custom tag 'cannot be resolved to a type'

I have a custom tag, packaged into a library jar that is included in my web apps war file. I get the following error: An error occurred at line: 66 in the jsp file: /WEB-INF/jsp/portlet/portfolio/operations/operationsInfo.jsp org.apache.jsp.tag.meta.form.WidgetFactory_tag cannot be resolved to a type 63: <c:forEach var="fldCfg" items="${config.page.fields}" > 64: <tr> 65: <td><form:Label fld="${fldCfg}"/></td> 66: <td><form:WidgetFactory fld="${fldCfg}" decodesMap="${decodesMap}" command="${operationsInfoBean}" dateFormat="${preferredDateFormat}"/></td> 67: </tr> 68: </c:forEach> 69: </table> But it doesn't seem to complain about Label which is in the same taglib. I've confirmed that the jar is in the war and that the tag file is in the jar and the that the TLD (in META-INF) expressly defines 'WidgetFactory' Why am I getting this error?

I have an array of Paths which i want to read out with Template Toolkit. How can I access the array Elements of this array? Method in ICollection in C# that adds all elements of another ICollection to it

Is there some method in ICollection in C# that would add all elements of another collection? Right now I have to always write foreach cycle for this: ICollection<Letter> allLetters = ... //some initalization ICollection<Letter> justWrittenLetters = ... //some initalization ... //some code, adding to elements to those ICollections foreach(Letter newLetter in justWrittenLetters){ allLetters.add(newLetter); } My question is, is there method that can replace that cycle? Like for example the method addAll(Collection c) in Java ? So I would write only something like: allLetters.addAll(justWrittenLetters);

Auto-scaffolding Index views in ASP.NET MVC

I'm trying to write an auto-scaffolder for Index views. I'd like to be able to pass in a collection of models or view-models (e.g., IQueryable<MyViewModel>) and get back an HTML table that uses the DisplayName attribute for the headings (th elements) and Html.Display(propertyName) for the cells (td elements). Each row should correspond to one item in the collection. The <td> elements are not working because the Html in <%= Html.Display(property.DisplayName) %> contains the model for the view, which is a collection of items, not the item itself. Somehow, I need to obtain an HtmlHelper object whose Model property is the current item, but I'm not sure how to do that. How do I solve these two problems?

PHP submit problem

I'm trying to check if the username is available and display it for the user to see when they check there account settings, which I have done. BUT when the user tries to fill out another field I get the Your username is unavailable! which should not pop up because its the users username already. I want to know how can I fix this problem using PHP so that the users name is displayed every time the user views their account settings and it wont cause problems when a user submits additional info? This probably isn't the best way, but I am currently retrieving the amount of RAM on a machine using: manageObjSearch.Query = new ObjectQuery("SELECT TotalVisibleMemorySize FROM Win32_OperatingSystem"); manageObjCol = manageObjSearch.Get(); foreach (ManagementObject mo in manageObjCol) sizeInKilobytes = Convert.ToInt64(mo["TotalVisibleMemorySize"]); It works well and good, but I feel I could be doing this more directly and without a foreach over a single element, but I can't figure out how to index a ManagementObjectCollection I want to do something like this: ManagementObject mo = new ManagementObject("Win32_OperatingSystem.TotalVisibleMemorySize") mo.Get(); Console.WriteLine(mo["TotalVisibleMemorySize"].ToString()) or maybe even something like ManagementClass mc = new ManagementClass("Win32_OperatingSystem"); Console.WriteLine(mc.GetPropertyValue("TotalVisibleMemorySize").ToString()); I just can't seem to figure it out. Any ideas?

PHP + Code Igniter Timecode Calculation Logic Error

Hello everyone, I have what I suspect to be a logic problem with an algorithm I am using to work with Video timecode in PHP. All help is appreciated. The Objective Well basically I want to work with timecode and perform calculations For those not familiar with timecode it looks like this 01:10:58:12 or HH:MM:SS:FF 'AKA' HOURS:MINUTES:SECONDS:FRAMES I have used the script from HERE to help me with working with this format. The Problem Now can i just say that this script works!!! Timecode calculations (in this case additions) are being performed correctly. How to parse app.config using ConfigurationManager?

