jQuery tabs: Post previously selected tab when opening a new one

Hi Having two forms, each in it's own jQuery UI tab, how can I post the form in the deselected tab when clicking a new tab? This I need to do to maintain state at the server side when the user navigates between tabs. I have looked into something like $('#tab-container-id').bind('tabsselect', function(event, ui) { ... }); but haven't found a way to get to the tab being hidden and post it's form contents. One way to set this up would be to enclose the whole tab set inside a form element that would be submitted whenever a tab is selected but I would rather have a form inside each tab, each with it's own action (that gets bound to different Spring MVC command objects). Thanks for any hints...

Line 1, position 2. Any idea why? And what I can do to fix this?

I thought that the default behaviour of the Ajax.BeginForm was exactly not to do that? Where's my newbie mistake? My Controller is called correctly, but data passing also doesn't work. Probably because of the same mistake? Good examples of MVVM Template

I am currently working with the Microsoft MVVM template and find the lack of detailed examples frustrating. The included ContactBook example shows very little Command handling and the only other example I've found is from an MSDN Magazine article where the concepts are similar but uses a slightly different approach and still lack in any complexity. Are there any decent MVVM examples that at least show basic CRUD operations and dialog/content switching? ASP.NET MVC: AuthorizeAttribute on default page

The default controller in my ASP.NET MVC project is decorated with the [Authorize] attribute. When I deploy the website on my development machine and access the website, I am redirected to the login page (defined in forms loginUrl section of the Web.Config). Result: everything works as expected. When I publish the website on our production server (Windows Server 2008, IIS 7, DefaultAppPool) and access the website, the expected address shows in the address bar (/Account/LogOn?ReturnUrl=*my_expected_return_url*), but the page displays "You do not have permission to view this directory or page." instead of the login page. If I remove the [Authorize] attribute on the default controller/action, the page displays correctly. My Web.Config file: sessionState mode="InProc" timeout="30" authentication mode="Forms" forms loginUrl="~/Account/LogOn" timeout="2880"

MVC 1.0 FormCollection wiped out by running SSRS report

I have an MVC 1.0 app with a form that works just fine. The app also launches an SSRS using the URL ReportServer interface (**Not the Webform ReportViewer Control!). This also works just fine. But if I export the generated SSRS report (say to .pdf), and then return to the MVC application, no form will work. By "not work" I mean that on the Post action, the form collection is not returned. I'm completely lost as to what could be causing this behavior. Any ideas? Thanks in advance.

jQuery UI sortable('cancel') - this.helper is null

I am trying to disable a sortable element from sorting when it has been double clicked. When I try to disable it, even without a condition, it gives me the error 'this.helper is null'. $('.roundedBox:first', division).sortable({ start: function( event, ui ) { if( true === true ) { $(this).sortable('cancel'); } $(this).parent().data( 'sorting', true ); }, stop: function() { $(this).parent().data( 'sorting', false ); }, items: '.department', update: function() {}, placeholder: 'department-placeholder' }) Any ideas on how I can do this? I don't need it to be this method. Literally anything thing that stops it will work. The problem is, sorting starts on a single click, but I have another action bound to double click. If it's double clicked, I don't want it to drag.

jQuery Block UI: node is undefined

I'm close to finishing an app that uses quite a bit of JS. Recently Firebug started throwing an error that says "node is undefined", referring to data.parent = node.parentNode; on line 209 of jQuery blockUI plugin Version 2.31 (06-JAN-2010) @requires jQuery v1.2.3 or later. I'm using jQuery 1.4.2 When I remove the code from my page that triggers the Block UI action, the error is still there. So it does not seem to be an issue in my code but an "error" in the file itself, or perhaps some kind of conflict with another file? For info my code is below. My IDE is highlighting some syntax errors in here but it does that even when there are none. I am using TexMaker of Karmic Ubuntu with Okular. I use pdfLatex to compile and I view the PDFs in Okular. How can I configure Okular to inverse search with TexMaker? I have tried the following code: texmaker %f -line %l but it does not work. I have tried double clicking, ctrl+click, shift+click, ctrl+shift+click, ctrl+alt+click, alt+shift+click, still nothing. Perhaps I simply don't know what the action is to initiate the inverse search from within Okular. How can I configure Okular to inverse search with TexMaker?

