  • how to suppress output in R

    Hi, I would like to suppress output in R when I run my r script from the command prompt. I tried numerous options including "--slave" and "--vanilla". Those options lessens the amount of text outputted. I also tried to pipe the output to "NUL" but that didn't help. Thanks a lot, Derek

    I am new comer to Android development. Installed fresh Eclipse (Ganymede), Android android-sdk-linux_86. Tried HelloWorld program. Compiles OK. An AVD "my1" created for API level 7. The Emulator does not start, giving an error: [2010-03-11 16:49:49 - Emulator] NAND: could not write file /hd2/android-sdk-linux_86/add-ons/google_apis-7_r01/images//system.img, File exists Perplexed. Help requested.

    Hi everyone, In my asp .net project, my main page receives URL as a parameter I need to download internally and then process it. I know that I can use WebClient's DownloadFile method however I want to avoid malicious user from giving a url to a huge file, which will unnecessary traffic from my server. In order to avoid this, I'm looking for a solution to set maximum file size that DownloadFile will download. Thank you in advance, Jack

  • How can one detect if a server/script is accessing their site through cURL/file_get_contents()? (excluding user-agents and IP addresses)

    I've come across a question where a user is having difficulties accessing an image through a script (using cURL/file_get_contents()): How to save an image from url using PHP? The image link seems to return a 403 error when using file_get_contents() to request it. But in cURL, a more detailed error is returned: You were denied access to the system. Turn off the engine or Surf Proxy, Fake IP if you really want to access. Proxy or not accepted from any Web tools Intrusion Prevention System. Binh Minh Online Data Services @ 2008 - 2012 I also failed to access the same image after fiddling around with a cURL request myself. I tried changing the user-agent to my exact browsers user-agent which can successfully access the image. I've also tried the script on my personal local server, which (obviously) uses the same IP address as my browser... So as far as I know, user-agents and IP addresses are out of the situation. How else can someone detect a script performing a request? BTW, this is not for anything crazy. I'm just curious xD

    Hi, I've got problems starting my WAR application on a local JBoss. What I need is to get the generated build XML without run anything.     Hi, I am trying to automate the creation of team projects using a command built into VS 2010 called File.BatchNewTeamProject using a project settings file as an argument, and executing this as a process silently in the background from my c# win app. I am aware of a requirement that Team Explorer has to be open and connected to TFS before this command can run, however, when I start a process with devenv.exe, a fresh instance of visual studio pops up with Team Explorer not connected by default. How can I solve this problem?

  • Ant target generate empty suite xml file

    I am using ant for my project and I have been trying to generate JUnit report using ant target. The problem I run in to is that at the end of the execution my TESTS-TestSuites.xml is empty. But all the other individual test xml files have data. And due to this my html reports are empty, in the sense results shows "0". Parameter name: path Line 27 Position 79.'" (Compiler or xaml validation error). I have no idea where this Path comes from, neither does my example show anything of it. If you doubleclick the error, it points to the end of the first line. Did anybody encounter such a problem and has a solution for it?   • Creating text file from as2

    I'm trying to find a way to write to a text file from as2. I don't want to use any php or asp because my app needs to run without an internet connection. As3 has FileReference.save() and judging by the amount of searching I've done, as2 doesn't have that simple of a solution. Does anyone have a way even if its hacky to write to a txt file from as2?

  • WebLogic Server 11g with java based node manager stdout/stderr log path configuration.

    Hi, How I can configure the path where the stdout logs are written by the WebLogic server? I've read about -Dweblogic.log.RedirectStdoutToServerLogEnabled=true, but this redirects only part of the output. For example if I will run a thread dump, the output will remain in the original log file. I think it should be an option in nodemanager/startup.properties file. WebLogic version is 10.3.2.0 and I am using a java based node manager. OS is RHEL 5. Thank you, Mircea
