could not be resolved in the current scope or context. Make sure that all referenced variables are in scope, that required schemas are loaded, and that namespaces are referenced correctly., near escaped identifier, line 3, column 1." Source="System.Data.Entity" Column=1 ErrorContext="escaped identifier" ErrorDescription="'Hurl' could not be resolved in the current scope or context. Make sure that all referenced variables are in scope, that required schemas are loaded, and that namespaces are referenced correctly." This is where I am attempting to extract this information from. http://blog.keithpatton.com/2008/05/29/Polymorphic+Repository+For+ADONet+Entity+Framework.aspx

  • What does this IIS error log mean?

    - by Victor Rodrigues
    I'm using Debug Diagnostic Tool, trying to understand why around 5% of the requests that are sent to my webservice just crash, without necessarily throw any error inside my application. One of the errors this tool took is below. Can anyone here understand exactly what could be happening? Thanks! • Getting SQL Syntax Error in INSERT INTO statement in Access 2010

    I have written the following Insert Into statement in Access 2010 VBA: Private Sub AddBPSSButton_Click() ' CurrentDb.Execute "INSERT INTO TabClearDetail(C_Site) VALUES(" & Me.C_Site & ")" Dim strSQL As String 'MsgBox Me.[Clearance Applying For] 'MsgBox Me.[Contract Applying for] 'MsgBox Me.[C_Site] 'MsgBox Me.[C_SponsorSurname] 'MsgBox Me.[C_SponsorForename] 'MsgBox Me.[C_SponsorContactDetails] 'MsgBox Me.[C_EmploymentDetail] 'MsgBox Me.[C_SGNumber] 'MsgBox Me.[C_REF1DateRecd] 'MsgBox Me.[C_REF2DateRecd] 'MsgBox Me.[C_IDDateRecd] 'MsgBox Me.[C_IDNum] 'MsgBox Me.[C_CriminalDeclarationDate] 'MsgBox Me.[Credit Check Consent] 'MsgBox Me.[C_CreditCheckDate] 'MsgBox Me.[Referred for Management Decision] 'MsgBox Me.[Management Decision Date] 'MsgBox Me.[C_Comment] 'MsgBox Me.[C_DateCleared] 'MsgBox Me.[C_ClearanceLevel] 'MsgBox Me.[C_ContractAssigned] 'MsgBox Me.[C_ExpiryDate] 'MsgBox Me.[C_LinKRef] 'MsgBox Me.[C_OfficialSecretsDate] strSQL = "INSERT INTO TabClearDetail(Clearance Applying For, Contract Applying for, " & _ "C_Site, C_SponsorSurname, C_SponsorForename, C_SponsorContactDetails, C_EmploymentDetail, " & _ "C_SGNumber, C_REF1DateRecd, C_RED2DateRecd, C_IDDateRecd, C_IDNum, " & _ "C_CriminalDeclarationDate, Credit Check Consent, C_CreditCheckDate, Referred for Management Decision, " & _ "Management Decision Date, C_Comment, C_DateCleared, C_ClearanceLevel, C_ContractAssigned, " & _ "C_ExpiryDate, C_LinkRef, C_OfficialSecretsDate) VALUES('" & Me.[Clearance Applying For] & "', " & _ "'" & Me.[Contract Applying for] & "', '" & Me.[C_Site] & "', '" & Me.[C_SponsorSurname] & "', " & _ "'" & Me.[C_SponsorForename] & "', '" & Me.[C_SponsorContactDetails] & "', " & _ "'" & Me.[C_EmploymentDetail] & "', '" & Me.[C_SGNumber] & "', '" & Me.[C_REF1DateRecd] & "', " & _ "'" & Me.[C_REF2DateRecd] & "', '" & Me.[C_IDDateRecd] & "', '" & Me.[C_IDNum] & "', " & _ "'" & Me.[C_CriminalDeclarationDate] & "', '" & Me.[Credit Check Consent] & "', '" & Me.[C_CreditCheckDate] & "', " & _ "'" & Me.[Referred for Management Decision] & "', '" & Me.[Management Decision Date] & "', " & _ "'" & Me.[C_Comment] & "', '" & Me.[C_DateCleared] & "', '" & Me.[C_ClearanceLevel] & "', " & _ "'" & Me.[C_ContractAssigned] & "', '" & Me.[C_ExpiryDate] & "', '" & Me.[C_LinKRef] & "', " & _ "'" & Me.[C_OfficialSecretsDate] & "');" DoCmd.RunSQL (strSQL) 'MsgBox strSQL End Sub All The MsgBox calls work, so I believe I have typed all column names and text box names correctly. I am getting a Syntax error when I get to the DoCmd.RunSQL line. Have been staring at this for quite a while trying to see if I have missed a comma or speech mark or something, but am hoping maybe another set of eyes will see my mistake. Any help will be greatly appreciated. Thanks!