I was using a certain method for parsing my app.config file. Then I was told that using ConfigurationManager is better and simpler. But the thing is I don't know how to do it with ConfigurationManager. I'm using Windows Forms. For a long time, pictureBox.Invalidate(); worked to make the screen be redrawn. WPF Accessing Items inside Listbox which has a UserControl as ItemTemplate

I have Window that has a ListBox ListBox(MyListBox) has a DataTable for its DataContext ListBox's ItemSource is : {Binding} Listbox has a UserControl(MyUserControl) as DataTemplate UserControl has RadioButtons and TextBoxes (At first They're filled with values from DataTable and then user can change them) Window has one Submit Button What I want to do is, when user clicks the submit button For each ListBox Item, get the values form UserControl's TextBoxes and RadioButtons. I was using that method for this job : foreach(var element in MyListBox.Items) { var border = MyListBox.ItemContainerGenerator.ContainerFromItem(element)as FrameworkElement; MyUserControl currentControl = VisualTreeHelper.GetChild(VisualTreeHelper.GetChild(VisualTreeHelper.GetChild(myBorder,0) as Border,0)as ContentPresenter,0)as MyUserControl; //And use currentControl } I realised nothing when using 3-5 items in Listbox. But when I used much more items, I saw that "var border" gets "null" after some elements looped in foreach function. Is looping through the entityreference the correct way?

I want to get all users that have a specific role to a list of usernames. Is using .Include to include all the users, and going through the UsersReference the best way to loop through all the users that are associated with the role? I noticed I could not do a foreach(User user in role.Users) but UsersReference seem to work, but is that how it's supposed to be done? How do I echo the number of items in an array?

A total newbie question I know. I'm sing Zend framework, and sending an array from the controller: $this->view->googleArray = $viewFeedArray; In the view, I have a foreach loop that is populating a table with the array contents. <?php foreach($this->googleArray as $row) { ?> <tr> <td><?php echo $row['when']; ?></td> ... ... </tr> <?php } ?> It all works fine. At the top of the table, I want to list the number of items in the array. Something like (which doesn't work): <?php echo $this->googleArray->totalResults; ?> event(s) found How would I do that? Why doesn't the highlighted part of the JavaScript work?

Why isn't the 'confirm password and password the same' part working? Meaning, the part that uses the 'getElementById' to adress the password and confirmpassword. Every part works but that particular part. It doesn't show a red box around the text fields. Problems finding classes in namespace

I am trying to find all of the types in the Models namespace within an ASP.NET MVC assembly from within a testing assembly. I was trying to use LINQ to find the relevant set for me but it is returning an empty set on me. Hello, I have an associative array, however when I add values to it using the below function it seems to overwrite the same keys. Is there a way to have multiple of the same keys with different values? Or is there another form of array that has the same format? Can't get custom error rendering to work in symfony 1.4

I'm tring to customize error rendering in my form according to this example. Here is my code: if ($this['message']->hasError()) { $error_msg = '<ul>'; foreach ($this['message']->getError() as $error) $error_msg .= "<li>$error</li>"; $error_msg .= '</ul>'; } return $error_msg; but when $this['message'] has error this code returns '<ul></ul>' so it seems foreach ($this['message']->getError() as $error) causes no iterations $this['message']->getError() returns sfValidatorError object - maybe something changed in symfony 1.4 and it isn't iterable anymore... At first I thought that all magic in that example happened because of object being placed in $error by iteration implements __toString() but it seems no iterations happens at all...

Normally, I will get all records from table1, and for each record (foreach), I will insert it into table2 by using "INSERT ...". @ContextConfiguration in Spring 3.0 give me No default constructor found

I have already do the test using AbstractDependencyInjectionSpringContextTests and it works but in spring 3 it is deprecated, so I decided to try @ContextConfiguration but spring say that default constructor is not found, I check and the class doesn't have any constructor. Hi, I'm building an app using ASP.NET MVC which I want to use a strongly type view model, which contains a List called items which contains an id int and itemName string. The view model also conatins a List called people, and the Person class contains a List. The way I want to display the information is as a table, with each row having a column of Person name, then n number of columns which contain checkboxes, one for each of the List, and checked based on whether the Person's List (called items) contains the id of the Item. I have the display working fine, but I'm struggling to understand how to name the items so that the posted method can read the data. DataTable C# Empty column type

I am trying build a DataTable one row at a time using the following code. foreach (var e in Project.ProjectElements[hi.FakeName].Root.Elements()) { index = 0; object[] obj=new object[count]; foreach (var holdingColumn in names) { string d = e.Attribute(holdingColumn.Key).Value; obj[index++] = d; } dt.Rows.Add(obj); } The problem is the DataTable has types tied to the columns. Sometimes im passing null (or an empty string) in that object index and it is telling me that it cant be converted properly to a DateTime (in this case). My question is what should I default this value to, or is there some way to have the DataTable ignore empty values.