I'm using QTableView and QStandardItemModel to show some data. For each row, there is a column which has a check Box, this check box is inserted by setItem, the code is as follows: int rowNum; QStandardItemModel *tableModel; QStandardItem* __tmpItem = new QStandardItem(); __tmpItem->setCheckable(true); __tmpItem->setCheckState(Qt::Unchecked); tableModel->setItem(rowNum,0,__tmpItem); Now I want to interact with the check box. If a check box changes its state by user (from checked to unchecked or vice versa), I want to do something on the corresponding data row. I know I can use signal-slot to catch the change of checkbox, but since there are lots of data row, I don't want to connect each row one by one. Is there anyway to interact with the check action more effectively? Thanks :)

I am confused about the iPhone responder chain. Specifically, in the iPhone event handling guide http://developer.apple.com/iPhone/library/documentation/iPhone/Conceptual/iPhoneOSProgrammingGuide/EventHandling/EventHandling.html, we have the following: The first responder is the responder object in an application (usually a UIView object) that is designated to be the first recipient of events other than touch events. But UIView is a subclass of UIResponder. And the UIResponder class reference says this: - (BOOL)canBecomeFirstResponder Return Value YES if the receiver can become the first responder, NO otherwise. Discussion Returns NO by default. If a responder object returns YES from this method, it becomes the first responder and can receive touch events and action messages. Subclasses must override this method to be able to become first responder. I am confused by the apparent contradiction. Can anyone clear it up for me? For what it's worth, I did set up a simple view-based application, and call canBecomeFirstResponder and isFirstResponder on its view. Both returned NO.

Richfaces calendar manual input value not binding

Hi, I've got a richfaces calendar component defined as <rich:calendar id="startDate" value="#{myBean.dateSet.startDate}" timeZone="#{myBean.dateSet.timeZone}" datePattern="#{myBean.dateSet.datePattern}" enableManualInput="true" immediate="true"> <a4j:support event="onchanged" action="#{myBean.adjustEndDate}" reRender="startDate,endDate" ajaxSingle="true" /> </rich:calendar> when I'm changing the date using the calendar popup/gui everything is working fine. However when I'm changing it via the input text field, the value is not being updated to myBean.dateSet.startDate, although it is being updated correctly on the calendar component itself (i.e. if I click the icon for calendar popup it shows the updated current date). Any suggestions on how I can get it to update the value to myBean correctly? Thanks!

Hi, I'm trying to implement an UPnP MediaServer in WCF. I'm slowly getting there, but now I've hit a brick wall. I need to add a prefix to the ServiceContract namespace. Right now I have the following: [ServiceContract(Namespace = "urn:schemas-upnp-org:service:ContentDirectory:1")] public interface IContentDirectory { [OperationContract(Action = "urn:schemas-upnp-org:service:ContentDirectory:1#Browse")] void Browse(string ObjectID, string BrowseFlag, string Filter, ulong StartingIndex, ulong RequestedCount, string SortCriteria, out string Result, out ulong NumberReturned, out ulong TotalMatches, out ulong UpdateID); } This listens to the correct soap-messages. However, I need the soap-body to begin with <u:Browse xmlns-u="urn:schemas-upnp-org:service:ContentDirectory:1"> and WCF is now listening to: <Browse xmlns="urn:schemas-upnp-org:service:ContentDirectory:1"> How do I get the prefix there? Does it matter? Or is there another reason why the parameters are not passed into the Browse method?

Here is a code snippet: _lockFrame = new DispatcherFrame(true); Dispatcher.PushFrame(_lockFrame); When I tried: Dispatcher.CurrentDispatcher.Invoke( DispatcherPriority.Normal, new Action(() => _lockFrame = new DispatcherFrame(true)); Dispatcher.PushFrame(_lockFrame); I get the error: Objects must be created by the same thread. What is the approach for pushing multiple frames into the Dispatcher from different threads?

I am attempting to connect a new Orbeon XForm to an existing exist db. Getting started with zxing on android

Hi I'm trying to add zxing to my project (add a button which calls the scanner upon press). I found this: http://groups.google.com/group/android-developers/browse_thread/thread/788eb52a765c28b5 and of course the zxing homesite: http://code.google.com/p/zxing/, but still couldn't figure out what to include in the project classpath to make it all work! as for now, I copied the classes in the first link to my project (with some package name changes), and it runs but crashes after pressing the button and trying to install the barcode scanner. some code: private void setScanButton(){ Button scan = (Button) findViewById(R.id.MainPageScanButton); scan.setOnClickListener(new OnClickListener() { @Override public void onClick(View v) { IntentIntegrator.initiateScan(MyActivity.this); } }); } resulting error (from logcat): 06-13 15:26:01.540: ERROR/AndroidRuntime(1423): Uncaught handler: thread main exiting due to uncaught exception 06-13 15:26:01.560: ERROR/AndroidRuntime(1423): android.content.ActivityNotFoundException: No Activity found to handle Intent { act=android.intent.action.VIEW dat=market://search?q=pname:com.google.zxing.client.android } Ideas?

How to popViewController from button click of custom UITableViewCell

I have a button in a custom UITableViewCell. Its UITableView is controlled by a UIViewController. I would like to return to the RootView when that button is clicked. I am trying to use [self.superview.navigationController popViewControllerAnimated:YES]; in the target Action of the button, which is in the UITableViewCell.m file. However, it doesn't recognize "navigationController" because it is not in the stack. How can I return to the RootView when that button is clicked?
