• 'mount: error while loading shared libraries: libudev.so.0 : no such file or directory' error while booting

  I was trying to load a version of CGminer which was returning a libudev type error, and followed a supposed solution here but it destroyed my system (so it seems). I loaded the system in recovery mode from GRUB but all that done was actually tell me what I something is broken, do not know what to do next. I think I somehow associated a libudev.so.0 to 1 or 1 to 0, I am not sure what I did and how to fix it.

  I use the following code to create Parallax Scrolling: http://www.david-gouveia.com/portfolio/2d-camera-with-parallax-scrolling-in-xna/ Parallax Scrolling is working but I don't know how to add the player and the enemies. I tried to add a player class to the existing code, but if the player moves, then the camera isn't pointing at the player. The player leaves the camera viewport after a few seconds. I use the following code(as described in the tutorial), but it's not working: // Updates my camera to lock on the character _camera.LookAt(player.Playerposition); What can I do so that the player is always the center of the camera? How should I add the character and the enemies to the game? Should I create a layer for the character and the enemies?   I'm using Windows 7 64 bits and I'm trying to install Google Chrome. However, every time I do, I get this error message: Google Update installation failed with error 0x80004002. There is a Show me help for this issue link, but it does nothing. I tried the standalone installer to no avail. I also tried to delete the HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Google registry key, as suggested by other answers, with no more positive effects.

• Apache - child process exited with status 255

  I am running Windows 7 64-bit with an older version of (Apache 2.0.59) and PHP 5.2 - just switched from XP and wanted to keep the same versions. Everything will initially be working fine, but then I'll be trying to load a page and Apache crashes. I'll get an error in the browser that says "The connection to the server was reset while the page was loading." Then Apache stops running. Sometimes it can be restarted, but then crashes again on the next page load. Sometimes it can't even be restarted at all. Looking in the Apache error logs, I see a series of messages that goes something like: [notice] Apache/2.0.59 (Win32) PHP/5.2.13 configured -- resuming normal operations [notice] Server built: Jul 27 2006 15:55:03 [notice] Parent: Created child process 1220 [notice] Child 1220: Child process is running [notice] Child 1220: Acquired the start mutex. I have just come from Win XP where I never had any problems - is this an issue with my Apache version on Win7? Or perhaps it's a configuration issue?   When I run a tightvnc client to establish a VNC session I sometimes receive an error message that suggests there are repeated failed VNC login attempts or a brute force attack. The message dialog title is "unsupported security type" and the text content is "too many authentication failures, try another connection? yes/no". This problem goes away if I reboot the Ubuntu server and reload the VNC server program and try again. From that point, it will work for multiple VNC sessions. My VNC sessions are typically about 20 minutes. At some time in the future, the problem may recur so it seems correlated to the time the server has been up or the time tightvnc has been loaded. Typically it takes only a day or so before the problem comes back. I am using tightvnc 1.3 on an server running Ubuntu 12.04. The version of vncserver is rather dated because that seems to be all that is available from tightvnc for linux servers. On the client side I use the newest Java-based VNC client (version 2.5) for both Windows access and Ubuntu access. All my VNC sessions are via SSH. I am the only user and I will typically use only the same client computer. How can I stop this problem from recurring? Edit I found the log file. This is a small excerpt of what I am seeing. Essentially, various IPs, not my own, are attempting to connect. • Mounting an Azure blob container in a Linux VM Role

  I previously asked a question about this topic but now I prefer to rewrite it from scratch because I was very confused back then. I currently have a Linux XS VM Role in Azure. I basically want to create a self-managed and evoluted hosting service using VMs rather than Azure's more-expensive Web Roles. I also want to take advantage of load balancing (between VM Roles) and geo-replication (of Storage Roles), making sure that the "web files" of customers are located in a defined and manageable place. One way I found to "mount" a drive in Linux VM is described here and involves mounting a VHD onto the virtual machine. From what I could learn, the VHD is reliably-stored in a storage role, and is exclusively locked by the VM that uses it. Once the VM Role has its drive I can format the partition to any size I want. I don't want that!! I would like each hosted site to have its own blob directory, then each replicated/load-balanced VM Role to rw mount like in NFS that blob directory to read HTML and script files. The database is obviously courtesy of Microsoft :) My question is Is it possible to actually mount a blob storage into a directory in the Linux FS? Is it possible in Windows Server 2008?

• NPS wont run or install error code 0x80070643

  attempt to install network policy server failed with error code 0x80070643 fatal error during installation. The sbs server ran an update on friday and since then NPS has not worked, I have checked permissions on system32\IAS and the builtin OU but still cannot run NPS. My last attempt to removed and reinstall has now left the machine unable to install NPS at all! Has anyone seen this or have a direction to suggest? Other google's have shown people haven't resolved it!

  Does anyone know how to use Nortel Netdirect (Version 7.1.3.0) with Windows 7 64 bit (Home Premium)? There are several ways available to me for connecting, all of which work for me on a 32-bit XP machine: Nortel Contivity VPN client (v6_02.022). The installer appears to be 16-bit, so I can't even install it on a 64-bit machine. Web-based SSL via IE Web-based SSL via Firefox The Web-based SSL process is supposed to load Netdirect and start it up, establishing the VPN connection. Using Firefox, I'm able to authenticate with my smartcard, but when it tries to download the applet, the process stops with a message box saying that it couldn't download the zip file. If I run Firefox in Vista compatibility mode, it gets a little farther, and manages to start Netdirect, but then exits after notifying me that the netdirect adapter was not installed.   Whenever I ssh with X11 forwarding to a remote box from my macbook I get the following error after a few seconds pause: Warning: untrusted X11 forwarding setup failed: xauth key data not generated Warning: No xauth data; using fake authentication data for X11 forwarding. Any ideas on how to fix this?

• freeFTPd and scp/sshfs

  When I connect to freeFTPd using the CLI 'sftp' client from my Ubuntu system, it works find. Unfortunately, that client sucks at downloading whole directory trees. So I tried to use scp and I get "exec request failed on channel 0" So I tried sshfs. I can browse the directory structure, but it lists the files and says they do not exist. The freeFTPd server logs have no useful information.

I successfully installed the SiteMinder binaries and registered the trusted host with the server, but I am having trouble getting the apache mod to load correctly.