  • Error using Session in IIS

    - by flashnik
    After deployment of my website to IIS I'm getting a following error message when trying to access session: Session state can only be used when enableSessionState is set to true, either in a configuration file or in the Page directive. Please also make sure that System.Web.SessionStateModule or a custom session state module is included in the \\ section in the application configuration. I access it in Page_Load or PreRender events (I tried both versions). With VS Dev Server it works without a problem. I tried both InProc an SessionState storage, 1 and multiple woker processes. I added a enableSessionState = "true" to my webpage explicitly. Here is part of web.config: <system.web> <globalization culture="ru-RU" uiCulture="ru-RU" /> <compilation debug="true" defaultLanguage="c#"> <assemblies> <add assembly="System.Core, Version=3.5.0.0, Culture=neutral, PublicKeyToken=B77A5C561934E089" /> <add assembly="System.Data.DataSetExtensions, Version=3.5.0.0, Culture=neutral, PublicKeyToken=B77A5C561934E089" /> <add assembly="System.Web.Extensions, Version=3.5.0.0, Culture=neutral, PublicKeyToken=31BF3856AD364E35" /> <add assembly="System.Xml.Linq, Version=3.5.0.0, Culture=neutral, PublicKeyToken=B77A5C561934E089" /> <add assembly="System.Web.Extensions.Design, Version=3.5.0.0, Culture=neutral, PublicKeyToken=31BF3856AD364E35" /> <add assembly="System.Design, Version=2.0.0.0, Culture=neutral, PublicKeyToken=B03F5F7F11D50A3A" /> <add assembly="System.Windows.Forms, Version=2.0.0.0, Culture=neutral, PublicKeyToken=B77A5C561934E089" /> </assemblies> </compilation> <pages enableEventValidation="false" enableSessionState="true"> <controls> <add tagPrefix="asp" namespace="System.Web.UI" assembly="System.Web.Extensions, Version=3.5.0.0, Culture=neutral, PublicKeyToken=31BF3856AD364E35" /> <add tagPrefix="asp" namespace="System.Web.UI.WebControls" assembly="System.Web.Extensions, Version=3.5.0.0, Culture=neutral, PublicKeyToken=31BF3856AD364E35" /> </controls> </pages> <httpHandlers> <remove verb="*" path="*.asmx" /> <add verb="*" path="*.asmx" validate="false" type="System.Web.Script.Services.ScriptHandlerFactory, System.Web.Extensions, Version=3.5.0.0, Culture=neutral, PublicKeyToken=31BF3856AD364E35" /> <add verb="*" path="*_AppService.axd" validate="false" type="System.Web.Script.Services.ScriptHandlerFactory, System.Web.Extensions, Version=3.5.0.0, Culture=neutral, PublicKeyToken=31BF3856AD364E35" /> <add verb="GET,HEAD" path="ScriptResource.axd" type="System.Web.Handlers.ScriptResourceHandler, System.Web.Extensions, Version=3.5.0.0, Culture=neutral, PublicKeyToken=31BF3856AD364E35" validate="false" /> </httpHandlers> <httpModules> <add name="ScriptModule" type="System.Web.Handlers.ScriptModule, System.Web.Extensions, Version=3.5.0.0, Culture=neutral, PublicKeyToken=31BF3856AD364E35" /> <add name="SearchUrlRewriter" type="Synonymizer.SearchUrlRewriter, Synonymizer, Version=1.0.0.0, Culture=neutral" /> <add name="Session" type="System.Web.SessionStateModule" /> </httpModules> <sessionState cookieless="UseCookies" cookieName="My_SessionId" mode="InProc" stateNetworkTimeout="5" /> <customErrors mode="Off" /> </system.web> What else do I need to do to make it work??

