  • Google Collections sources don't compile

    I just downloaded the Google Collections sources and imported them into a new Eclipse project with JDK 1.6. They don't compile for a couple of reasons: javax.annotation.Nullable can not be found javax.annotation.ParametersAreNonnullByDefault can not be found Cannot reduce the visibility of the inherited method #createCollection() from AbstractMultimap + 11 similar ones Name clash: The method forcePut(K, V) of type AbstractBiMap has the same erasure as forcePut(Object, Object) of type BiMap but does not override it + 2 similar ones What am I missing? I also wonder if unit tests for these collections are available to the public.

To the best of my knowledge this isn't possible using the WP_Query object, and would require a custom $wpdb query, which I can easily write. However, I then don't know how to setup the loop to run off this object. Can anyone help?

  • What's the right way to communicate between 2 or more .Net applications running on a same computer w

    If my applications run on a same computer or even on different computers in a same LAN and need intense and quick communication, it seems illogical for me to use text-encoded web services and HTTP. I could possibly use IP/TCP/UDP sockets and invent my own protocols, but believe there is a standard way for .Net applications to send/receive object instances (and, maybe, even sharing an object by reference?). Can you tell me what's that standard way? I am only interested in .Net Framework 4 applications and don't need to support legacy frameworks.

This method here works apart from the fact that the results over a certain distance are still in the table, they are just not graphically visible.     How do you encode a javascript object/hash (pairs of properties and values) into a URL-encoded query string with YUI (2.7.0 or 3.0.0 Beta) ? I want to do the equivalent of Object.toQueryString() from Prototype: I need this to encode parameters for GET and POST requests with YAHOO.util.Connect. It turns out YAHOO.util.Connect has a setForm() method to serialize a form but that still leaves me out cold to encode parameters for GET requests, or the 4th parameter of YAHOO.util.Connect.asyncRequest() to pass post data.

    Hi!:) In my extension, when a button named "mybutton1" in the popup.html is clicked, it sends a message "getvar1" to the contentscript.js, then the contentscript.js sends a message "i want var1" to the background.html to get an object named "var1".If the button named "mybutton2" is clicked, the contentscript.js gets the "var2" object. How should i do under this condition? What's more, i am a little confused about the chrome.extension.onRequest.addListener method and chrome.extension.sendRequest method.Could someone tell me the mechanism of the two methods? Thanks!

  • How to copy DispatcherObject (BitmapSource) into different thread?

    Hi, I am trying to figure out how can I copy DispatcherObject (in my case BitmapSource) into another thread. Use case: I have a WPF app that needs to show window in a new thread (the app is actually Outlook addin and we need to do this because Outlook has some hooks in the main UI thread and is stealing certain hotkeys that we need to use - 'lost in translation' in interop of Outlook, WPF (which we use for UI), and Winforms (we need to use certain microsoft-provided winforms controls)). With that, I have my implementation of WPFMessageBox, that is configured by setting some static properties - and and one of them is BitmapSource for icon. This is used so that in startup I can set WPFMessageBox.Icon once, and since then, every WPFMessageBox will have the same icon. The problem is that BitmapSource, which is assigned into icon, is a DispatcherObject, and when read, it will throw InvalidOperationException: "The calling thread cannot access this object because a different thread owns it.". How can I clone that BitmapSource into the actual thread? It has Clone() and CloneCurrentValue() methods, which don't work (they throw the same exception as well). It also occured to me to use originalIcon.Dispatcher.Invoke( do the cloning here ) - but the BitmapSource's Dispatcher is null, and still - I'd create a copy on a wrong thread and still couldnt use it on mine. BitmapSource.IsFrozen == true. Any idea on how to copy the BitmapSource into different thread (without completely reconstructing it from an image file in a new thread)?     I'm trying to follow Apple's Core Data utility Tutorial. It was all going nicely, until... The tutorial uses a custom sub-class of NSManagedObject, called 'Run'. Run.h looks like this: #import <Foundation/Foundation.h> #import <CoreData/CoreData.h> @interface Run : NSManagedObject { NSInteger processID; } @property (retain) NSDate *date; @property (retain) NSDate *primitiveDate; @property NSInteger processID; @end Now, in Run.m we have an accessor method for the processID variable: - (void)setProcessID:(int)newProcessID { [self willChangeValueForKey:@"processID"]; processID = newProcessID; [self didChangeValueForKey:@"processID"]; } In main.m, we use functions to set up a managed object model and context, instantiate an entity called run, and add it to the context. We then get the current NSprocessInfo, in preparation for setting the processID of the run object. NSManagedObjectContext *moc = managedObjectContext(); NSEntityDescription *runEntity = [[mom entitiesByName] objectForKey:@"Run"]; Run *run = [[Run alloc] initWithEntity:runEntity insertIntoManagedObjectContext:moc]; NSProcessInfo *processInfo = [NSProcessInfo processInfo]; Next, we try to call the accessor method defined in Run.m to set the value of processID: [run setProcessID:[processInfo processIdentifier]]; And that's where it's crashing. However, any help or suggestions would be gratefully received! ===MORE INFORMATION=== Following up on Jeremy's suggestions: The processID attribute in the model is set up like this: NSAttributeDescription *idAttribute = [[NSAttributeDescription alloc]init]; [idAttribute setName:@"processID"]; [idAttribute setAttributeType:NSInteger32AttributeType]; [idAttribute setOptional:NO]; [idAttribute setDefaultValue:[NSNumber numberWithInteger:-1]]; which seems a little odd; we are defining it as a scalar type, and then giving it an NSNumber object as its default value. In the associated class, Run, processID is defined as an NSInteger. Still, this should be OK - it's all copied directly from the tutorial. It seems to me that the problem is probably in there somewhere. By the way, the getter method for processID is defined like this: - (int)processID { [self willAccessValueForKey:@"processID"]; NSInteger pid = processID; [self didAccessValueForKey:@"processID"]; return pid; } and this method works fine; it accesses and unpacks the default int value of processID (-1).
