    hi, I am new to Joomla and using joomla1.5.15 hosted on godaddy. Currently no new/additional compenents/extentions have been installed. I want to add a feedback form (with few text/check boxes, radio buttons etc) in my site, which should also send an email to some email id without storing information in database. Kindly guide me how to do that? Is it reuiqred to install any components? If so, kindly suggest the non-commercial component(s). Thanks in advance. Thanks Amzy

  • Web part error on Team Foundation Server Project Portal Sharepoint site...

    Hi all, I recently installed TFS 2010 with the included sharepoint services on a single server. I am getting the following error multiple times on the project dashboard web page on the TFS2010 project protal after creating a brand new project in the default project collection. I am not an expert with WSS, so any guidance will be greatly appreciated. After reading a few articles I understand there are some DLL that are probably not declared as safe in a web config file. But I am not sure which DLL they are and where the web config file is. I looked at IIS to determine the directory structure in IIS is quiet different to the URL path ...Thanks very much.   • Log4cxx sample program and steps to compile

    Hi guys Hoping someone can help out.. I've been scouring the net for a simple how-to to get a good log4cxx program working, with steps on setting up the libraries, dependants, directives, library paths etc etc.. as of yet i've found a lot of valuable but disjointed information.. trying to pull it all together has been a bit of a nightmare, so i'm reaching out and wondering if any kind soul knows of, or could put together a simple how-to, to get a standard win32 console app running with either static or dynamically linked release mode log4cxx.. I have win32 binary releases of the libraries, and thanks to a very cool dude from "Must a blog have a name" I have a win32 project which can build log4cxx.. i just cant bloody use it :) It would be really helpful to me, and probably to others, to be able to refer to something like this and not 20 different pages, with different lists of libraries needed to download and install.. :) Here's hoping Thanks guys J

  • Source code comparison app that doesn't require files?

    I'm looking for an easy-to-use, free source code comparison app for Windows, which will highlight differences side-by-side between two pieces of source code. Some apps get close to what I want, but are too restrictive by requiring you load in entire files and compare them in their entirety. Sometimes I just want to compare a section of my file, such as a single function, which may be in totally different locations in the two versions I'd be comparing, making it hard to find in both panes in large files. Basically, I'd like to be able to simply edit/copy/paste the content in both panes rather than have the restriction of using files. That way I can copy and paste one function into one pane and another into the other, editing/re-ordering as necessary. (Note that I realize there are other comparison app recommendation threads out there, but I'm having a hard time finding a free app that isn't a strict file-to-file comparison app) Thanks for any pointers or links, thanks!

    Thanks to everyone in advance. I'm using Jaxer.sandbox and making requests just fine. I'd like these requests to go through my http proxy (like squid for example).     I need to call a Javascript function from the server side in Client side. I looked and didn't find any way how to do it. I looked also over AJAX but can't figure it out. I am using ASP ( clasic) not .net . I need to call the function in client-side with a variable that comes from the client-side. Please help me!!! Thanks a million !!! I am using a FlashMovies that is sending a value to a Javascript function through ExternalInterface class. The function in javascript receiving it is gAnswer(result) and in this function i would need to have something like : Server side: function saveResult(result) {code to be saved on the server goes here } Client side : function gAnswer (result) { saveResult(result) } <- THis is the part i dont know how to do. The function gAnswer is being called when the flash movie finished by itself. Would you be able to provide some code on how to ? thanks to each one of you who helped me =)

  • Web form / CGI scripting: User enters "word", IFrame displays "word".html

    Okay, I'll admit being a designer, I don't know much about how data is handled from the servers in forms... (basically the whole programming part). Basically I have a text field that the user types something like "apple", this gets sent to the server and then displays the apple.html page that I have in a directory in an IFrame. If anyone can show me how to do this in a PHP script or Perl, would be great thanks! I think this is good start, it gets more complicated than this... I later have to convert the "apple" into something like 2321 and display 2321.html instead. If anyone can find a CGI script that does this, thanks!

    hi, i'm still new to yii framework. so, i want to try running yiic so that i could see the structure of the files created. but, i could not run it in console. Does anyone have a solution? thanks. I'm using wamp on win xp. i go to the directory of the yiic framework its in D:\wamp\www\framework\ and run yiic and any other variations per Larry Ullman's blog. but still got: "..." is not a recognizable internal/ external command... How should i be able to run yiic? thanks.