  • WordPress issues with htaccess causing 500 server error

    - by Scott B
    I have a few customers of my custom wordpress theme that are reporting that their sites have went down over the past few weeks due to a 500 internal server error. In each case, it appears that the htaccess file has been to blame. In one case, the user's hosting company found a "_pvt/service.pwd" line in there that was apparently causing the problem. In another instance, the hosting company indicated that a chron job appeared to be causing the issue and sent the user the following as evidence... root@cherry [/home/login/public_html]# stat .htaccess File: `.htaccess.orig' Size: 587 Blocks: 8 IO Block: 4096 regular file Device: 811h/2065d Inode: 590021607 Links: 1 Access: (0644/-rw-r--r--) Uid: ( 2234/login) Gid: ( 2231/login) Access: 2010-03-07 16:42:01.000000000 -0600 Modify: 2010-03-26 09:15:15.000000000 -0500 Change: 2010-03-26 09:45:05.000000000 -0500 In yet another instance, the user reported this as the cause... The permissions on my .index file somehow got changed to 777 instead of 644 I'm just seeking to help these users understand what's going on, the likely cause and how to prevent it. I also want to eliminate my theme as a potential contributing factor. I have two areas in which I want to submit here to make sure that they are not likely to cause such an issue. They are my permalink rewrite code as well as my upgrade script (which sets 755 on the destination folder (my theme folder). Here's the permalink rewrite code... if (file_exists(ABSPATH.'/wp-admin/includes/taxonomy.php')) { require_once(ABSPATH.'/wp-admin/includes/taxonomy.php'); if(get_option('permalink_structure') !== "/%postname%/" || get_option('mycustomtheme_permalinks') !=="/%postname%/") { $mycustomtheme_permalinks = get_option('mycustomtheme_permalinks'); require_once(ABSPATH . Something better could be used here. $okay = strtolower($name[1]) == 'zip' ? true: false; if(!$okay) { die("This upgrader requires a zip file. • java ioexception error=24 too many files open

    - by MattS
    I'm writing a genetic algorithm that needs to read/write lots of files. The fitness test for the GA is invoking a program called gradif, which takes a file as input and produces a file as output. Everything is working except when I make the population size and/or the total number of generations of the genetic algorithm too large. Then, after so many generations, I start getting this: java.io.FileNotFoundException: testfiles/GradifOut29 (Too many open files). (I get it repeatedly for many different files, the index 29 was just the one that came up first last time I ran it). It's strange because I'm not getting the error after the first or second generation, but after a significant amount of generations, which would suggest that each generation opens up more files that it doesn't close. But as far as I can tell I'm closing all of the files. The way the code is set up is the main() function is in the Population class, and the Population class contains an array of Individuals. Here's my code: Initial creation of input files (they're random access so that I could reuse the same file across multiple generations) files = new RandomAccessFile[popSize]; for(int i=0; i<popSize; i++){ files[i] = new RandomAccessFile("testfiles/GradifIn"+i, "rw"); } At the end of the entire program: for(int i=0; i<individuals.length; i++){ files[i].close(); } Inside the Individual's fitness test: FileInputStream fin = new FileInputStream("testfiles/GradifIn"+index); FileOutputStream fout = new FileOutputStream("testfiles/GradifOut"+index); Process process = Runtime.getRuntime().exec ("./gradif"); OutputStream stdin = process.getOutputStream(); InputStream stdout = process.getInputStream(); Then, later.... try{ fin.close(); fout.close(); stdin.close(); stdout.close(); process.getErrorStream().close(); }catch (IOException ioe){ ioe.printStackTrace(); } Then, afterwards, I append an 'END' to the files to make parsing them easier. FileWriter writer = new FileWriter("testfiles/GradifOut"+index, true); writer.write("END"); try{ writer.close(); }catch(IOException ioe){ ioe.printStackTrace(); } My redirection of stdin and stdout for gradif are from this answer. I tried using the try{close()}catch{} syntax to see if there was a problem with closing any of the files (there wasn't), and I got that from this answer. It should also be noted that the Individuals' fitness tests run concurrently. UPDATE: I've actually been able to narrow it down to the exec() call. In my most recent run, I first ran in to trouble at generation 733 (with a population size of 100). Why are the earlier generations fine? I don't understand why, if there's no leaking, the algorithm should be able to pass earlier generations but fail on later generations. And if there is leaking, then where is it coming from? UPDATE2: In trying to figure out what's going on here, I would like to be able to see (preferably in real-time) how many files the JVM has open at any given point. Is there an easy way to do that?

