• Android ndk-build command does nothing

  I have a similar question to that posted here: Android NDK: why ndk-build doesn't generate .so file and a new libs folder in Eclipse? ...though I am running Windows 7, not Mac os. Essentially the ndk-build command is run, gives no error but doesn't create an .so file (also, since I'm on windows this should create a .dll and not an .so?). I tried running the command from the root, jni, src folders etc. but got the same result; cmd just returns to the prompter after a few seconds. I ran it again from the jni folder with NDK_LOG=1 parameter to see what was happening. Here is a portion of the transcript of the log results after running ndk-build in the jni folder (after it successfully identified the platform, etc.)... • Need some help for the issues that caused because of secret key in rails application

When I am trying to run the ruby script/about command, it is displaying the details when the secret key in config/initializers/session_store.rb was removed or commented. • Redirect to new page if cookie doesn't exist or if the value of cookie is 'false'

  I have a DOB 'Are you over 18' script which when the form is filled out, validates if they are over 18 or not for a tobacco site I am working on. When this form is filled it stores a cookie 'ageCheck' with a value of either true or false. I'm having some issues with a bit of javascript which is stored on all the pages to determine if they can view the page or if they need to be redirected to the verification page. The javascript is supposed to set a div ID to 'display:block' if passed and if no cookie is found OR the cookie value is false is supposed to redirect them to the age verification page. However, it's just not working. I see the cookies are set correctly. However, when I retrieve the details, I keep finding that the last two guest details are always the same even though different inputs were given. When there are warnings but no errors, the Errors property of the resulting CompilerResults instance contains no items.   Here's what I need to do. I'm using Google Chrome. The reason why the page auto-reloads every 5 seconds is I'm waiting for a specific link or url to appear in the page. It appears at random times. Once I see the link I'm waiting for, I immediately click the link. That's fine. But I want more. What I want is the page will auto-reload and I want it to auto-detect the the link I'm waiting for. Once the script finds the link I'm waiting for, it automatically loads that link on a new tab or page. For example, I'm auto-reloading www.example.com. I'm waiting for a specific url "BUY NOW". When the page auto-reloads, it checks if there's a url "BUY NOW". If it sees one, it should automatically open that link. Thanks.

I was trying to install git on a Linux machine today, and encountered some problems: Not knowing the version of the installed OS, I've opened the /proc/version file which said: Linux version 2.6.9-42.0.2.ELsmp ([email protected]) (gcc version 3.4.6 20060404 (Red Hat 3.4.6-3)) #1 SMP Thu Aug 17 17:57:31 EDT 2006 Then, as written in the git documents (http://git-scm.com/download/linux), I assumed I could use the yum install git command for Fedora, but got the following result. (Possibly an encoding problem, hmm...)   i am new to webservices, I have created a basic stockmarket webservice, I have successfully created the server script for it and placed it in my server, Now I also creted a clent script and accessed it hruogh the same server.. Is it valid ? can boh files be accesed from the same server? or do I have to place them in different servers? If yes Then Y? If No then why do i get the blank page? • How to keep character encoding with database queries.

  Hi, I am doing the following. 1) I am exporting a database and saving it to a file called dump.sql. 2) The file is then transferred to a different server via PHP ftp. 3) When the file has been successfully transferred the administrator has an option to run a 'dbtransfer' script on the new host. 4) This script blows up the script and runs the queries line by line. This works great - however there is a problem with foreign language encoding. We are using UTF-8. Step 1 : This works fine, file is in UTF-8 Format. Step 3 : When I test the contents of the dump.sql file using mb_check_encoding(). The string comes back as UTF-8. Step 4 : This creates tables with utf8_general_ci encoding. The information is dumped in. When I check the table after the transfer I get records like this: 'ç,Ç,ö,Ö,ü,Ü,ı,İ,ş,Ş,ğ,Ğ'. I don't understand how a UTF-8 string can lose its encoding when it goes into the database. Am I missing a step? Do I need to run some sort of function to ensure the string is parsed as UTF-8? Once the system is installed I can save foreign language queries. It is just the transfer that is messing up. Any ideas?

  Hi, I am trying my hardest to find the simplest way to create a basic "model first" entity framework example. However I am struggling with the actually generation of the database, particularly the running of the SQL against the database. Tools Visual Studio 2010 SQL Server 2008 Express Process Create a new class project Add a new Server-Database item (mdf) named "Database1.mdf" to the project Add an empty ADO.net Entity Model Create a simple entity (Person: Id, Name) Generate the Script selecting the Database1 connection created for me by visual studio Right click the script editor and select the "Execute SQL..." option Log in to SQLEXPRESS This is where is falls over saying it cant find a database name "Database1". The "problem" is that the SQL server has not had Database1 attached to it. I am 100% positive that Visual Studio use to attach a database to SQLExpress when it created a new database (Step 2). This appears to not be the case any more (even the beta of VS2010 did it). Can someone confirm this? or tell me how to get this to happen? Is there a way that I can modify the TSQL script to use an un-attached database. ie a file. I know I can use SQL Management Studio or sqlcmd to attach the database, but I would ideally like to avoid the solutions as I would like to see the cleanest method of just using visual studio. Ideal Solutions (in order of most prefered) Get visual studio to attach the newly created database Modify the generated SQL to point to file Thanks in advance.

Date" has a label, a date picker, and two drop down select control for time. I tried setting the width of the datepicker element, and a right margin so that the time selectors would position next to it. But it always sit below it.   Hi guys, I'm newbie around networking, I have a question: what I want is to telnet a specific IP/server, let us say 192.168.128.1 then, I try $telnet 192.168.128.1 Trying... and that's all.. I never get connected one of my friends made some script that "fixes" it, AFTER running it I was able to connect to the server using $telnet 192.168.128.1 $ user: unfortunately I lost that script, so I'm here requesting your help. So i use the following script: document.getElementById("focusForm:testRadioId:0").focus(); But, Some times, i may change dynamically disable the radio field from backing bean. <h:selectOneRadio id="testRadioId" value=""> <f:selectItem id="si1" itemLabel="JSF" itemDisabled="true"/> <f:selectItem id="si2" itemLabel="JSP" /> </h:selectOneRadio> So here i disable the first radio button. • re-use '~/.profile` for Fish?

  (I'm talking about the shell Fish, esp. Fish's Fish.) For Bash/ZSH, I had ~/.profile with some exports, aliases and other stuff. I don't want to have a separate config for environment variables for Fish, I want to re-use my ~/.profile. How? In The FAQ, it is stated that I can at least import those via /usr/local/share/fish/tools/import_bash_settings.py, however I don't really like running that for each Fish-instance.

  I am trying to test the Cybersource 3d party implementation.
