• Validating Login / Changing User settings / Php Mysql

  Hi everyone, my questions are about login, and changing already saved data. (Q1) 'Till now I've only saved input in the tables of the database (registration steps), now I need to check if the input (login steps), are the same of my table in database, in fact I have 3 types of users, then I'll have to check 3 kind of tables. Then if the input data matches with one of those 3 tables I will redirect the user to his specific area. I'm thinking about saved the submitted data $login=$_REQUEST['login']; and $password=$_REQUEST['password']; and compare with the login column in the database. Then if the login matches, I'll compare the password submitted with the one in the row, not in the column. But I don't know how to do this search and comparison,neither what to use. Then if both matches I'll redirect the user. Else I'll send an login error message. (this I know how to do) (Q2) What if need to change an already saved user ? For example to change an email address. My changing user's data web page is exactly the same like the registration user web page. Can I load the already saved options and values of registration (table user for example). Then the user will change whatever he thinks it's necessary, and then when he submits the new information, they would not create a new row in my table, but just be overwritten the old information? How can I do this? Sorry for any mistake in English, and Thanks for the attention.

  I want to create games for Iphone/Ipod touch. Unfortunately I don't have a lot of money so I can buy only one device. Ipod is cheaper than Iphone, so I decided to bought Ipod touch. But I am afraid of buying 3rd generation - because it has more memory, more faster CPU, etc. And I think if I post my app on appstore - people with 2nd generation Ipod might have trouble with my app (because I was testing it on 3rd generation). But on the other hand - I am planning to create 3d/cpu demanding game - and it would be easy for me to implement it on device with more calculation power... What should I do in this situation? Any advice is appreciate.

• Reversing the effects of mkimage to get an original gzipped file back

  Hello, We develop for a specific embedded device at our company, and part of that is making initial root disks that get loaded onto the devices over ethernet via netboot. We've experienced some problems, and as a result, the original folder with the contents of the initial root disks was lost along with its backups, but we do still have the initrd images, that have been created by gzipping the contents of a ramdisk that's been mounted as a local loop device, and then running mkimage on the gzipped file. Is there any way to undo the effects of mkimage and obtain the original gzipped content so that we can recover the original images ?

• How can I get a custom made set of checkboxes return values in the postback?

The problem is that when this page posts back via some event on the page, I never get these tags in the Request.Form collection. Is this simply how ASP.NET works (e.g. only server-side control post back) or am I missing something simple. My understanding was that a postback should bring back all the form variables.

  I have two text intputs, both have to run an autocompletion. The site is using Bootstrap, and the « typeahead » component. I have this HTML : <input type="text" class="js_typeahead" data-role="artist" /> <input type="text" class="js_typeahead" data-role="location" /> I'm using the « data-role » attribute (that is sent to the Ajax controller as a $_POST index), in order to determine what kind of data has to be retrieved from the database. But the problem is the second "typeahead" returns the same values than the first one (list of Artists). I assume it's because the listener is attached to the object « myTypeahead », and this way the "data-role" attribute which is used, will always be the same. I think I could fix it by using something like : data_role = $(this).attr('data-role'); But of course this doesn't work, as it's a different scope. Maybe I'm doing it all wrong, but at least maybe you people could give me a hint. Sorry if this has already been discussed, I actually searched but without success. • Performance of DirectX and Recent Windows Mobile Version

  I'm seeing very poor performance while using the managed DirectDraw wrappers for WindowsMobile. Microsoft.WindowsMobile.DirectX.Direct3D I would appear the biggest bottle neck is calling Device.Present() after building up the scene. When using the System.Diagnostics.Stopwatch and running this very trivial exmaple Using Sprites on MSDN I'm seeing it's taking approximately 150ms to call the Device.Present() method. I'm seeing this on my AT&T Tilt and on the emulator. In larger applications such as the UltimateGMan sample it's taking over a second to call this method. Does anyone have any experience with using DirectX on mobile devices? What am I missing? I would prefer to stay in the managed world but if I drop back into C++ would I see better performance?

I know I could do it with the following SQL (for the names): SELECT FirstName, LastName FROM student, courseenrolement WHERE courseenrolement.studentID = student.studentID But I am unsure how to get this to work using HTML/PHP. • Are CMAttitude and CATransform3D related by rotational matrices?

  I'm looking at the core motion class CMAttitude, it can express the device's orientation as a 3x3 rotational matrix. At the same time I've taken a look at the CATransform3D, which encapsulates the view's attitude, as well as scaling. The CATransform3D is a 4x4 matrix. I've seen that the OpenGL rotational matrix is 4x4 and is simply 0001 padded in the 4th row and column. I'm wandering if the CMAttitude's rotational matrix is related to CATransform's matrix? Can I use the device's rotation in space obtained via a rotational matrix to transform a UIView using CATransform3D? My intention is to let the user move the phone and apply the same transform to a UIView on the screen. Bonus question: if they are related, how do I transform a CMAttitude's rotational matrix to CATransform3D?

Is there a way to make the cvtColor function create an output that is already split into channel images? I tried to use constructors of the _OutputArray class that accepts a vector or array of matrices as an input, but it didn't work.