  • Runtime error in C code (strange double conversion)

    - by Miro Hassan
    I have a strange runtime error in my C code. The Integers comparison here works fine. But in the Decimals comparison, I always get that the second number is larger than the first number, which is false. I am pretty new to C and programming in general, so this is a complex application to me. #include <stdio.h> #include <stdbool.h> #include <stdlib.h> int choose; long long neLimit = -1000000000; long long limit = 1000000000; bool big(a,b) { if ((a >= limit) || (b >= limit)) return true; else if ((a <= neLimit) || (b <= neLimit)) return true; return false; } void largerr(a,b) { if (a > b) printf("\nThe First Number is larger ..\n"); else if (a < b) printf("\nThe Second Number is larger ..\n"); else printf("\nThe Two Numbers are Equal .. \n"); } int main() { system("color e && title Numbers Comparison && echo off && cls"); start:{ printf("Choose a Type of Comparison :\n\t1. • Deploying Django on EC2 using Bitnami Djangostack: WSGI script cannot be loadded

    - by Arman
    I've been struggling to deploy Django application on Amazon EC2 using Bitnami Djangostack for the last couple of days. When I go to http://dewey.io I see the default bitnami page (/opt/bitnami/apache2/htdocs/index.html), however, when I open http://dewey.io/portnoy, I get 'Internal Server Error'. But it's known that if mod_wsgi is setup correctly, the DocumentRoot value from httpd.conf is ignored, thus, I should see my Django application when accessing http://dewey.io. Essentially, the main error is this - 'Target WSGI script cannot be loaded as Python module'. Two questions: 1) any ideas how to fix these mod_wsgi errors (the Apache logs are below)? 2) how to disable the default /opt/bitnami/apache2/htdocs/index.html page and show my homepage from django application when accessing http://dewey.io? • How do I repeat a texture with GLKit?

    - by Synopfab
    I am using GLKit in order to show textures on my project. The code is like this: -(void)setTextureImage:(UIImage *)image { NSError *error; texture = [GLKTextureLoader textureWithCGImage:image.CGImage options:nil error:&error]; if (error) { NSLog(@"Error loading texture from image: %@",error); } } effect.texture2d0.envMode = GLKTextureEnvModeReplace; effect.texture2d0.target = GLKTextureTarget2D; effect.texture2d0.name = texture.name; glEnableVertexAttribArray(GLKVertexAttribTexCoord0); glVertexAttribPointer(GLKVertexAttribTexCoord0, 2, GL_FLOAT, GL_FALSE, 0, self.textureCoordinates); Now I want to repeat this texture on a rectangle. Is there any way use GLKit for this behavior? I've tried to use opengl function in addition to the glkit ones, but it raises errors: glEnable(GL_TEXTURE_2D); glTexParameterf( GL_TEXTURE_2D, GL_TEXTURE_WRAP_S, GL_REPEAT ); glBindTexture( GL_TEXTURE_2D, texture.name ); 2011-11-09 20:10:28.614 **[16309:207] GL ERROR: 0x0500 2011-11-09 20:10:30.840 **[16309:207] Error loading texture from image: Error Domain=GLKTextureLoaderErrorDomain Code=8 "The operation couldn’t be completed. • Intermittent Internet Explorer Error whilst using Javascript to traverse XML Nodes

