Is it possible to change the unit for Paint.setTextSize()? As far as I know, it's pixel but I like to set the text size in DIP for multiple screen support.
Thanks
Hi, I'm doing image modification on my iphone simulator using pixel value.
I created severals photo that I saved in the User Photo Album, and I want to get it back from the simulator to my imac. Where can I found the image?
What would be the best format to numerically represent a color in .NET so that I wouldn't have to use the Color object? Right now I am saving the color as a the HTML representation, but in order to use it I have to parse it out.
I am dealing with a 800x600 canvas that stores a color value for each pixel and I need to be able to render the color out as quick as possible without bloating my application out to storing 500k+ color objects.
I want to create 2 bits per pixel GIF files in VC environment from a TIFF file.
Is there any free library or maybe source that could help me?
Or how can I do it myself?
Hi there,
is there a way to reduce the space between two sections of a UITableView? There are about 15 pixel between every single section I have. I did already try to return 0 for -tableView:heightForFooterInSection: and -tableView:heightForHeaderInSection: but that doesn't change anything.
Any suggestions? Thanks in advance.

What Mac OS X (leopard) application can I use to create favicon.ico -like ico files?
Note: This is not to create widget icons or the like, but the (e.g. 16x16 pixel) files that appear on a web browser's tab and alongside a bookmark...
Hi,
I have used Bitmap class to convert tiff to Gif but it couldn't make the image 2 bit possible for have less size.
Notice that bitmap class could create images with this pixel format :
1, 4, 8, 16, 32, 64 (bits)
But my need is 2 bit.
Could someone help me ?
img_hsv is a Mat element of an hsv image!
when i give cout<<*img_hsv.data+10; it gives true value of the pixel ie 79 as output.
but when i assign uchar * a=img_hsv.data+10; it gives me some other value...
can you please explain me why is this the case? thanks!
Hi
I create a bitmap from bytes coming from the web, and I downsample it, the resulted Jpg is still too big although I use small pixel format, someone know how to manipulate compression of the image, because I had impression that the saved image is not compressed anymore.
Thanks
GdipBitmapLockBits works on pBitmaps, requires locking ?
CreatDIBSection gives you a DIBsection, doesn't require locking ?
which method is better for working with raw pixel data ?
Here are two implementations for finding the difference between two images using each method.
I want to read a rectangular area, or just one pixel from my screen. As if screenshot button was pressed, but it wouldnt copy the whole screen necessary. So im not talking just about my own program window pixels.
How i do this?
I want to see my pixel coordinates on moviing my mouse on the image in picture box
I have added this event Form.designer.cs
this.MouseDown += new System.Windows.Forms.MouseEventHandler(this.pictureBox1_MouseDown);
and this method in Form.cs
private void pictureBox1_MouseDown(object sender, System.Windows.Forms.MouseEventArgs e)
{
locationtxt.Text = e.X.ToString() + "," + e.Y.ToString();
}
but I cann't see anything in textbox on moving my mouse on form runtime.
What should i add further.
regards,
I want to implement a layering system in my application and was thinking of creating a bunch of trabsparent bitmaps, adding content to them then blitting them on top of each other, how can this be done without setting each pixel to (0,0,0,0). I'm using Pure win32, not MFC, thanks.
Hello,
in my class I have an attribute IBOutlet UIImageView *imageView; And if I want to draw an image in this view I do : imageView.image = [UIImage imageNamed:@"foo.png"];
But how can I do to draw some points with coordinate x, y (in pixel) directly in the view ?
Thanks !

All the examples I've see for using the Gallery view in Android set a specific pixel size for the images using:
i.setLayoutParams(new Gallery.LayoutParams(200, 200));
Can someone give me an example of how to size a gallery image using XML so that I can use dp units?
Thanks!
Tried various sites. All download links point to pixel-apes.com which no longer seems in existence.
Any alternatives you guys like? I'm planning on using Markdown if that affects anything.
Thanks!
Getting started with ImageMagic and trying to find a way to do this... If an image is less than 50 pixels tall or 50 pixels wide, I'd like to place it (un-scaled) in the horizontal/vertical center of a new 50x50 pixel canvas on top of a white background - and save that as the new image. Anyone know if this is possible with ImageMagick? Thanks!
I dont know, if it is right forum to ask such question.
I am new in web designing and developemnt. I am confused with page layout and pixels.
How can I get right information on page designing, and idea of page layout, and pixel measuremnt.
Is there a way in python to programmatically determine the width of the console? I mean the number of characters that fits in one line without wrapping, not the pixel width of the window.
Edit
Looking for a solution that works on Linux
I'd like to know if there is a way to dynamically modify/access the data contained in html images just as if they were an html5 canvas element. With canvas, you can in javascript access the raw pixel data with getImageData() and putImageData(), but I have thus far been not able to figure out how to do this with images.
Hi,
I am doing some image sampling. What my question is, is there a 'crosshair' tool in visual studio? I want to have several instances on a single form, be able to move them around and then sample those points, obviously returning the color of the pixel at the center of the crosshair, is there already a tool that will do this, before I go and write one?
Thanks, R.
I would like to create a simple filter for VirtualDub application. The filter had to invert colors on image. How to create a simple loop, which would invert the colors for each pixel?
