    I've been looking for a good book for windows shell programming, and the only one I could find is Visual C++ Windows Shell Programming by Dino Eposito: http://www.wintellect.com/BookInformation.aspx?ASIN=1861001843 It is an old book, and I'd like to know if you know of any good resources which could help. I need to develop a couple of windows explorer extensions, and apparently managed code is not recommended by Microsoft at least for some of these tasks.   • How does fork() return for child process

    I know that fork() returns differently for the son and father processes, but I'm unable to find information on how this happens. How does the son process receive the return value 0 from fork? And what is the difference in regards to the call stack? As I understand it, for the father it goes something like this: father process--invokes fork--system_call--calls fork--fork executes--returns to--system_call--returns to--father process. What happens in the son side?

    Hi, I've several web user controls on my asp.net page and I wanna pass values between them. For example : There is a dropDownList in one of them and when user selects any item from dropDownList, it can pass the selected value to the other user control which includes GridView to show related data of selected item value from the user control which contains the dropdownlist.     Hi, I am using JBOSS 4.2.2 server to deploy multiple web applications. Each application uses Hibernate and for each application there are saperate log files and saparate appendar. Now for Hibernate logging statements of one application should go in log file of that particular application. Does anybody has idea how to configure log4j.xml file to achieve this?   • Get error with connect to server “Trust anchor for certification path not found.”

    I wrote code in android for connecting to server with ssl, I use BKS algorithm, I can create socket but when I send data to switch, I get this error javax.net.ssl.SSLHandshakeException: java.security.cert.CertPathValidatorException: Trust anchor for certification path not found. It is wonderful for me, I can connect to another server in local network with another BKS file and I can get response from that server, but with correct certificate in outside network, I cannot connect to another server, is it possible with network problem?