    - by Sykth
    Hi there all, Basically I use a javascript SOAP plugin to send and receive XML from a web service. Recently I've been experiencing intermittment (1 in every 20-30 times) errors in IE when trying to access data in the XML file. Bear with me on this, I'm going to try and go into a fair amount of detail to help anyone who is willing to read this: I have a html file, with an external javascript file attached. In the javascript file I include 5 global variables: var soapRes; var questionXML; var xRoot; var assessnode; var edStage = 0; Once the html file is at a readystate I request the XML file from the web service like this: function initNextStage(strA) { // Set pl Parameters here var pl = new SOAPClientParameters(); // soap call var r = SOAPClient.invoke(url, "LoadAssessment", pl, true, initStage_callBack); } function initStage_callBack(r, soapResponse) { soapRes = soapResponse; initvalues(); function initvalues(){ xRoot = soapRes.documentElement; assessnode = xRoot.getElementsByTagName("ed")[0]; questionXML = assessnode.getElementsByTagName("question")[edStage]; } } Once this is completed the XML should be loaded into memory via the global variable soapRes. I then save values to the XML before moving one node down the XML tree, and pulling the next set of values out of it. function submitAns1() { var objAns; var corElem; var corElemTxt; questionXML = assessnode.getElementsByTagName("question")[edStage]; objAns = questionXML.getElementsByTagName("item")[0].getAttribute("answer"); corElem = soapRes.createElement("correct"); corElemTxt = soapRes.createTextNode("value"); questionXML.appendChild(corElem); corElem.appendChild(corElemTxt); if(objAns == "t") { corElemTxt.nodeValue = "true"; } else { corElemTxt.nodeValue = "false"; } edStage++; questionXML = assessnode.getElementsByTagName("question")[edStage]; var inc1 = questionXML.getElementsByTagName("sentence")[0]; var inc2 = questionXML.getElementsByTagName("sentence")[1]; var edopt1 = questionXML.getElementsByTagName("item")[0]; var edopt2 = questionXML.getElementsByTagName("item")[1]; var edopt3 = questionXML.getElementsByTagName("item")[2]; var edopt4 = questionXML.getElementsByTagName("item")[3]; var edopt5 = questionXML.getElementsByTagName("item")[4]; var temp1 = edopt1.childNodes[0].nodeValue; var temp2 = edopt2.childNodes[0].nodeValue; var temp3 = edopt3.childNodes[0].nodeValue; var temp4 = edopt4.childNodes[0].nodeValue; var temp5 = edopt5.childNodes[0].nodeValue; } This is an example of our XML: <ed> <appid>Administrator</appid> <formid>ED009</formid> <question id="1"> <sentence id="1">[email protected]</sentence> <sentence id="2">[email protected]</sentence> <item id="0" answer="f" value="0">0</item> <item id="1" answer="f" value="1">1</item> <item id="2" answer="f" value="2">2</item> <item id="3" answer="t" value="3">3</item> <item id="4" answer="f" value="4">4</item> </question> <question id="2"> <sentence id="1">Beausdene 13</sentence> <sentence id="2">Beauscene 83</sentence> <item id="0" answer="f" value="0">0</item> <item id="1" answer="f" value="1">1</item> <item id="2" answer="t" value="2">2</item> <item id="3" answer="f" value="3">3</item> <item id="4" answer="f" value="4">4</item> </question> </ed> The error I receive intermittently is that "questionXML" is null or not an object. Specifically this line when I call on the submitAns1() method: questionXML = assessnode.getElementsByTagName("question")[edStage]; This solution works on FF, Opera, Chrome & Safari without any issues as far as I am aware. Am I accessing the XML nodes incorrectly? I've been toying with fixes for this bug for weeks now, I'd really appreciate any insight into what I'm doing wrong. On a side note, this is a personal project of mine - it's not university related - I'm much too old for that! Any help greatly appreciated. Regards, Sykth.
