  I have configured and tested the database mail. That all works. I configured SQL Server agent to use the profile I created. I restarted SQL Server agent. When I configure the job and go to notifications and check email the drop down is still blank. What am I missing?

I'm not finding anything explicitly saying so, but there are lots of recommendations to download assorted random software to do it. • Navicat 8/9 crashes my Debian/Linux

  I run Debian 5 + Gnome and it seems that after I made certain updates with aptitude, whenever I run a query in Navicat ( sql program that runs on WINE ), as the results are being presented linux goes into the command line and the GUI dies and it restarts and it asks me to login again ( all my programs crash ). Has anyone experienced this before? Or does anyone have a clue as to how I could go about debugging this? I suspect it's some issue with Gnome and WINE, but I'm not sure.

• No new mail icon in panel when using evolution

  I am using Ubuntu 10.04, kernel 2.6.32-21-generic, with Evolution 2.83.3. I have noticed that when I get a new email, it never shows a new mail icon in the panel. I had the same problem with 9.10, and I thought the problem would go away when I upgraded to 10.04. I have checked the properties in Mail preferences: Play sound - yes Display a notification - yes Indicate new messages in panel - yes Many thanks for any suggestions.

  Can I have different .bashrc files loading when logging into different nodes that share the same home dir? This is, I am mostly interested to loading different PATH directories when logging as bash, depending on the different Linux nodes I log into? For example, if I log into bash in machine abc-01, I would like to have a given .bashrc loaded, but when I log into abc-02, that uses the same /home/username directory, I would like to use a different .bashrc. How can I go about doing that?

  Is there any DirectX diagnostcs tool which will allow me to understand if Graphics acceleration from my GPU is actually working or software rendering is kicking-in instead? I ask this because If I go properties (right click on desktop) -- settings -- I get an error saying my drivers are not working for my Intel Embedded GPU (Intel Embedded Graphics Driver - IEGD) and the system is defaulting to standard VGA drivers. • Will not POST with a USB mouse or keyboard plugged in

  I have an Abit KN9 motherboard, and a USB keyboard and mouse. The computer will not POST with the keyboard or mouse plugged in, but they can be used (and they are fully functional) if you plug them in later, after POST. On the POST side of things, it hangs when it shows the installed processor, and goes no further - pressing DEL to go to setup will not work. I've tried disabling legacy USB support as recommended, but can't find the option anywhere in the BIOS.

  The title says it all. Is there a way to make the loginwindow process start a user session by running a command when remotely logged in via SSH as an admin on Mac OS X? When the machine is at the login window (no user is currently logged in), I want it to open up a user's session as if I had clicked on the username and entered a password.   On Windows Server 2008 R2, my IT administrator has installed a certificate using the windows certificate management tool. The certificate is for *.thedomain.com. He set it up as not exportable for security reasons: I'm not suposed to be able to put my hands on the certificate. This configuration would allow me to use the certificate with microsoft products, but not to go away with the certificate. Q: It there a way to configure Apache 2 to use this certificate "the windows way"?

Here is what I'm doing from the finder : menu Go->connect to server->smb://srv-fichiers1/Personnel/conujer I get an error (error code -36). But, from the finder window, if I click on Shared->All->srv-fichier1->Personnel->conujer, I have access to the directory. I don't understand why I cannot connect straight to conujer.

• Computer doesn't boot with Entertainmen Keyboard 8000?

  I have a Microsoft Wireless Entertainment Keyboard 8000, and when the charger/usb-hub is connected, the computer won't start. All I get is the bios boot screen, and it won't go further. But if I disconnect either the usb-cable or the power-cable to the charger the computer boots normally. Any suggestions as to what's causing this behaviour? I've tried the charger on two different computers with the same result.