  I have developed an iPad application. In which I am using left/right swipes from corner of screen. The problem is when device is in landscape mode, (though the application is always in portrait orientation) and user wants to swipe left, it opens the notification panel instead of going to swipeAction that I had defined. Note that it works fine when device is kept in portrait mode. Is there any way to make pull down notification panel application orientation specific ? Any kind of help will be appreciated.

  I'm trying to have my application minimized when paused and then when it's resumed, it should be restored to its previous state, not recreated. This works perfectly when deploying the application on a device/emulator from Eclipse. The problem occurs when I get the apk (either from bin\ or from Project - Android tools - Export signed application package) and install it on a device with a file browser (Astro): the application is destroyed when paused and then recreated. I can call moveTaskToBack(true); in my activity, yet it will still be recreated when launching it. All the discussions around this are based on achieving the opposite: closing the application when minimizing it. Is there any way of achieving what I want?

Maybe i need to use the $(this) function for the remove. Another possible solution would be to expand the "add project file" to do both adding and removing fields.   I am having difficulties with forms, specifically ModelMultipleChoiceField. I've pieced together this code from various examples, but it sadly doesn't work. • Submit button on nested form submits the outer form in IE7

  I have the following code on my Home.aspx page: <form id="frmJump" method="post" action="Views/ViewsHome.aspx"> <input name="JumpProject" /><input type="submit" value="Go" /> </form> However, when I click the "Go" button, the page posts back to Home.aspx rather than going to ViewsHome.aspx. I even tried adding some script to force the form to submit: <input name="JumpProject" onkeypress="if(event.keyCode == 13) { this.form.submit(); return false; }" /> But still even if I press ENTER, the Home.aspx page is reloaded. The only thing I can see that might be borking things is this form is actually a child form of the main POSTBACK form that ASP.NET injects into the page. I'm sure there's something stupid I'm missing and this post will get 800 downvotes instantly banishing me back into the n00b realm, but perhaps I haven't gotten enough sleep lately and I'm missing something stupid. This is on IE7 and an ASP.NET 4.0 backend. I also have jQuery libraries loaded on the page incase jQuery can improve this somehow. Thanks!

  I am trying to write a python program using Python 3 I have to open a text file and read a list of names, print the list, sort the list in alphabetical order and then finally re-print the list. There's a little more to it than that BUT the problem I am having is that I'm supposed to print the list of names with each name on a separate line Instead of printing each name on a separate line, it prints the list all on one line. • How can I execute an ANTLR parser action for each item in a rule that can match more than one item?

  I am trying to write an ANTLR parser rule that matches a list of things, and I want to write a parser action that can deal with each item in the list independently. Some example input for these rules is: $(A1 A2 A3) I'd like this to result in an evaluator that contains a list of three MyIdentEvaluator objects -- one for each of A1, A2, and A3. Here's a snippet of my grammar: my_list returns [IEvaluator e] : { $e = new MyListEvaluator(); } '$' LPAREN op=my_ident+ { /* want to do something here for each 'my_ident'. */ /* the following seems to see only the 'A3' my_ident */ $e.Add($op.e); } RPAREN ; my_ident returns [IEvaluator e] : IDENT { $e = new MyIdentEvaluator($IDENT.text); } ; I think my_ident is defined correctly, because I can see the three MyIdentEvaluators getting created as expected for my input string, but only the last my_ident ever gets added to the list (A3 in my example input). How can I best treat each of these elements independently, either through a grammar change or a parser action change? It also occurred to me that my vocabulary for these concepts is not what it should be, so if it looks like I'm misusing a term, I probably am. EDIT in response to Wayne's comment: I tried to use op+=my_ident+. In that case, the $op in my action becomes an IList (in C#) that contains Antlr.Runtime.Tree.CommonTree instances. It does give me one entry per matched token in $op, so I see my three matches, but I don't have the MyIdentEvaluator instances that I really want. I was hoping I could then find a rule attribute in the ANTLR docs that might help with this, but nothing seemed to help me get rid of this IList. Result... Based on chollida's answer, I ended up with this which works well: my_list returns [IEvaluator e] : { $e = new MyListEvaluator(); } '$' LPAREN (op=my_ident { $e.Add($op.e); } )+ RPAREN ; The Add method gets called for each match of my_ident.

Therefore, I am looking for something to redirect IO in a process and the data redirect between IO is configurable with a metadata (XML,jason or others).

• how to get this value on method post using asp.net mvc

  I have a lable in the view <%@ Control Language="C#" Inherits="System.Web.Mvc.ViewUserControl<CDC.ITT.Info.StudentBE>" %> <label for="FollowupDate"> Follow-up: <span><input type="text" id="exc-flwup" name="fdate" /></span> </label> $("input[id^='exc-flwup']").datepicker({ duration: '', showTime: true, constrainInput: true, stepMinutes: 30, stepHours: 1, altTimeField: '', time24h: true, minDate: 0 }); when I click on the input field I am getting popupcalender to select the date. My method post is <% using (Html.BeginForm("Update", "home", FormMethod.Post, new { @id = "exc-"})) { %> <%= Html.ValidationSummary(true)%> then Followupdate user is goign to select the perticular date he wants.. when this method post to the method.. public ActionResult Update(StudentBE e) { return View(); } this e should have the date value but I am not able to see the date selected there.. is there anything wrong I am doing here? thanks
